JJ1225This hotel is right on the waterfront, directly across from Qinglongshan Pier, surrounded by rice paddies and Puzhehei Lake. The rice has just been planted, and the lotus leaves are just beginning to emerge in the lake, with specks of green floating on the water. It will definitely be even more beautiful in June! I came specifically for Puzhehei, and it certainly lives up to its reputation; both the scenery and the facilities are excellent! The chef's cooking is delicious, and the vegetables taste so sweet! Overall, it's fantastic! Definitely worth another visit!

DDuolvxingshaolvyouI initially thought Puzhehei Village only had guesthouses, and I chose this one, expecting it to be a modified version of a guesthouse. However, it turned out to be a hotel with hotel-level standards while retaining local charm. Located within Puzhehei Village, it has its own parking lot, including five or six indoor parking spaces. Lover's Bridge is just to the left of the hotel entrance, and a short walk across the bridge leads to the foot of Qinglong Mountain, surrounded by numerous restaurants. The hotel has an elevator, and the rooms are spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of the typical Puzhehei landscape. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, offering both Chinese and Western options, with fresh rice noodles being a must, and even freshly cooked poached chicken. All the staff were very nice and enthusiastically offered travel suggestions tailored to different types of guests.

The hotel is facing the center of Puzhehei Lake, with no obstruction to the view. In the evening, the sunset is like an overturned palette, from orange-red to crimson purple, layer by layer, and the clouds are plated with gold edges, reflecting on the lake like flowing flames. The most amazing thing is the private lakeside garden. Sitting on a rattan chair, there is a sparkling lake under your feet, and the mountains in the distance are like dark blue. The evening breeze is wrapped in water vapor and blows on your face, as if integrated with nature. Compared with other hotels, the sunset here has a bit more of the tranquility of ”isolation from the world”, and every shot is a movie-level picture!

The most amazing thing about the hotel is the outdoor private lakeside garden! It is very large, planted with jacaranda and bougainvillea, and star lights are hung under the flower rack. When it lights up at night, it is like a fairy tale world. At the end of the garden is a wooden platform that extends to the lake. Put tea sets and blankets on it, sit with friends and watch the sunset, and even breathe gently.

From the beginning of booking, I felt the hotel's attentiveness: the housekeeper contacted in advance to confirm the needs, personally carried the luggage when I arrived at the store, introduced the check-in points in the garden, and even prepared umbrellas and mosquito repellent!

GGuest UserThe hotel specifications are very good among the surrounding B&Bs. The proprietress is as enthusiastic as the comments say, and she invited us to have dinner with them. Although we came here in winter, it was not cold at all, and the attractions were much cheaper than usual. We also went to Swan Lake to ride a paddle board, and the scenery was beautiful. The most recommended thing is to go to the strawberry field to pick strawberries and experience the pastoral life when you come here in this season.

GGuest UserLast year, friends visited this inn and recommended it to me. I was drawn to the courtyard view in the photos and booked it. The male owner was very easy to communicate with over the phone. On my first night, I checked in alone in a king-size room with a courtyard view. Upon arrival, I had to wait a while before I was checked in, but I was quite satisfied. It was the first room on the second floor, on the top floor. The view wasn't much, and the courtyard view was towards the desk. However, the amenities were good, with central air conditioning and decent internet.
The next day, two friends were coming over, so we switched to a twin room. My mood completely tanked. It was the worst room in the courtyard, next to the guest room. It smelled terrible and was so dark that we had to turn on the lights during the day. It was a bit of a bummer to stay in a dark room for the price I paid, but since my friends were coming soon, I couldn't really check out. Since it was only one night and I wasn't going to be in the room to enjoy the view, I decided to leave it that way.
I asked the hotel for travel tips, and many people said they found great deals on inns. Unexpectedly, the hotel's recommendation, without any tips, was even higher than the platform. I was completely stunned and had to continue using the platform and asking other people. I also discovered that the hotel was mostly packed with group travelers, with very few independent travelers. No wonder the housekeeper had no recommendations.
I got some useful information from other small hotels. After picking up my friend and returning to his room, I discovered the internet connection was incredibly poor. After repeated attempts to resolve the issue, I gave up on the hotel and decided to find another place the next day.
The second night was a truly terrible experience. For some reason, I heard roosters crowing from 3 a.m., and even with earplugs, I couldn't fall asleep. My friends had the same experience, and by 5 a.m., we couldn't stand it anymore and simply got up to watch the sunrise.
The higher the expectations, the greater the disappointment. I had planned to stay for three days, but I quickly fled after two. With the wide range of prices in Puzhehei, housekeeper services are actually very important for tourists. I hope the owner, while making money, will also consider providing better customer service for the long term.
To be honest, the hotel's overall facilities are quite good. The air conditioning and bathroom facilities are good, and my friends found the mattresses comfortable.
The roosters crowing on the second day was truly unbelievable (they didn't on the first day).
