"We had a pleasant stay at Travelodge Canterbury. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed after a day of exploring.
The location is very convenient. It’s within walking distance of Canterbury city centre, so we didn’t need to drive to visit Canterbury Cathedral, explore the historic streets, or enjoy the local restaurants and shops.
The staff were friendly, and check-in was quick and easy.
One thing to note is that there is no lift, so if you’re travelling with heavy luggage or have limited mobility, it’s worth requesting a ground-floor room if possible.
Overall, Travelodge Canterbury offers great value for money and is an excellent base for exploring this beautiful historic city."

The room is in the family room on the top floor. The narrow stairs are bent around the room. The big box is not lifted. Parking is in the parking lot opposite the hotel. From 21:00 to 7:00 in the evening, 2 pounds all night, other times 2.7 pounds/hour, the first floor of the hotel is a restaurant bar, the young lady who stayed in is very enthusiastic, The location is right by the river, very close to the cathedral, go left and right to go to the central area very quickly, Canterbury is very comfortable to walk in the morning and evening, there are several choices for breakfast, order in person, and do delicious.

Great hotel in the grounds of Canterbury cathedral. We stayes in the value rooms with 40 steps to the room but it didn't feel like 40 steps, at all and not tiring. Amazing breakfast selection. Not mass buffet. Good selection to choose from, fruit yoghurt, crossaints etc plus you can choose from fried breafast, egg benedict, salom and scrambled egg, egg florentine etc are all made to order. Plus your drinks. We had a relaxing time in the lounge in the evening and enjoyed a nice hot chocolate. Free admission to the cathedral for 2 of us was a bonus. Would have cost £19.50 each. Lovely and helpful staff on reception. Will definitely stay again.

The room was too cold and there was no air conditioning. There are no disposable items such as slippers, toothbrushes. The cafe is close to the roadside with a good view

Second time staying here and it was just as perfect! Staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well decorated, the bed is the best ever!! Will be coming back again. Highly recommended 🥰💕

Very conveniently located within walking distance form both the train station and the city centre. Breakfast is very good. Room is clean and spacious. Highly recommended and will definitely return if in Canterbury again

Hot strong shower, the room is clean except the carpet which is a bit filthy. Very good and speedy check in, but it's manned only in the am and evening. We returned at 11pm one night while the car park was all full. We had a bit of a headache

A small hotel with a sense of age, very clean and very warm. A small garden in the yard is very beautiful. The room has no air conditioning, and the bathroom is heated for a while at night, probably to make you not cold when you take a bath. The stairs in the old house are narrow and steep, and it is a bit difficult to carry the box. Breakfast is simple, no eggs, no vegetables.

Guest UserThe room is very good, safe, clean, and the breakfast is generous and suitable for children. Kent is beautiful, and Kent is like a big garden. The staff was also very polite and very satisfied.
