AAnonymous UserWe upgraded to have breakfast for $60. The hotel upgrade is to executive and free appetizer. So we got 4 free appetizers for free. Perfect location in downtown Houston. We”ll stay again next time. Their breakfast are really good as well

KK. JonesyThe young man that checked me in was unbelievably nice. The hotel room is huge as well as the bathroom. There are many restaurants located close by and the highways were easily accessible. There is a parking deck that you have to swipe in and out of but luckily I was offered free parking since it was my first time to Houston.

No free water , but have tap water at Gym at level 1
Toothbrush should have but when I there , out of stock , very surprise and have to buy from supermarket at own cost , so cross finger for that
Gym is tiny but enough for daily workout
Breakfast simple but very good for health
House keeping is not by daily but upon request , surprise me again

鹏鹏叔叔Due to hurricane Beryl, the original booked hotel was out of power supply. We called Marriot and they confirmed everything was OK there. The hotel was closed to the airport, just several minutes by subway. The room was clean. We had a good sleep after the 14-hour flight. Breakfast OK.

NNickMy experience here at The Sam is always amazing. The staff is very welcoming, knowledgable, and they take the time to get to know you. Staying here makes me feel like I don't even want to leave after being here for a weekend or a night. Facilities are clean and highly operable as well. All in all for my wife and I we give this place a 10/10. I book the same room every time we want to get away, and for this holiday season we decided to get rid of the kids and enjoy ourselves!

GGuest UserThe overall stay was ok. However the bar being closed over the Weekend was very poor. Pool closed because of seasonal issue. There were hardly any staff members around for any assistance. WiFi was there but not explained anywhere.
I now understand why President Trimp wants to change the water pressure for showers. That should be called a rain mist washing facility, not really a shower.
Once in a while the elevator did not work.
The price was ok. It was generally very quiet.
I would come again. Just would nor expect anything extraordinary.

SStaisha AlexanderStayed at this little gem for one night found it last minute before my trip to Houston I really liked the decor of the hotel it’s also in a great location, I tried to check in an hour early and that didn’t go as planned other than that valet parking the restaurant and room was well worth it

MMary McGeheeI don’t know why this hotel has so many bad reviews. I just stayed here with my toddler and it was perfect for us. It was very clean. The rooms were a great size and the location was perfect. The room was decorated so cute. We loved it. The only negative thing I will say was that the elevator was very slow and only one of them weren’t. But other than that, I would definitely stay at Rusk house again
