Monmouth County Hotels with Bars

From the moment we arrived, Asbury Ocean Club Hotel exceeded every lofty expectation we had set. George and Neil welcomed us with genuine warmth, handling our bags effortlessly and walking us through the property with the kind of thoughtful orientation that makes a guest feel instantly at home. That same care echoed across every corner of the hotel. Our Dune Suite was beautifully appointed, blending modern design with quiet comfort, the perfect retreat after long days by the shore. The pool deck offered sweeping ocean views, the workout facilities were pristine and well equipped, and the drawing room felt like a serene escape, ideal for a quiet morning coffee or an evening unwind with a book. Dining was a true highlight. The bar delivered outstanding cocktails crafted with precision, and the Mother's Day menu stood out as a memorable culinary experience, beautifully plated and full of seasonal flavor. Service throughout was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Asbury Ocean Club delivers genuine five star hospitality in a setting that feels both refined and refreshingly relaxed. We left already counting down to our next visit, and we cannot recommend it more highly.

The location is only 20 minutes from sandy hook island and long branch beach, and it is convenient to drive. The hotel is very clean, the front desk and staff are friendly and welcoming, and overall feel comfortable. There is a happy hour in the bar in the afternoon, and the snacks are very affordable. The floor-to-ceiling glass and sea view of the room and restaurant is very good, very bright and refreshing!

This was our second stay here. Hotel now has refrigerators in the units and ice machines on every floor. The loud club type pool music didn’t suit the audience which was mostly families and people trying to relax,. A bit expensive given parking is not included. Not sure we would stay here again unless going to a concert at Stone Pony.

first room I booked was beautiful.. just like the picture.. but so hot.. the temp never went below 74 degrees.. I read the reviews and others complained about the air conditioner as well.. i said maybe I get a good room with no problem.. I went downstairs sweating make up burning my face and told the lady and she moved me to a different room immediately.. the next room was gourgeous as well buttt!!!!! the act temperature did not move pass 72 degrees ... was a horrible night for me .. my asthma cut up bad.. sweating and poor air quality dusty room and carpets need shampooing.. i brought my asthma machine thank God or I wouldv had to to er.. had to ask for amenities microwave etc.. pool close at 6pm and no breakfast not even a bag breakfast.. I even had to pay for Wi-Fi.. the lady at the desk said they email me about my stay but I'm still waiting. was a horrible stay.. had to kill a killer gnat chased me and my daughter around the room wanting our food.. coughed so much from that no air conditon.. poor air quality.. dirty filter in AC unit and carpet that need shampooing that i threw up and just waited for check out.. left sweating make up into my eyelids!!! underarms and shirt was drenched..this was two weeks ago!!

The front desk is very nice, every time I come to live in their home, the pool gym is also great, there is a restaurant downstairs is very convenient. There is costco opposite, there is a Chinese supermarket in five minutes by car, all kinds of restaurants are very good
