I had a wonderful stay here. The staff member was extremely kind—he welcomed me with a cold drink upon arrival and was very helpful throughout my stay. He sent me a list of great places to eat, have coffee, and activities to do around town, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, very clean, and located in a calm, quiet area. There is also a shared kitchen where you can cook your own meals, and a washing machine available if you need to do laundry. I felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend this place.

The most important thing to praise our personal butler ISHANKA, is definitely the best and most reliable butler I have ever encountered during my trip! Sincere and kind, hardworking, and meticulous service. Knowing my lover's work and rest only at noon, I specially tailored our snorkeling, surfing and other itinerary. The time is relaxed and orderly, and there is no need to hurry, and the play experience is particularly comfortable. What makes us remember more is an accident: when we go out to eat, our lover is accidentally scratched by the cat, and the situation is urgent. ISHANKA helped us contact the hospital as soon as possible. At that time, the rainstorm poured and the lightning thundered outside. He accompanied us with an umbrella throughout the whole process. He communicated with the doctor smoothly. He was busy with us from 8 o'clock in the evening to 1 o'clock in the morning. The whole process was intimately appeased and followed up. Help us successfully complete the rabies vaccination in time, really special responsibility. There is also the original third day of sea fishing trip, before departure, I noticed that the sea is about to usher in a storm, for our personal safety, decisively cancel the trip temporarily. This is the best place we stayed in during our Sri Lanka trip. The villa only has two guest rooms so it is so quiet and you are sharing the beautiful pool with only 2 other people at the most. The room is perfect, so luxurious, with views out over the lagoon. The food at the restaurant is divine. The villa is a lovely and leisurely hour walk up the beach or quick cheap tuk tuk ride to the main drag of Hikkaduwa. Highly recommend!!!! We will be back.

Checked into the hotel earlier (at 12) without any problems. Luggage was brought to the room and 2 smoothie glasses were brought. The view from the room is gorgeous, right on the ocean. There is a swimming pool under the window, which is cleaned every day. The beach is long, but the ocean is very rough, almost no one swims, but this is just right for me. To the right of the hotel, a couple of kilometers away, is the turtle beach, it is calm there and you can always see a family of turtles. Go, you will not regret it. In the morning we were lucky and the hotel staff let us release small turtles, very cute and emotional. Breakfast with a view of the ocean and the dinner at the hotel were delicious. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Comfortable, budget-friendly stay near the beach. Great value for money. Tamara Motels is a family-run establishment located on Galle Road in Hikkaduwa, just a short walk from the beach. The location is convenient—close to shops and restaurants. I loved the motel's design. I was surprised when the owner told me he built it himself! The room was clean and spacious, with modern amenities, a huge balcony, a nice bathroom, and a terrace overlooking the railway and the jungle. I slept really peacefully there. Even the sound of the train passing by was soothing. The family running the inn is incredibly kind and helpful.

Лучше не стоит заселяться сюда. Отель не стоит своих денег. Очень уставший, требует ремонта. Не работал сейф, не было посуды, не было халатов, сломанное освещение, муравьи, сломанные шторы, сломанные ручки дверей и замки. Не советую заселяться в этот отель. Фото отеля и комнат сделаны давно и не отражают его вида на данный момент.

Stayed at Coral Sands Hotel for 10 nights in July 2024. Excellent location, next to the hotel there is everything you need: beach, cafes, souvenir shops. The staff was responsive and promptly resolved any issue I had. The buffet and restaurant are excellent! The food is very tasty and varied. The room is comfortable with working air conditioning, the sea view is stunning. Overall, I was pleased with my stay and recommend it to everyone!

My husband and I loved everything! The location is great, the price is reasonable. The hotel is right on the beachfront, with direct ocean views from the courtyard! The room isn't a luxury suite, which is understandable—it's Sri Lanka. But the owner, his wife, and the entire staff really do their best to make you as comfortable as possible. They also speak very good English. We had no problems checking in either. Our room overlooked the Citrus Hotel courtyard—it's absolutely beautiful: a lawn, a pool, palm trees—a beautiful view!

We stayed there for 16 days. Housekeeping was provided at our request. The bed was comfortable and large, with an ocean view and a balcony with light, chairs, and a table where you can relax listening to the ocean. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The sheets and towels were clean, bright and white, without any stains. The entire staff was polite and always did their best to make our stay comfortable. For a 2-star hotel right on the ocean, I think this is a fair price and can recommend it. Please note that the description does not include a kettle, hairdryer, or mini fridge—and there won't be any. For those who need this, it's worth noting. All issues that arose were resolved promptly. As an exception, we were provided with a kettle.
