"I've stayed at Seawall before, and I remember the air conditioning in the room being very quiet, not affecting my sleep quality at all. This time I stayed in a street-view room with a small balcony, and the AC was still very quiet. It's really important to get good rest when you're traveling.
From the hotel entrance, you can see the Dawan seascape and the sunset, and Kenting Street is right behind the hotel. For us, who prioritize relaxation, it's a very suitable and convenient location.
Seawall provides breakfast vouchers for a restaurant on the first floor of another building. It's quite simple, but it has everything you need, and I personally thought it was good."

"If you're looking for a place to truly unwind in Kenting, I highly recommend 35.5. The room was incredibly clean and spacious, and the bed was just the right firmness, ensuring we had excellent sleep every night. I especially loved the minimalist design of the room; it felt very calming and uncluttered.
Even though the hotel is right by the main street, the soundproofing was surprisingly effective, completely blocking out the noise from outside. Xiaowan Beach is less than a 5-minute walk away, so we could easily stroll down to the beach in the evening, dip our feet in the water, and then return to the room for a relaxing bath. It was the perfect way to melt away all our stress. A big thank you to the guesthouse owner for providing such a wonderful space, allowing us to recharge before heading home!"

La Inn-Nanwan is located directly across the street from South Bay Beach, just a 2-minute walk to the beach, with convenience stores nearby. There is a flat parking lot. It is a 10-minute drive from Kenting Street. All the rooms facing the sea have balconies. Sitting on the balcony and watching the beautiful sea view of Nanwan is definitely one of the most enjoyable things on vacation.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in Kenting's Little Bay, just across the road from Little Bay Beach, and the bus stop is also very close by. The hotel's breakfast spread is fantastic, and the seafood buffet for dinner offers great value for money. The best part is that the restaurant has a window overlooking the ocean (Picture 1), adding a wonderful ambiance to dinner. The hotel's garden is a lovely spot to relax (Picture 2). The swimming pool in the garden was under maintenance, so to compensate guests, the hotel organized some fun activities, like a night crab-hunting trip on the beach. We scared all the crabs away, and only a bunch of hermit crabs (Picture 3) stayed to play with us! ☺️

SSuzieWe stayed at the 海景三合院特色民宿 Seashoy BnB during the Qingming Festival holiday weekend. The architecture is stunning.
The owners contacted me before we traveled to the island, asking if we wanted help booking the ferry and a scooter. They're very helpful people! Once we arrived, they gave us maps showing tourist places of interest, and which beaches are safe for swimming.
They can also give advice about restaurants. The location is great, there's a beach within walking distance and a few restaurants and bars. But if you have a scooter/motorbike then it's easy to get around the island from anywhere.
I really liked that there is a building with extra showers, sinks and mirrors- and you can wash your swimsuits and towels without having to trek messy sand into your room after a day at the beach.
Even though the room was a little small, it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was OK, you should collect it from the reception early or it'll get cold.
When we checked out, we were kindly given traditional Liuqiu cookies and cards with artwork.
I know that the price was a bit high because of the holiday weekend demand, but it was definitely worth it for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Liuqiu Island.

GGuest UserVery good service of reception. Helped to booked car back to highspeedrail station as buses stop running cos of typhoon. Reception also gave recommendation to places to eat and where is still open. Helped to check if its still open as well.
Room is very clean. Spacious. We got a free upgrade to ocean view room.
Although typhoon disrupted our plans, this hostel definitely made it alot better. No complains. Feel well rested too.

SSh07The location is very convenient - just a 5-10 minute straight walk from the port. It’s also close to many food options. I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm, and thanks to the low season, only two beds were occupied, so it was very quiet.
The place was very clean, and there’s a cafe downstairs run by the same owner. There’s a very cute cat there too.
The toilet was also very clean, but you’ll need to bring your own towel. Alternatively, bath towels can be rented for NT$50.

The location of this hotel is very convenient — it is close to the beach and within walking distance to the night market, which is definitely a plus.
However, overall my stay was not very comfortable.
Inside the room, the floor is not completely even. While it may not seem like a big issue at first, it could easily become a tripping hazard, especially for older guests or anyone not paying close attention.
The bathroom is also not separated into dry and wet areas, which makes it more slippery and less convenient to use.
Another important point is that the hotel does not have an elevator. Carrying luggage up and down the stairs can be quite inconvenient, particularly for elderly guests or those with heavy bags.
Although the interior design may look quite stylish or luxurious at first glance, in reality it feels impractical and raises safety concerns. There are other small details as well, but I will not go into them here.
I understand that different properties have their own limitations, and I am sharing this from a personal perspective. I hope this information can be helpful for future travelers when making their decision.

AAnnaTsangStayed at Secretpath Bed and Breakfast and had a great experience. The location is convenient and easy to get around. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The public area is cozy and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing. They also offer free laundry facilities, with the dryer costing only 30 TWD, which is super convenient for travelers. Overall, a comfortable and value-for-money stay.

The bus stop is also very close.
The accommodation has a forest theme. The hallway leading to the rooms is too dark, and there's a strange odor in the air. I suggest adding an air freshener in that area.
There's a resident cat manager!
The ground floor lobby is incredibly hot.
Check-in is from 3 PM to 6 AM the next day, and check-out is before 11 AM.
There are no hooks in the downstairs restroom, which is inconvenient.
No water dispenser upstairs, also inconvenient.
The staff helped carry my luggage to the room – excellent!
The hangers in the drying area were full of rust – gross!
The upstairs fridge is too small.
My experience in the female dorm 8 lower bunk - single bed (Horse Stall): The mattress was a bit thin.
The room's bathroom isn't separated for wet/dry areas.
The locker in the room has no bottom, so items placed inside touch the floor directly.
There are too few hooks by the bed, and no small table or shelf to put things on.
At night, I occasionally heard car engine noises from outside.

江江正喜On the way to Kenting, I thought I'd see some really high-end hotels. I'd heard they didn't offer online booking before, but now they do, which is great for families with kids. I thought weekdays were fine, but because of traffic, I booked online. Comparing prices, $3009 for two people on weekdays was acceptable, that's typical for domestic travel. I probably wouldn't book on weekends. The room was okay, a bit dated. What surprised me was the price in Kenting – less than 1000 RMB on weekdays, but $3330 on weekends! It made me want to swear. The only downside was the lack of indoor slippers. The maintenance was okay, though. I often pass by, but I've never dared to stay because the price is outrageous. The room should have at least four pillows. I think they should keep the indoor slippers; they're not disposable, it makes a difference to the guests' experience. There are many other reviews, so I'll just list them all and see what I think! I didn't have breakfast, got up early to head back!

GGuest UserThe sea view room at Mucheng Homestay offers fantastic views of the ocean, which is very relaxing. The room was clean and well-equipped. However, for two older people like us, carrying suitcases up three flights of stairs was quite a struggle. The location is also a bit far from the pier, so renting a car and having someone help with luggage transport is definitely necessary. Other than that, everything was pretty good!
