Vang Vieng Hotels with Bars

The hotel is a little away from the city centre. Clean but not super neat. I stay there with kids which I found the place is not very suitable for me since they allowed their guest to use large speakers until 11 pm and it was in front of my tent. I told them to manage but I lastly need to get involve and confront them myself to sort it out. Not very well managed on this matter but they tried to do everything to apologize in the morning. The hotel was ok the view was exceptional only if they manage this a little bit better would be superb place to stay. [I stayed there late of the year it might be the party timing may or may not occur all the time of the year]

Marvelous views, absolutely stunning location. We were so blessed to spend 2 nights at this incredibly serene spot. 45min drive from vang vieng, this is in a very scenic and cozy corner of Laos largest lake. Very welcoming team, food served in the restaurant is great. Only 6 villas so it is absolutely serene and private. do give the team a call to pick you up over the last few hundred meters, as the water sometimes rises over the path Big recommendation for a romantic getaway.

Looking for a weekend getaway for the kids! Was super nice!! And well spent weekend together! Really recommend for those who need a healing time and quality time with their family.

Mad Monkey Vang Vieng has a fun and social atmosphere, and the staff are generally friendly and energetic. It’s a great place if you’re looking to meet new people and enjoy the party vibe. However, some areas could use improvement. The rooms and facilities can feel a bit worn, and cleanliness is inconsistent at times. Depending on when you stay, noise levels can be quite high especially from other visitors, even late at night, something to keep in mind if you’re hoping for rest. Overall, it’s a lively hostel with a strong social scene, but not the best choice if comfort and quiet are your main priorities.

Residing in the bungalow, such a nice place, everything was necessary, even asked the teapot and that gave without problems. Excellent location, near the night market, also not far from the cave and blue lagoon, there you can swim, jump from the tarzank and ride on the boat. Take a bike and look around, in Laos it's beautiful nature, people. The cars are driving neatly.

Nice basic hotel. Walkable to the town. Next door pool party can be a little noisy. Earplug do the trick 😆 Breakfast simple but OK. Staff helpful. Spacious room. Pillow might need to change as it is too soft. Kettle provide but the wall plug was too high. Overall OK for basic reasons

The stay was okay, but unfortunately the staff were not very friendly and didn’t even greet guests, which made me feel unwelcome. Also, the prices for renting a scooter were almost twice as high as at other places nearby. Overall, it was fine, but I expected a warmer atmosphere and fairer prices.

Nice location right next to the motorcycle bridge with views of the river and numerous crossings on that bridge. The pool was the star of the resort. The hot air balloons can be sighted in early evening as well, from their launch sight. Depending on the wind determines how close they may get. Nice rooms, great staff! I was very pleased. Great stay.

Breakfast was free and we had a very comfortable stay. Good location and very convenient. Recommended for backpackers

I really enjoyed the hotel. It gives me nostalgic experience of what old loas could look like. It is not the newest in town but generally clean, room is spacious, bed is comfortable and breakfast is nice. It has best view of the vang vieng mountains. ( the same view as Amari and Intira) and location is so easy to get around What love best about the Hotel is they care about environment! It is in the way they do, not corporate green washing. Water refill stations every floor, no plastic when it isn’t needed, I approved!!! And staying here, we are supporting local business ( I think?) overall, I am glad we choose this hotel.
