Monmouth County Hotels with Breakfast

From the moment we arrived, Asbury Ocean Club Hotel exceeded every lofty expectation we had set. George and Neil welcomed us with genuine warmth, handling our bags effortlessly and walking us through the property with the kind of thoughtful orientation that makes a guest feel instantly at home. That same care echoed across every corner of the hotel. Our Dune Suite was beautifully appointed, blending modern design with quiet comfort, the perfect retreat after long days by the shore. The pool deck offered sweeping ocean views, the workout facilities were pristine and well equipped, and the drawing room felt like a serene escape, ideal for a quiet morning coffee or an evening unwind with a book. Dining was a true highlight. The bar delivered outstanding cocktails crafted with precision, and the Mother's Day menu stood out as a memorable culinary experience, beautifully plated and full of seasonal flavor. Service throughout was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Asbury Ocean Club delivers genuine five star hospitality in a setting that feels both refined and refreshingly relaxed. We left already counting down to our next visit, and we cannot recommend it more highly.

The location is only 20 minutes from sandy hook island and long branch beach, and it is convenient to drive. The hotel is very clean, the front desk and staff are friendly and welcoming, and overall feel comfortable. There is a happy hour in the bar in the afternoon, and the snacks are very affordable. The floor-to-ceiling glass and sea view of the room and restaurant is very good, very bright and refreshing!

My check in and room were perfect by the absolutely lovely front desk woman who works 7pm when I checked in I wish I remembered her name… the very next day, I was overcharged $50 by a morning front desk employee who informed me they were “ sold out” and my “ only option would be to book through her” and she accepted 200 CASH “as long as I did the $25 deposit on a credit or debit card in my name”…. I was pressed for time and simply believed what I was being told in good faith as I’ve had never had an issue w a Hilton property over reservation charges and I am a Honors member for many years and much travel… suffice to say… I found availability for that night hours later when I had the time to review and attempt to book my third night…. Rooms were still(!) available online at rates lower that the 224 I was charged …. Third night I saved over fifty dollars by booking on Third party…. My suggestion is that prospective travelers Book Prior to stay and not reserve at front desk… this is common knowledge, but to tell me they were SOLD oUt and she was “ doing me a favor by extending my stay and allowing me to pay cash “( or perhaps ripping off both me and perhaps Hilton hotels ? I’m speculating on that… wish she had been accurate on my options if not outright LIE …. And I do not want to take Anything away from the great exp I had at check in ….the hotel is very comfortable without being modern in that way that NYC boutique hotels are… I find that sp**** mod look for hotel rather cold and pretentious…. Great smart TV w all access a clean room and all the amenities are what make this hotel a must if traveling to the area… just look thru Google hotels to find ur Very best rate .. and enjoy! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. I loved that the hotel is 21+, which creates a peaceful, upscale, and relaxing atmosphere. The room was beautiful, clean, and stylish, with two very comfortable beds and an open porch overlooking the beach. Sitting on the bed and watching the waves was amazing, and at night the sound of the ocean put me to sleep so comfortably. Great coffee in the room, excellent bath products, a nice bar, and a perfect location next to Salt Restaurant. I truly felt relaxed, well taken care of, and refreshed. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Location was perfect for a long weekend. Amenities could use upgrades, but peaceful and clean.

Staff always very accommodating and available. We tend to stay during holidays and you would think the staff would be less than happy to be working during this time but they were warm and friendly.

This hotel is impeccable, the only issue is the entire hotel stinks Like weed to the point its nauseating. And I usually don't hate the smell, but overkill here. They take such pride in this hotel I can't believe they'd allow it. If I was the manager I'd kick anyone smoking out. There's balconies that can be used in each room to smoke on. The hotel is really really beautiful like a boutique hotel. Great breakfast as well.

Excellent. Best hotel I have ever stayed at, and I can be a little picky. Staff were friendly, manager accomodated a room upgrade for me for more space. Free breakfast was good. Hotel was spotless. Location was great, close to everything, but also quietly situated. I love that the room had a kitchen. It was a great stay.

This was our second stay here. Hotel now has refrigerators in the units and ice machines on every floor. The loud club type pool music didn’t suit the audience which was mostly families and people trying to relax,. A bit expensive given parking is not included. Not sure we would stay here again unless going to a concert at Stone Pony.
