I stayed there one night during the May Day holiday and would recommend it. 1. Location: It's located between Guilin city center and Mopanshan Wharf, about 12 kilometers away (about a 15-minute drive). The next morning, if the owner's son had time, he would offer to drive you to the wharf for free and even take you to breakfast at a local restaurant. I had a bowl of breakfast there, and it was very authentic and inexpensive. 2. Cleanliness: The guesthouse was renovated in 2024 and is very clean. It's comparable to chain hotels in the city. The hotels I stayed in during the May Day holiday were too dirty and expensive; this place was much cleaner and simpler. 3. Service: The guesthouse is run by the owner, his wife, and their son. They were very welcoming. When I was in the city at 9 am, they called to check on me and when I would be checking in. The guesthouse also provides two bottles of mineral water. There's a restaurant on the first floor, but I didn't eat there, so I won't comment on that. 4. Surrounding Facilities: The hotel is right next to the road, supposedly about 5 kilometers from the town. There are no supermarkets or commercial streets within 500 meters. The taxi driver said it's easy to get a taxi. Overall, the location is a bit remote, but if you're like me and want to avoid traffic and get up late to take the cruise the next day, it's a worthwhile place to stay overnight—no rip-offs. 5. Mopanshan Wharf: There are many vendors selling things at the wharf ticket office, including umbrellas and plenty of food. So if you don't want to eat on the cruise, you can buy something at the wharf. No need to buy anything in the city. Don't ask why; I bought a whole bag of food, and it was tiring to carry! Overall, the owners and their family are very warm and welcoming, especially the owner's son, a simple local. You could feel it chatting with him on the way to Mopanshan Wharf. Finally, I wish everyone a happy trip. Feel free to ask me if you have any travel questions. For example, I recommend buying raincoats, but not umbrellas, as it's windy on the cruise and umbrellas are difficult to use in the rain.

I came to Guangxi for 6 days. The only one that made me most satisfied was that the environment was very good. It was close to the Lijiang Scenic Area. The boss and the proprietress were very enthusiastic. They could cook their own chickens and ducks for dinner. They fried their own vegetables. There was a stream to play in a few steps. The children had a great time. Haha! Come to Guangxi for 6 days, this is the only place that makes us want to live for another day. Although the location is marked as Lingchuan County, it's about a 10-minute walk from Guilin North Railway Station and about a 30-minute bus ride from Guilin West Railway Station. Getting to Guilin's old city is also very convenient; there are buses running frequently right outside the building. However, since it's not in Guilin City, you'll need to walk a short distance to use an electric scooter. Upon check-in, be sure to add the security guard on WeChat for easier communication and to get the key card for the elevator. Although I stayed in a six-person room, I was the only guest during the off-season, so the male and female bathrooms were separate. The hot water in the female room is electric, not 24-hour. There's a kitchen for simple meals, but no refrigerator. The security guard downstairs was very friendly and even kindly helped me check in when I was lost. You need to bring your own toiletries, but there's a small vending machine where you can buy them at similar prices to outside.
