"This hotel is a gem! There is nothing like it in all of Caen! To these 2 Americans, it felt very Parisian. Incredible location, kind staff who spoke excellent English (which we needed), wonderful hospitality, and though not inexpensive, a very good value! Be prepared to be flexible about parking, but parking is not a problem. Just have to do on-street parking, which is free at night, nearby. Dozens of fabulous restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and shopping nearby. Walking distance to all of the sites!"

"My friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France."

"Filthy bathroom. Fecal matter on toilet roll and wall behind it. Dirty floor. Extremely hot room with no way to cool it. Room was directly across from the street from an electric vehicle bay charger. We had no choice but to keep the window open all night as it was so hot in the room. Not only could we hear the hum of the electric vehicle charger, but loud, obnoxious drunk people were stammering up and down the road back and forth to the McDonald's next door all night. They were yelling, screaming, and it was just extremely unpleasant. The hotel public toilet was right next to our room and there were men fighting and hollering in the bathroom at one point during and there was extremely uncomfortable as the hotel staff didn't step into do anything about it. We had absolutely no sleep."
