Aci Castello Hotels with Balcony

Firstly, thanks to the staff who welcomed us with great friendliness. The hotel is in a great location, just a few steps from the Acitrix sea, where there are many rooms for dinner or aperitif. The structure is very beautiful (I loved the interior design) and the rooms are also good, with perfect size; the bathroom and the balcony are spacious. The boiler is very useful (it is one of the first things I look for in the accommodation facilities!). The breakfast room is very nice, with both interior and exterior spaces (but if you're bothered by the morning sun, wear a hat or sunglasses). I chose to sit out and at 8 a.m. the walls avoid direct sun: with that temperature it was really pleasant. (There are some bees, but the trick is put some cooked mud: they go mad and ignore everything else! 😄) Breakfast also offers a wide variety of products. Very comfortable, the private parking is available at only 10 euros per night. Just to give a complete judgement: the rooms are not very soundless inside, while outside yes. So, if some clients are noisy in the corridor, you can hear. In addition, in the breakfast room there is only one drinking machine, and this sometimes can discourage taking something to drink, given the row. Thank you and... to the next!

Very nice hotel, located quite near the sea. The small but very nice pool is suitable for the size of the hotel. A very large and fresh room, quite light. Functional bathroom, perhaps a little washing room but very broad shower And very comfortable. Gentle staff able to accept and manage requests in a manner of good and preciseness. The only thing that penalizes the hotel is the distance from Catania airport, With public means is a journey for more than 60 minutes, instead with the car it is much more affordable, say 35/40 minutes, and there is a large internal parking

Grand Hotel Baia Verde is a nice resort hotel.  Unfortunately we came in the off season so some amenities like the pool and access to the sea were not available.  Our room was a recently renovated room and was very clean with a balcony.  The views in the morning were fantastic watching the sun rise up over the sea.  It’s about a 20 minute drive into the centre of Catania. Mount Etna is about a 40 minute drive  Would not recommend staying here unless you have a car, there isn’t much in walking distance apart from other hotels.   Staff were pleasant and helpful.  Breakfast buffet was wonderful and the hotel bar was also nice.  Hotel grounds were well kept and very scenic. Parking is onsite in a secure lot.
