After scouring Trip.com, I found this hotel with incredible value for money! I stayed here for all five nights in Qufu, and it was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. I had checked out a few other places before deciding on this one. The accommodations are fantastic. There's a beautiful, well-lit courtyard in the center, and sunlight streams into the bedroom as soon as you open the door. The bedding was very clean, and I especially appreciated the excellent drinking water setup. The room has a direct-drinking dispenser that provides boiling water in three seconds, so no worries about kettle hygiene. The soundproofing in the bedroom is great, and even the curtains are double-layered, which is super friendly for those sensitive to light. I also highly recommend booking a room with a small balcony! It doesn't cost much more, and the room is huge, the bed is super big, and it even has a projector! For the same price, staying here is simply amazing! When you don't feel like going out, you can head to the bar and lounge area downstairs. They have billiards, karaoke, board games, and you can grab a drink – they have it all. According to the owner, the hostel has been operating for many years, and he even showed me a thick guestbook. If you're interested, you can flip through it and leave your own message. On the first day of my check-in, a kind front desk lady assisted me, and the owner helped me with my luggage. The overall stay was superb, and the hotel staff are very friendly. You can tell the owner if you need anything. If I get a chance to visit Qufu again, I'll definitely stay here! Regarding the location: Yan Temple is right across the street, making it one of the three closest hotels. To get to the snack street or Confucius Temple, you just need to scan a shared bike at the entrance, and you're there!

Good location & near to Temple of Confucius. Friendly owner extended warm hospitality during our stay. eventually we did extend 1 more night & continued exploring the beauty of Qufu. Maybe I can't see anything, but there is really nothing to see. I think a few trees are a little older, but we still have to be in awe of the sage Confucius, and there are scenic spots. I recommend buying the gadgets next to it. The electric rickshaw that costs 10 yuan for two people can still be used. The horse-drawn carriage has a bad smell and there are too many people. But the aunties like it better. The key is that the pony looks good. It’s hard work. The horse’s hooves are clattering and it feels like a horse-drawn carriage. It also adds a little bit of income to them. There are many students studying abroad. I recommend eating. I don’t know if this counts as advertising. I don’t know if you can chat with me privately. Back to the hotel, there are windows, but outside the windows are narrow and dirty courtyard walls. You can imagine that no wonder the curtains are drawn. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with a smart speaker, and the bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and they provide hand soap, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, which all smell quite pleasant.

The hotel staff were very friendly, and the parking attendant was also very welcoming. The front desk even gave me a special gift from Qufu when I checked out, which was a nice touch to remember the city by. The hotel's location is fantastic, right near the Three Confucius Sites and a pedestrian street. While the room decor showed a little wear and tear and wasn't spectacular, and the bathroom was a bit small, and the elevator felt a little cramped, none of these minor points affected a good, restful stay.

Even inside my room, it smelled strong odor of tobacco which was unpleasant. 🧹 : cleanliness is average and could be improved as I found some ashes and one or two peels of sunflower seeds. 🥞 Breakfast served is Chinese cuisine, very rich and delicious. Very much liked it ! Nice music during shower time which is put automatically. Good quality bed, very enjoyable sleep. Overall nice service from people working there.
