Beach Hotels in Wyong

I stayed for two nights, and the first night was perfect. On the second day, the temperature hit 39 degrees Celsius, and the air conditioning wasn't working. Since there were no screens on the windows, we couldn't open them to keep the numerous flies out. The maintenance staff couldn't fix the AC and just gave us four fans. Then we discovered the dishwasher wasn't working either, so I had to handwash a huge pile of pots and pans, sweating profusely in the heat. However, the hotel staff were incredibly polite and apologized for not being able to move us to another room, offering complimentary breakfast instead. I would still consider staying here again if I have the chance.

The room is clean and tidy, there is free parking, breakfast with bread, milk and juice, etc. It is about 500 meters to the Great Lake, and it is very close. There are three long boardwalks over the Great Lake. Watching the sunset is a good place.

Just a bed. It was clean however in need of renovating.

Convenient, large, clean and affordable motel with easy parking. There are several shops selling food nearby too. Although the general infrastructure is old, the maintenance and especially cleanliness, is excellent. Suitable for overnight stay for people driving towards Newcastle from Sydney (or vice versa).

Hotel is walking distance to the beach, plaza, children park. But it’s very old and needs urgent renovation. The room was spacious, clean and beds were fine. The bathroom was clean but have very old fittings. Shower taps were very hard to turn on, knobs were falling off in doing so and took us a while to operate and when we managed to turn that in, it started making very loud noise. Bath tub is small. Some of the ceiling cornice were falling off from the bathroom. There wasn’t any microwave in the room, bar refrigerator is an old model frost ones, the hairdryer was an ancient one, making loud noise and the other side of the hairdryer was broken. It was a bit unsafe to use. No tissue box, bin was available either.
