Opfikon

Don’t stay here in summer it’s absolute hell. It doesn’t have any working air con regardless of what they say and the room is 28-30c at night! The hotel owners need to spend a few million euros overhauling the entire system and it’s obvious they won’t ever do that
Sadly because of this the front desk staff bare the brunt of complaints therefore creating a toxic work environment the room itself is nice but sadly would never book again during summer months

It would be good to know that the city of Cologne charges a high city tax in addition to the accommodation price, which has to be paid upfront at the front desk. The invoice is only provided after check-out. The internet was overloaded and didn't work, making the in-room tablet useless. The staff could only offer standard apologies like 'I'm sorry.' The price was outrageous for what was offered! It's an outdated 3-star hotel with a tiny TV. The coffee was from the cheapest instant powder. The towels need to be replaced; they're completely worn out, even after multiple changes. Next time, I'll stay in a better hotel and give the exorbitant price difference to a taxi driver instead.

Good bathroom amenities by rituals like essential by Dorint is providing in ritual of Jing,

Bedding was comfortable and staff was overall trying to be attentive and was generally friendly.

Within 10 minutes by public transport one is at main attractions at Rudolph Platz.

Upscale Dorint Hotels restaurant offers like the venue linked bistro is within reach to essential by Dorint and appears to be outsourced, yet within 2 minutes walk accessible.

Would recommend!

Junior suite was perfect in size with great views on the Rhine river.
Room was serviced only every 2 days which I thought was good from an environmental point of view.
Only comment is was that coffeecapsules were only 2 and that there was no stocked minibar

The hotel is near the forest and the air is very fresh! The facilities are very new and every place is cleaned very clean! The breakfast buffet is awesome! The handsome guy at the front desk is very enthusiastic! Must be five-star praise

We were very satisfied. There is pickup service from railway station to hotel without booking before. All service people are very nice. Hotel rooms were clean and practical. Tellers, bedding, pot and pan are all there. Microwave too. The thermal bathroom is top, right salty water. We have also used the fitness well. I can imagine to come again. Breakfast cost 24 euros, also my 12-year-old daughter. It was OK, not overcome for these prices nevau but also ncit bad. I miss luchs.

The service was exemplary ... Previous, lovely, always friendly 😃

Rooms very nice, atmosphere from the hotel pleasant, quiet and family- or dog friendly. Dog may be with breakfast and to restaurant 😍
