B&B Hotel Donostia Aeropuerto
"Good sized and clean room. However, the room was very hot even when the windows were opened. It is a central system, and heating is turned on."
Leonardo Boutique Hotel San Sebastián
"It's a bit far from the city center, but not too far, which is a perfect distance. We didn't opt for breakfast."
PENSION TXINGURRI
"No in-person service. Out of 3 days, the room wasn't cleaned for 1. Breakfast is separate from the meal plan. Otherwise, everything was very good."
Livensa Living Studios San Sebastián
"Very helpful front desk staff and good living quarters"
Colo Colo Hostel - Single Private Beds
"Great place, spectacular. Highly recommended, the staff is very friendly."
Letoh Letoh San Sebastián
"This hotel is conveniently located. - 15 minutes by bus or 20 minutes on foot to San Sebastián's Old Town - 5-minute walk to the nearest beach - Supermarket right downstairs - 5-minute walk to a local dining street"
Downtown River Hostel
"Good service from the staff, professional. Super well located, centrally located, close to the bay, the beach and old part so very easy to move around the city and still be close to the accommodation. Agustin helped us very kindly to translate everything we needed. Everything clean as it should be. I would come back."
Olarain
"The room was large and they accommodated two adults and two children. The large bathroom. It has no luxuries but everything was functional and no detail was lacking. The beds were comfortable, the shower spacious, the closets large and well stocked, and a refrigerator in the room. The point to improve is that it does not have air conditioning although they gave us a fan since the room was very warm. Good value for money. Highly recommended."
Holiday Inn Express SAN SEBASTIAN - ERRENTERIA by IHG
"I really loved the breakfast and all the services they had, I just didn’t like that they didn’t provide room service regularly."

Pensión Régil
"We checked in an hour early. Filling out the guest registration form in advance will make everything go smoothly. I asked for a kettle, and they brought me not only that, but also tea and a bottle of water! Thank you very much. The room and bathroom are clean. The WiFi is fast. There are plenty of towels. You can even get a small view of the sea from the balcony. The area is full of cafes and shops. The beach is three minutes away. The shower stall is a bit cramped, though. You can fit a suitcase in the closet, but the doors won't close completely. It's tolerable. However, this room will be uncomfortable for those with a lot of luggage. It's fine for one person with a medium-sized suitcase."
32 de Agosto Rooms
"I was very disappointed by this last stay: having already been there last year, everything went really well and I really enjoyed the weekend, although we didn't see anyone at reception. This time, still no one at reception, the room was clean but nothing more (hair in the shower, stains on the sheets) and the door to the room no longer opened when we returned in the evening (opening with a code): we had to fight for more than an hour on the phone with the lady at reception (very unpleasant) who told us that we had the wrong code and that we would have to wait. She finally came after 1 hour 15 minutes of waiting in the entrance hall to bring us a key. Honestly I don't know if I will come back, although the location is really great"
Pension El Puerto
"It's conveniently located with many shops nearby. The price is reasonable, but you need to be aware that facilities like the bathroom and toilet are shared."
Hotel Atari
"I stayed here with my mother on a trip. When we opened the window in our room, the church appeared right in front of us, which was amazing!! The location was great for bar hopping, and the fact that we could easily return to the hotel in no time meant we didn't have to worry about restrooms, which can be a hassle when traveling abroad, was very reassuring. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, making our stay a pleasant one. Also, as other reviews have said, the breakfast was excellent! My mother said that the breakfast at Hotel Atari was the best of her trip. The only things that bothered me were the sewage smell from the restroom. The heating didn't work very well (although I might have set it incorrectly). Since it's located right in the middle of the bar district, it can be quite noisy at night (I could sleep despite the noise, so this didn't bother me, but it may not be to everyone's taste). But even taking those negative points into account, it was a great stay. If I visit San Sebastian again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel."
Leonardo Hotel San Sebastian
"A bit further out and requires a daily bus, however there's a bus stop right outside - how convenient! Do get the 10 trips rather than pay each time - I realised this option on my last day. The room is quite small despite the location, with a visible shower door to be mindful if you're sharing with a friend! In my opinion, the standard room is too small to share; but okay for a solo traveler. I'd probably recommend / look for something else next time, as I do not need the facilties such as the pool - the ocean is fabulous and not cold!"
Wecamp San Sebastián
"I was calling to the hotel reception many times to inform I made a mistake in the booking dates and nobody picked up the phone. I realized about this after the free cancellation period I know, but it's very sad not to find a solution considering is high season and they could have rent my room to other customers and I can have the money back to change the dates. I lost the money 😭."
Barceló Costa Vasca
"Excellent service and facilitoes."
Axel Hotel San Sebastián - Adults Only
"I stayed at Axel San Sebastián for a solo trip and was absolutely delighted by the warm hospitality and friendly vibes. My trip started with a bit of a crisis; I left my luggage on an intercity bus and had a restaurant reservation overlapping with the pick-up time. I was quite overwhelmed, but staff member Tanja was a true lifesaver. She went above and beyond to help me arrange the luggage pick-up and even communicated with the restaurant to reschedule my reservation. Thanks to her incredible support, the rest of my stay in Donostia was seamless and wonderful. The hotel itself is neat, modern, and has a very inviting atmosphere with a fabulous, stylish touch. I also thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi. Between the best service I've ever received and the great energy from fellow guests, I’m leaving Donostia with the best memories. Thank you so much, Tanja and the Axel team! 😊"
Akelarre - Relais & Châteaux
"Dirty dishes left in the room three days in a row. Laundry done improperly. Management is unequipped to offer solutions to any issue. They just apologize and seem baffled at the suggestion that their job is to actually deal with the problem."
Zenit San Sebastián
"It is a bit far from the center of San Sebastian!! Walking back and forth to the central area frequently might be a bit of a hassle!! It should be fine if you use public transportation. La Concha Beach is practically the city center, so it might be a bit difficult if the weather is hot!! Please keep this in mind when booking!! Everything else was fine!!"
Numad Studios
"Very clean and cozy, the staff is kind and helpful. The bus to the center is right next to the hotel, runs every ~10min, and takes about 25min. You can get a 6 or 12 -trip card from the reception, which is cheaper than individual tickets."
Catalonia Donosti
"The hotel room was quite large, with a super big bed. One of the hotel staff was very nice, but they accidentally took my luggage to another room, which startled me. Luckily, they retrieved it for me. There are a few parking spaces in front of the hotel, which saves you about twenty euros in parking fees, as there's an extra charge for the hotel parking lot. The hotel is very close to the nearby market and the beach."
Koba Hostel
"Good location and very seamless check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. The hostel allowed us to store our luggage at no extra charge, which was super convenient. Breakfast was okay. The only thing is that the shared bathroom could use a bit more attention to cleanliness, especially since it's used by around 10 people. Overall, though, it was quite a good experience!"
Pensión Astigarraga
"Very good accommodation for the amount paid. Service and customer friendliness are also very good. Face pan and location can be better . I am very happy I'm staying there for the third time. Hello ."
Sercotel Codina
"The room is not big, there is no kettle, it is best to bring your own, the bus stop is right at the door, it is convenient to travel, and it takes only five minutes to walk to the beach🏖️ Very convenient, and the price is cheap"
Hotel Avenida
"When choosing this hotel, I based my decision on the photos displayed on this and other websites, so I expected a nice room with a large window. The attic room we were given absolutely did not match the description. It was much smaller than stated, and had a very small, inconvenient window. The wardrobe was dirty, and the room smelled of paint! It was my birthday, and they refused to change our room. The breakfast was a complete disgrace. For 30 euros? That's just a rip-off. I do not recommend this hotel. I deeply regret this choice 😕. My mood was thoroughly ruined."
