"The place is great overall, I love everything about it, but giving so much priority to foreigners by having a dinner schedule just for them, and excluding Spaniards, seems disrespectful to me. Dinner is from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, but Spaniards usually dine between 8:30 PM and 11:30 PM. I hope they'll also consider local tourism more."

"We have visited 4 other Zafiro hotels before deciding to try this one. Overall we had a great stay and there are many Zafiro quality points- the food and drinks are good quality with a good selection. The staff work very hard. There are a couple of points that need attention to ensure the hotel is as good as the other Zafiros. The main thing is the continuous dirty glasses. We constantly had to go through 5/6 glasses at breakfast, lunch and dinner until we found some that were clean. I do believe the glasses go through some sort of washer but it’s clearly not good enough. The pool areas aren’t cleaned as well as their other hotels. For example, in the morning there are cups etc left from the day before and we say chocolate that had been spilt and not cleaned up for several days. The food at the buffet was never labelled properly. It was really hard to know what was what and on one occasion food labelled as vegetarian had meat in it. The air con in rooms wasn’t very good, it worked but not as cool as we’ve experienced before. I have noticed that these points are recurring themes in other reviews so I hope management take note of this and sort these points as other Zafiros do not have these issues. The new restaurants are a great addition and the Italian was really nice. The food at the American was not as good and the steaks were not great quality. The entertainment team work really hard and are a credit to the hotel. The hotel is really big and was very busy but despite this, the staff managed well. Particular should out to Catalina who takes drinks orders in the evening. Overall it’s a great hotel but a few improvements needed."

"Check in took over half an hour to get our keys as we arrived late due to a delayed flight, Breakfast was good and spa was okay, the sauna was turned off when we wanted to use it"

"Amazing 🤩 stay, as always. This was our 5th time in this wonderful hotel, we go every year for our wedding anniversary. The customer service is superb, 👌 Christian, Alba, Carmen, Lucia and the rest of the food and beverage team are all superb, as well Ana Molina and her reception team. Can wait to see you all hopefully next year 🙂"

"Staff's friendliness made our holiday. Couldn't do enough to make us welcome and well looked after Rooms a bit small but beds really comfortable. Rooms cleaned every day. It was great to experience lots of different nationalities making an effort to communicate."

"For over €1500 I would not recommend this hotel. It's quiet an old hotel with bad wires hanging off the walls and plugs that don't work. We stayed in an hotel room with with 1 bedroom and 1 "living room". The AC was great in one room but non existent in the living room. The living room had 1 chair, 1 fridge and 1 table not what one expects from a living room. The balcony was quiet small with 2 chairs tak8ng up the entire balcony. The area is nice small walk to beach and pool that's across the road from the hotel. The receptionist named Vera was extremely helpful and really made a drab holiday a little better. One morning breakfast was finished at 10:15 I arrived at 10:10 thinking I will just run around with a big plate and grab a few breakfast items, only to be yelled at by tge breakfast lady who pointed to her watch saying "we must close, we need to clean the room, youre too late", i have never in any of my holidays been given out to. I have heard the other JS sol hotels are newer and better versions of this hotel, so maybe stay there instead of here."

"We were extremely looking forward to our trip to the Can Pickfort Beach hotel, the reviews were some of the best, so after some research we booked, I even emailed the hotel with some basic preferences, which they positively responded too, However, on arrival they had not done any of the preferences and the room was therefore changed, the side that we were on looked over a bar with a singer until 11pm and loud music till midnight if that wasn’t bad enough the vents from the kitchen vented out which you could smell fat from all day and night!! The room itself self was also very basic and the shower cubicle very small which was difficult to use and leaked over the floor, there was a bottle of body wash on the floor, no other soaps or tissues in the bathroom not the level of a 4 star property at all, be warned if you expect a higher standard, this is not that hotel. On booking in at the hotel it seemed very quiet, no noise or anything, around the pool is the same, it’s dead quiet and with an older clientele there are no activities or music, just nothing, it’s like the hotel has no soul or atmosphere, even on a night! The food, you are expected to stick to strict restaurant times, and herded in like cattle, breakfast 8-10, lunch 12.30-1.30, yes 1 hour!! and dinner 6.30-830. As you can imagine it’s rammed and not a pleasant experience, breakfast is by far the worst, if you’re English expecting a good English breakfast, forget it! It’s very busy and they run out of most things on a morning as there’s one cook cooking fresh eggs, lunch and dinner are full on meals, no snacks or anything quick to eat, oh yeah coffee and cake at 4pm, left over from lunch, not the high level expected with the cost of the holiday. SUN BED WARS, mad rush to bag a spot in the morning, yes very limited sun beds and umbrellas by the very small pool, there is more space but I think the hotel don’t want you staying on site, drinking and eating the profits, avoid if possible if you want a relaxing stay. The only bar is in the main building, a trek from the pool and beach, and not great either. If your English the hotel is catering for Germans and Eastern Europeans, no issues, but we were the only English speakers in the hotel. Compared to other 3 and 4 star hotels we have stayed in this one ranks very low in that order, even though we did our research, I can’t believe ALL the reviews on trip advisor being very positive as most of what I could pick up around the pool the other nationalities where complaining too about the same things. Just one last thing, this is NOT a kids hotel, there is nothing here for them to do, look for a kids hotel so you can enjoy your time away. On a positive note, it’s next to the beach and I think that is what they use to pull people in. So, if you’re looking for an over priced, basic 3 star with little or no amenities or atmosphere on site avoid and stay somewhere else."

"Absolutely Horrible hotel. No air con in any rooms, they gave us a fan that blew out hot air, no fridge in the room to even keep drinks cool. Ignorant staff, C’an picafort is beautiful, but this hotel is vile."
