Niigata City Hotels with Bars

"This is a completely self-service hotel, an irresponsible one. The hotel offers luggage storage, but it must be retrieved by 8 PM on the day of check-out. Today, I checked out and left my luggage at the hotel. I arrived at 7:30 PM to retrieve it, but the gate code had changed. This is normal, as it changes daily. I emailed and called the hotel, but received no response. I waited outside for an hour, waiting for other guests to return before I could get my luggage. I had to catch a 10 PM bus to Tokyo, and as of now, 10:20 PM, I still haven't received a response! If a guest hadn't returned to open the door, would I have stayed in Niigata? This is a hotel that neglects its guests. I advise everyone not to leave their luggage at the hotel, even if you're staying there. The risk is extremely high."
