We thought staying at Sen Retreat Takijiri was very good to start our Kumano Kodo journey. The Sen Retreat Chikatsuyu was even more impressive! Especially, after a long journey in the mountain, the hot pot and cold beer were so comforting! We can see everything details has been taken care of. The room was very clean. The landlady was kind and could communicate in Chinese using a translation software. I ordered her breakfast for 800 yen and it was very comfortable. I didn’t know what to choose from the meal. I just ate what she made and I was very satisfied. This B&B can pick you up from the station. I don’t speak Japanese, so I can only walk there. When I left, she drove me to the station. I liked it very much! The bus runs twice a day, and it’s difficult to take a taxi. The pick-up and drop-off is very pleasant.
