CChichidechiFacilities: A great hostel, it's been a while since I've stayed in one, and it brought back good old memories. The rooms are in the back courtyard, very quiet, and there's a bar in the front courtyard where you can socialize. The price is also reasonable. Cleanliness: Very good, very clean. Environment: Great, the transportation nearby is very convenient, and it's also very close to the attractions. Service: Classic hostel style, everyone is very nice and approachable. Next time I come to Qufu, I'll definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserWhat a spectacular experience! I don’t normally go out of my way to leave reviews, but this place earned it. The location is perfect, as you are only a couple hundred meters from the entrance to the Temple of Confucius. The premises are clean and spacious. The hotel immerses you in Chinese culture. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and give great advice. Also, the dinner is excellent! If you are visiting Qufu, it doesn’t get better than this!

GGuest UserThere is no one of the most recommended hotels near Nishan The hotel is very new. The service staff are simple and enthusiastic. The hotel restaurant was a particularly pleasant surprise. I went there with the intention of having a farm meal. But the ingredients are very fresh and the dishes are very exquisite. The room service is also very attentive. The room also has a tea room, projector and bathtub. It's been a long time since I stayed in a hotel where the service environment and food exceeded my expectations. GGuest UserOlder hotel, but still in pretty good condition. Nice quiet location. Breakfast OK. Must have the strongest coffee in China. Still, hotels providing toast without butter or margarine is a bit of a bugbear of mine, but a minor problem nonetheless. Shout out to the staff at this place who were all attentive, helpful and wonderfully pleasant. This hotel is about 1500m due South of the old town South Gate. To get to the hotel from the fast train station, take bus K01 (¥1) and get off at Datong Lu. Turn right for a hand made noodle restaurant at the intersection. Across the road is a popular McDonald's, and downstairs from that is a fully stocked supermarket. The 'san kong' sights start at the South Gate where you buy your thru ticke int. The temple and mansion are very interesting, and expect crowds. ¥7 for a Didi to the South Gate. The cemetery where 100k Kong people are buried is worth a look for the Confucius burial area. This area is only a 500m walk from the entrance. The whole wooded area is large, but you can skip the bus tour as they only stop at the main site anyway, and drive like Fangio through the rest. A slow three wheel open trike cost ¥10 back to the hotel

QQuyuanhangvThe hotel staff were very friendly, and the parking attendant was also very welcoming. The front desk even gave me a special gift from Qufu when I checked out, which was a nice touch to remember the city by. The hotel's location is fantastic, right near the Three Confucius Sites and a pedestrian street. While the room decor showed a little wear and tear and wasn't spectacular, and the bathroom was a bit small, and the elevator felt a little cramped, none of these minor points affected a good, restful stay.

Service: No hot water for showers, especially in the dead of winter! They said it was broken and under repair on the first evening, but there was still no hot water by morning. The hotel showed no apology whatsoever, acting as if it were their due. Breakfast was also mediocre; nothing special. Better to just find a random breakfast shop outside and have a bowl of wontons. Besides being very close to the Confucius Temple, it has no other advantages.

JJon19The hotel was great. Very comfortable and modern. It was warm and clean. The music that plays when you take a shower is really nice. We didn’t have a window in our room but it wasn’t a problem. The room had a good air filter and it didn’t smell musty or smoking at all. The location was good in that it was close to the Confucius Temple and our stay included free tickets to see the 3 Confucious sites.

BBotinichWe specially chose to stay in Chufu to pay our respects to the Great Confucius. It was a must-visit to see his temple, mansion house, and tomb. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the temple and mansion house. There are also plenty of super markets and cafes. Getting to the hotel was a breeze — a direct bus from the rail station took us there, and the fare was just a 1 yuan! The room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay pleasant. If you’re planning a visit, this is definitely a spot worth considering for a deeper dive into Confucian culture!
