"An amazing stay at this hotel!! It met our needs completely. We came in for a 2 day conference from Vancouver, BC & couldn’t have been happier with choosing the Best Western Cedar Place Hotel for our stay. The location was great. The staff were exceptional, humble, kind & receptive to our many requests that came up circumstantially. I haven’t experienced this level of client service in the hospitality industry for a very long time. Every single staff member we came across over the phone & in person was exceptional & overall our stay was an amazing experience! Thankyou again."

"Everything was good, the hotel is simple and not fancy, but the room was clean and nice. There were only a few little things that weren't that great. One was the breakfast. It was a little more sparse than I thought it would be (no real protein except for refrigerated boiled eggs that weren't great, and everything else was pretty much just fruit, and other carbs). T.V remote didn't work, and there also wasn't any conditioner in the bathroom (but there was shampoo, body lotion, and two nice mini Dove soap bars). Overall the stay was worth the low cost, good for a budget hotel."

"The breakfast was good enough. The location is close to almost everything and the staffs were great! They had a pool with a slide and it looked fun but we didn’t go because it was cold for us."

"Booked again, hoping for better service, but was disappointed. The front desk agent, Mainuddin, left me on hold for over 30 minutes when I simply asked about early check-in ; only to be told no. The funny thing is he forgot I was even on hold. I hope management takes time to train their staff. He was also the one who assisted me during my last stay, which was just as bad. No breakfast is provided, but Cora is nearby. I’ll be booking elsewhere next time, where I won’t be demeaned or have my time wasted. I also reminded the front desk multiple times that I needed a fridge and microwave in my room."

"Near South Common, a convenience location to access between Airport and Downtown. Would be better if there’s EV changing facilities."

"The room is very clean. There are indoor and outdoor parking lots. The hotel also provides free Western breakfast. The stay experience is very good."

"We booked the Argyll because of its proximity to the Saville center. We were attending a Curling camp that started early in the mornings. It was an eight minute drive to get there. The beds were awesome and comfortable, but the rooms were older and beaten up a little bit. The stay probably would’ve been fine except there was a rave at the bar attached to the mall that was half outside and it went until about 10:30 PM. It was super loud in the rooms. We also had a next-door neighbour that started his parties at one or two in the morning. Even after complaining the first night, they still left him in the room next to us for the next night. I got very little sleep for two nights in a row. The breakfast wasn’t much but fine anyway. There’s lots of free parking. And a few restaurants in the strip mall that the hotel is attached to. Some interesting clientele around, but it wasn’t scary or anything. Just not a good hotel for kids to be at or if you need to be up early in the morning. "

"It's clean and has a lot of space. It's enough to open all the suitcases. The only downside was that the shower gel was empty when we checked in. Since it was late at night, no one from customer service answered the phone. In addition, the sound insulation is not perfect but it is acceptable. You may need to wear earplugs to sleep."
