Wow, where to begin. My husband and I brought our 3 year old to Mallorca after moving half way across the world. It was our first break from craziness in a year, and we were lured by the direct flight from our city to visit Mallorca for a week after Christmas. I found the Elba Sunset after doing a bit of research on where to stay on the island. First, and most importantly, I want to say an immeasurable thank you to the entire staff of the Elba. When I say, I could not have imagined how relaxing, joyful, kind, thoughtful, and generous the staff of this establishment could be, I mean it. They are all truly, truly amazing. (Apologies in advance if names are spelled incorrectly!).I specifically want to thank Marta, Elise, Adrian, Christiane, Henry, Paula, Pedro, the whole cleaning staff, and truly every person I encountered there, for making this vacation, one we really desperately needed, so wonderful. Our son Hugo was embraced and coddled by everyone he met, and was completely accepted and showered with love wherever we went in the hotel. Speaking of the hotel. We were there in the off season, and I cannot recommend it enough. The stunning location, the sun, the bright spacious room with a beautiful sea view, the pool (albeit freezing...not that my husband and son cared!), the spa, and the restaurant overlooking the water. 100 out of 10 for the people who make the Elba Sunset the magical place that it is. Much love xx

I arrived at hotel on8/9/25 for a 7 night stay it looked good on advert but don't recall ever seeing it . I used to go to Santa Ponsa very very regular but been some years since there .
Its location for a start is just superb . You're walkable to everything . Beach is a bout 200 yards away .
Anyway nice walkway up to door and lovely reception area showing also lovely large dining area to right and again lovely large bar lounge area to left . Young lady at reception warm and welcoming and patient with me ( I have a little voice disability) .
My room was on first floor so apart from taking my suitcase up I never bothered using the two lifts during stay .
My room had two single bed together both good dimensions excellent toilet and shower room to all this and hotel itself lovely and clean . My room did not have sea view but the majority do .
Believe me I had a good wee time on that wee holiday and the hotel made it . Thank you .
Cheers. DONALD .

The room was excellent, facing the sea and allowing for sunrise views. We booked a half-board package, which included breakfast and dinner, and it was excellent value for money. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we were to return to Mallorca.

Hotel Bendinat in Mallorca is one of those rare gems that feels like a home away from home. Having stayed here multiple times over the years, I can confidently say that it offers a perfect blend of understated luxury, Mediterranean charm, and tranquility.
The location is simply unbeatable—perched right on the coastline, with stunning views of the turquoise waters of the Bay of Palma. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea is something I look forward to every time I visit. The hotel’s lush gardens, with their towering palm trees and cozy lounge areas, create an atmosphere of total relaxation.
The rooms are elegantly designed in a classic Mediterranean style, with whitewashed walls, wooden accents, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Many of them come with private terraces, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening. While the décor is timeless, the hotel has managed to maintain a fresh and well-kept feel over the years.
One of the highlights of every stay is dining at Las Terrazas de Bendinat, the hotel’s restaurant. Sitting right by the sea, it offers some of the best seafood dishes on the island. Their paella and grilled fish are a must-try, and the service is always warm and attentive. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a long, leisurely lunch with a view of the shimmering water.
Another reason I keep coming back is the atmosphere—Hotel Bendinat is peaceful, refined, and never overcrowded. Unlike larger resorts, it maintains a boutique, exclusive feel. Whether you’re lounging by the pool, taking

A family of four booked two rooms on the first floor facing the street. It was quite noisy at night. After one night, we discovered the balcony door was broken and wouldn't lock. We were out all day, so luckily, nothing was lost. Pros: Convenient location, right on the beach, plenty of delicious restaurants nearby, and a lively evening stroll. Breakfast was plentiful. Cons: Poor amenities. The Wi-Fi didn't work for three days. The room smelled. At least one of our rooms wasn't cleaned. The hotel has no front desk, and the housekeeping service was mediocre. We hope to see improvements in service and amenities.

Freddie AtchisonEasy check in. Perfect location. Wonderful views from the sea facing rooms. Very close to Magalluf Strip but also within walking distance of bars and restaurants of Palmanova. Bit of a steep hill in front of the hotel, but manageable if mobile. Food and drinks in the hotel of good quality and reasonably priced. All staff are very friendly and accommodating, particularly Ian, the manager, who makes a point of speaking with every resident during the day, around the poolside. Resident DJ plays chilled tunes all day beside the pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel for adults of all ages, and will definitely return again soon. Thank you.

I really like the room leading directly to a small garden. The weather is very good and the hotel public area is also very beautiful. It seems that there is a door at the end of the large garden that leads directly to the beach. There is a road along the sea for a leisurely walk.

Location:
The area is very quiet, which was lovely for relaxing. There's a bus stop just a minute's walk away, and buses run frequently, making it easy to get around. There are also a few local shops and restaurants nearby, which was convenient.
Hotel Staff:
The receptionists were absolutely lovely warm, welcoming, and caring from the moment I arrived. The cleaners were also friendly and did a great job. However, my room was located right opposite the cleaners’ cabinet on floor 4, and they would start slamming doors around 7 AM, which disturbed my sleep.
Room Experience:
My air conditioning wasn’t working when I first arrived, but it was fixed within 30 minutes by the generator technician, which I appreciated.
Restaurant & Food:
The restaurant staff on the last floor level especially the waitresses, were sometimes a bit too pushy, and a few would finish their personal conversations before serving( a bit unprofessional.) The restaurant food was a letdown. I ordered a pizza for €10, but it looked nothing like the photo and was highly disappointing.
On the flip side, breakfast was a standout plentiful, delicious, and beautifully presented. I’ve never had such a generous breakfast at a hotel. The breakfast staff were also amazing and attentive. Well done to them!
Facilities:
The swimming pool was great, and if you love swimming in the sea, this is the place for you beautiful access and views.
Solo Travel Notes:
I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're a solo traveler looking to meet people. Most of the guests seemed a bit unfriendly, and as an ethnic minority, I experienced a few uncomfortable stares. This isn't the hotel's fault necessarily,.

Great location in the second row from the beach. The highlight is the infinity pool on the roof. With a glass bottom and a view of the sea. However, the pool is not heated. The breakfast offered a lot of choice. Both international and Spanish dishes were available. For our taste, however, it was far too sweet. The artificial juices in particular were almost undrinkable. The standard room with a balcony and a view of the city. Not huge, but pleasantly furnished. With a wide bed, open wardrobe, microwave and free mini-bar (water, juices, refilled daily). Not a luxury hotel, but overall highly recommended...!!!
