Minakami Hotels with Breakfast

This time, I stayed in a room with a private open-air onsen bath. The onsen quality here is very high; the spring water isn't heated, allowing you to soak while enjoying the view of Mount Tanigawa. The service was impeccable in every detail, including specially provided pajamas and decaffeinated roasted tea served at night. The next morning, you can also enjoy complimentary coffee while admiring Mount Tanigawa again.

A newly built modern hotel that comes with a private onsen in your balcony. Dinner with fusion which is not the usual for ryokan stays. You get to choose between Japanese or Western cuisine which we opt for Japanese and it was delicious! it's just a 6mins walk down to the Supermarket. Will definitely come back some day again!

Feel like home is an ancient ryokan hotel. But the inside looks clean and modern, the owner takes good care of it like a relative. There is a large public bath separate men and women. The room itself is spacious, not uncomfortable. If coming again, I will book here again. Recommended

This is my second time here, and it's close to Minakami Station, so it's perfect for a spontaneous solo trip to see the snow. The building is very spacious, but it's well-cleaned and a very clean inn. There are many foreign staff members, but they are well-trained and more friendly and polite than the average Japanese. The dinner and breakfast buffets are delicious, and the hot springs are very good, both in the private baths and the large public baths. I was worried that there would be a lot of foreign group tourists and that it would be noisy, but I got the impression that they were all well-mannered foreign tourists. I would like to come to this inn every year when it snows.
