Stayed in countless hotels in Phuket and nearby islands, this hotel should be the most cost-effective. I visited over a weekend with my wife and three daughters. We booked a family beach villa and had a beautiful stay. Please note, that for those who are sensitive to mosquitoes, the rooms are infested with them. The property does their best in providing repellents of different types but good to know ahead of time. Also, to note, the family villa is one large open room with two king beds; perfect for families with small kids but not for two couples. The property’s access to the beach is ideal. We experienced the complimentary kayaking, and our long boat ride came to pick us up right off the private beach. The gardens, the swimming pool (1.2mtr), and the beach access makes It ideal for families with young children.

The view is beautiful and the room is very spacious, although the property is quite old. The staff provided excellent service. The breakfast was delicious and came in generous portions. It’s à la carte, but you can order more if it’s not enough. I’ll definitely come back and stay here again.

This is a good hotel where every room is on the pool. Breakfast was good with lots of choices except, no pork. The island of Yao Yai is predominately muslim, so pork isnt offered. Great sunsets, good restaurants close and good massage places too. Motorbikes are available so you can tour the island and see all the different beaches. Taxis to and from the piers are offered and the speed boats to and from the islands are inexpensive. The sunsets here are awesome.

Pros: Excellent beachfront location with beautiful views. Guests can walk down to explore marine life and mangrove forests at low tide. The bungalows offer high privacy. The layout of the accommodation is interesting, with handcrafted details in the decor, providing a sense of tranquility and closeness to nature. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the linens are of good quality, the air conditioning is new and cool, and there is a smart TV. The bathroom has separate toilet and shower areas. The swimming pool is located next to the beach. Cons: The hotel is far from the main pier, requiring a 25-minute motorbike ride. Restaurants around the hotel are quite difficult to find. During the stay, there was only 1 staff member providing service. The cafe in front of the hotel was closed. The hotel restaurant has a limited menu and a 1-hour wait for food. Facilities such as the beach bar were in a state of disrepair. Many rooms were closed and in a state of disrepair.

I recently stayed at Niramaya Villa & Wellness, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, always ready to assist with booking boat trips and providing useful information about the island. The room we stayed in was huge, offering plenty of space for families with kids, which made our stay comfortable. One of the highlights was the private pool in our villa, complete with an outdoor shower—such a luxury! Despite the premium feel of the villa, the price was very reasonable. This combination of luxury and affordability makes me want to return again in the future.

My stay at this hotel was really good, the room was very big and spacious, the bathroom was clean and also spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I always felt like they were willing to help whenever I asked. The breakfast was amazing, plenty of options and there was always everything available whatever time I went, there were 2 X bread stations so no waiting, eggs were cooked fresh however you wanted, bacon, beans, ham, a variety of cheeses, yogurts with many fresh fruits, even sushi 😯 there was Also options to have hot cooked food, stir-fry, noodles, steamed vegetables,need I say more. The grounds around the hotel were very well kept, clean and tidy, the pool area had sunbeds available and also sunbeds on the beach area too, always available. My time here was very relaxing and even though there were families with children it was not so noisy, if you would rather prefer to have an adult only stay somewhere then make this not your choice.

Such lovely people and they gave us a free tea on arrival which was lovely! The cabins where so big and you felt like you where in your own jungle close to the sea! Restaurant was right on the sea with a Thai feel with amazing food choice. You can rent scooters from the hotel and explore the island! This was one of our best places to stay in Phuket!

The amenities are very basic. There's no hot water. It's suitable if you plan to explore the island and just sleep in the bungalow. You can also relax during the day, there's air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and they prepare breakfast. If you go up behind all the bungalows, you get a beautiful view of the garden and the sea, and monkeys jump in the trees – I've attached photos. The location is decent if you have a scooter. Without one, the beaches are quite far.
