TTanja.dblThis hotel exceeded our expectations by far. The attention to detail and the warm service made it feel extremely special and comfortable. The garden and the rooms are super beautiful with so much attention to detail. It felt like a sacred, holy place with its temple, library and tea room as well as the garden. The staff was very friendly and helped us out a lot with planning our trip. The drive us to the Fanjing Mountain and also organized a driver to pick us up in Tongren when we came and a driver to drive us to Fenghuang the day we left. Also they had amazing foods and although we are vegetarians and don’t eat meat they had plenty of options. We were lucky to meet a master (teacher) of Buddhism and his student (a tea master who was learning about Buddhism from him). They also made this trip very special since we got invited to traditional tea ceremonies and were able to listen to the singing of prayers and traditional Chinese instruments they played for us. This hotel is the perfect place for these sort of guests and it’s perfect if you want a relaxing meditative Chinese experience. The surrounding countryside is very beautiful as well and perfect for going on a walk to explore a little. We hope we will be able to come again in the future.

GGuest UserThe riverside right by the entrance is simply enchanting. Waking up and pulling back the curtains in the morning, I was greeted by a soft mist cloaking the distant views and the river, truly like a wonderland. A stroll down to the riverbank was incredibly invigorating. I'll definitely return for another stay if time permits.
It happened to be the Dragon Boat Festival, and the owner thoughtfully prepared Zongzi (rice dumplings) and the local specialty, Miancai Ba, early that morning. It gave me such a heartwarming, home-away-from-home feeling.

GGuest UserIt was such a surprise find at Fanjingshan. The rooms are big with modern facilities including toilet seat sensor. The inn also has a lift for those with big luggages and don’t want to climb the stairs with them, a feature that is not in all the inns around.
We have such a comfortable stay, even if it was just for a night. We took a didi to the inn in the evening and in the morning, the owner drove us to the gate of Fanjingshan to purchase the tickets. He also offered to pick us up when we are done for the day at fjs. He also helped us to engage a driver who drove us to fenghuang ancient town for a fair price based on our cab fare from Tongren to fjs. I will definitely recommend this inn which is also new, opened in March 2023.

GGuest UserI’m proud to be the first to review this great hotel. First the location. I don’t think you can get any closer to the entrance… it’s literally the 3rd hotel from the entrance. It took me 7 minutes to walk to the entrance at a leisurely pace. Next the excellent staff. Super service answered all my questions prior to my arrival regarding tickets to Fanjing. I was also late to check out and come down from the mountain because of the rain… they were very understanding.
The room was also spotless. Super modern… with this really cool shower system that was unique but intuitive. This is a new hotel and as of July 2025, the hotel has only been open for 6 months. The room was pretty much exactly as it looked like in the photos.
The only thing western travelers may find odd is that the first floor is an authentic Chinese restaurant which you have to walk though. For me it was a festive entrance every time! Overall a great bargain.

GGuest UserIf you see this comment, you must listen to me and book now! Don't hesitate! Checked in yesterday and checked out today. Arrived yesterday. The boss came to pick us up and drove directly into the scenic area. The room was very good and elegant. See the pictures. Breakfast at 6 o'clock the next day. Entered the park at 6.10. The first batch came back around 10:30. The experience was very good. After returning, people felt uncomfortable. The room had been checked out, but the boss still let us go in to rest and sent us cold drinks to cool us down. After that, the boss's wife took the initiative to help us contact the return car and called the driver to confirm that we got on the car! Next time I come to Fanjing Mountain, I will stay at this hotel again. A small suggestion, the powder for breakfast should be softer, it may be better

Cleanliness: Acceptable.
Environment: Facing the mountains, very quiet. Guests are quite considerate.
Service: The front desk lady was very enthusiastic, helped with luggage, and greeted me every time I entered and exited. It felt very warm, thumbs up! She recommended a restaurant next to the hotel for breakfast and dinner, both with a 20% discount. It was popular and the food was good.

The rooms are comfortable, the beds are clean, and the facilities are complete.
The inn owner is very welcoming and provides shuttle service to and from the east gate of the Fanjing Mountain Scenic Area. The local chicken at the restaurant in the Dong Village is also delicious. Unfortunately, freezing rain closed many scenic spots on the second day of our climb, so we didn't get to see much of the scenery, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

GGuest UserThis is an ideal hotel for taking children on summer vacation. A highly recommended summer resort hotel. The hotel is a garden hotel with excellent amenities and a good breakfast. The hotel is also located next to a crystal-clear river, perfect for swimming and fishing. The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from Fanjing Mountain, offering stunning scenery. If you're driving, this is highly recommended and a great value. I'll be back next year. The service was also excellent. My only suggestion is that the toiletries could be better; those with more sophisticated needs should bring their own.

GGuest Userto be honest, This hotel is definitely good value for money. Compared to hotels near shops, I prefer accommodations that are some distance away from Fanjing Mountain. One of the reasons is that if you want to walk around shops or go shopping at night, you will be disturbed and forcefully sold to by many people.
The hotel provides many services including transportation to the entrance of Fanjing Mountain and breakfast. This is a very thoughtful service and I am very satisfied with it.
There are many restaurants near the hotel, and many locals dine there.
Choosing 3D2N is definitely the first choice. Going up and down the mountain consumes a lot of energy. After we came down the mountain, we went straight to the hotel and slept for 14 hours. The only downside to being near Fanjing Mountain is that it is very far to other attractions. Make sure you can catch a car or bus back to the hotel before nightfall.

227huashengIf your goal is to visit Fanjing Mountain, this hotel is an excellent choice. Its location is superb, just about 100 meters outside the East Gate of the Fanjing Mountain scenic area, right on the main road leading there. It's very visible and easy to find. While the hotel facilities aren't brand new, they are practical and convenient to use. Breakfast is served on the ground floor, to the right, and the food was quite tasty. To the left outside the hotel, you'll find plenty of shops and amenities, including supermarkets, fruit stores, and restaurants. This location is very convenient if you plan an early morning hike up the mountain. By the way, Fanjing Mountain itself is amazing, truly ethereal and definitely worth visiting.
