Southampton Hotels with Bars

I went there only for 3 nights. It’s really was so cozy. This hotel give you so many options. You can cook there you have everything for that, it’s even more staff to do. For my opinion I will come back there. I was with my girlfriend she cooked for us and we save even more than expected. Just to avoid restaurants and spending for fast food.

The staff were very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. The pool area with the steam and sauna rooms were clean. The rooms need updating but overall we had a pleasant experience.

Stayed one night before a cruise. The hotel is opposite a large shopping mall and close to the cruise terminal. The facilities are new, typical of a boutique hotel, though the room size is a bit small. The hotel service was a bit chaotic; at check-in, they knew our room fee was fully paid and only held £30 as a temporary deposit. However, at check-out, they claimed they had no record of our payment and asked us to show our bank transfer statement. Four days later, without any other deductions, the hotel is still holding that £30.

Location is fine, but it needs clear directions. The service is good. The front desk is helpful. It worth to try again in next time.

Excellent hotel with great check in support. The staff were great and gave us advice about where we could charge our electric vehicle. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. A nice clean and comfortable room. The bed was really comfortable and we stopped in an accessible room which was great. It had all of the facilities that you would need to be well supported. The only possible addition would be an EV charging point but there were facilities locally which were easily accessible.

I recently stayed at Elizabeth House Hotel in Southampton and had a very pleasant experience. The building has a charming, traditional feel with well-maintained interiors that give it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to help with anything we needed, which really added to the overall experience. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, with all the essential amenities. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well each night. The breakfast was another highlight – freshly cooked and served with a smile. There was a good variety of hot and cold options, and everything tasted great. The location is convenient – just a short drive from the city centre and the cruise terminal, with free parking on-site, which was a big bonus. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that some parts of the decor could use a bit of modernizing, and the bathroom in our room was slightly dated. However, everything worked well, and it didn’t detract much from the overall experience. Would definitely recommend Elizabeth House Hotel to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to stay in Southampton!

Great location, close to town centre area and also within walking distance to tourist attraction like Tudor House. The pub Standing Order next to the hotel is recommended for its great atmosphere and food.

Charming little B&B in nice house. Continental breakfast only, no great variety but good. Rooms were nice and clean. It's in a residential area, 15-20 minutes walk to shops, restaurants etc.

The hotel is in a great, quiet location and it is a very beautiful building. The room was clean and pleasant, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Through Trip I thought I had booked one room up from the smallest option, but alas turns out I had not! The bed was also advertised as a standard double, it definitely is not in the smaller rooms, it is a small double, and this made sleeping for two a little uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though we turned the radiator off and had the window open all night but I think this is just due to it being an older building, heat rises etc. The pool room really needs TLC. It is very overlooked and we felt really lets the hotel down. It's shame as it's a lovely space - even a quick lick of paint would bring it back to life if money doesn't allow for larger maintenance. Staff were all very friendly, especially the two we were served by in the restaurant for dinner. The food was okay but a little over priced but the service made up for that. All in all for a quick overnight stop it was fine.
