GGuest UserI stayed there one night during the May Day holiday and would recommend it.
1. Location: It's located between Guilin city center and Mopanshan Wharf, about 12 kilometers away (about a 15-minute drive). The next morning, if the owner's son had time, he would offer to drive you to the wharf for free and even take you to breakfast at a local restaurant. I had a bowl of breakfast there, and it was very authentic and inexpensive.
2. Cleanliness: The guesthouse was renovated in 2024 and is very clean. It's comparable to chain hotels in the city. The hotels I stayed in during the May Day holiday were too dirty and expensive; this place was much cleaner and simpler.
3. Service: The guesthouse is run by the owner, his wife, and their son. They were very welcoming. When I was in the city at 9 am, they called to check on me and when I would be checking in. The guesthouse also provides two bottles of mineral water. There's a restaurant on the first floor, but I didn't eat there, so I won't comment on that.
4. Surrounding Facilities: The hotel is right next to the road, supposedly about 5 kilometers from the town. There are no supermarkets or commercial streets within 500 meters. The taxi driver said it's easy to get a taxi. Overall, the location is a bit remote, but if you're like me and want to avoid traffic and get up late to take the cruise the next day, it's a worthwhile place to stay overnight—no rip-offs.
5. Mopanshan Wharf: There are many vendors selling things at the wharf ticket office, including umbrellas and plenty of food. So if you don't want to eat on the cruise, you can buy something at the wharf. No need to buy anything in the city. Don't ask why; I bought a whole bag of food, and it was tiring to carry!
Overall, the owners and their family are very warm and welcoming, especially the owner's son, a simple local. You could feel it chatting with him on the way to Mopanshan Wharf. Finally, I wish everyone a happy trip. Feel free to ask me if you have any travel questions. For example, I recommend buying raincoats, but not umbrellas, as it's windy on the cruise and umbrellas are difficult to use in the rain.

BBingtangdayiThe B&B, run by a local, is clean and tidy, perfect for a two-day stay. Eating isn't very convenient nearby, but there's a brand-name rice noodle shop and a small restaurant at the intersection, both of which are quite good. But if you want a wider selection, you'll need to go into town. It's more suitable for self-driving travelers, so if you don't have a car, I recommend staying in town for its convenience.

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the shower was dry and wet, and the hot water came quickly and steadily. The young lady at the front desk was gentle and patient, and also recommended the super delicious night market around. Convenience stores and snack bars downstairs are all available, the price is absolutely perfect, the student party, the poor traveler close their eyes!

GGuest UserThe B&B is located near mountains and rivers. The environment is good and the air is good. The shop owner is also very enthusiastic. In addition to the free paddle board experience, you can play in the river. There are also paid coffee drinks. This is a great place to retreat, drink tea, chat, and watch TV in the room. The room is equipped with a smart toilet and dehumidifier.
Let’s talk about the areas that need improvement. 1. The room is not well soundproofed. 2. The guests were bored at night and had nothing to do. 3. Compared to the price of 700 yuan a night, the breakfast is too simple. A bowl of rice noodles and a braised egg.

Next time I have a chance, I will go to the place where they drink tea upstairs to enjoy tea and see the scenery to eat local specialties. It is really casual and comfortable. The boss said that there is a vegetable market next to it. If you have enough time, you can buy ingredients and borrow their kitchen to make your own food. The family members said that it is really good here and it is recommended.

GGuest UserVery nice stay experience. After seeing ginkgo from Ocean Township, I booked a meal with the boss first. When I arrived, I could have a hot dinner. The meal made by the boss was great and the price was very affordable. I had a chicken for dinner and a duck for Chinese food the next day. The quilt was clean and it was like the feeling of home that was mentioned in the previous review. A group of friends had a great weekend here! By the way, you can run around the island in the morning! Great!

GGuest UserI'm very satisfied with the 270-degree suite. It feels like a vacation, the bedding is very good, the lounge chair is super comfortable, and I also like the breakfast. There are relatively few restaurants around, so it is recommended to go there after eating in the city. I took a taxi to Mopanshan Pier in the morning and got there in 10 minutes. Great. I recommend this hotel.
