Discovery Lodge
"I was really, really satisfied. Thank you. The service and facilities were both great. The breakfast was also good"
Holiday Inn ESTES PARK by IHG
"I paid more than 2,000 per night for a riverside room, but I got a room with no view! The arrangement of the room is unreasonable. It's like a maze. It's so tiring to carry suitcases! Not recommended!"
Best Western Plus Silver Saddle Inn
"The room was OK for one night. Bed was almost too soft, like a hammock but the room was clean and there was a mini fridge, coffee and tea and a new flat screen tv. Chains had to be closed at all times since the window was facing the parking lot on the grind floor. Breakfast was very basic but the coffee was good, which is the most important thing."
Expedition Lodge Estes Park at Rocky Mtn National Park
"The location is good for visiting Rocky Mountain National park. The hotel staff is very helpful and there are restaurants and supermarket near the hotel . The hotel facilities are good."
Coyote Mountain Lodge
"Easy to play rocky mountain national park, good environment."
Trailborn Rocky Mountains
Alpine Trail Ridge Inn
"Very nice & great place to stay. Loves the vibes of the room."
Estes Mountain Inn
"The room is not large in size and basically meets the requirements for simple accommodation. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Regular continental breakfast can satisfy the hunger needs of most ordinary people. The hotel's sanitary conditions are good, and coin-operated washing machines and dryers are provided for guests' convenience at a low price ($1.75/$1.50). The on-site parking lot is convenient for guests to park, and the hotel's small swimming pool is convenient for children to play and adults to sunbathe by the pool."
Trailborn Rocky Mountains Outpost
"A hotel at the foot of the Rocky Mountains that offers great value for money; it seems to be newly renovated with modern facilities."

Taharaa Mountain Lodge
Quality Inn Near Rocky Mountain National Park
"The building has two floors and looks like a motel, but the rooms are like a normal inn. The breakfast area was a bit crowded, but the food was normal, except for the fried eggs. Each room has two chairs outside where you can sit and look at the snow-capped mountains, which is a small perk. There were only a few sheets of tissues in the room, and when we returned the next day, they hadn't been replenished. Basic cleaning was done."
Hotel Estes
"The streets near the hotel are very dark with few streetlights, making it difficult to find if you arrive late. The parking lot is on a steep slope, making parking difficult. The room was not clean and the soundproofing was poor; I won't book there again."
The Stanley Hotel
"We enjoyed our stay at the Stanley, but I wanted to warn other travelers that it is a massive construction site right now. If I had known, I might have still stayed there, but I would have requested a different room. Right now, the back side of the main building it a dirt pit. Construction starts at about 7:30 a.m. and wraps up at 5 p.m. Because the building has no air conditioning, our room got quite hot. Normally we would open the windows, but the dust from the construction site would come into the room. We would open the windows in the evening to cool it off, which works out fine if you're not in your room during the day. (Pro tip: Sit on the front porch instead!) Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. We did two of the guided tours, the ghost tour and the Shining tour. They're both fun."
Silver Moon Inn
Murphy's River Lodge
"The hotel location, facilities, and service were all above expectations. In particular, the customer service was impressive. Jacob, who helped me check in and check out, went beyond simple customer service and made me feel happy by telling me various stories about nearby restaurants and national parks. I had a great time throughout my stay."
YMCA of the Rockies
"I love everything that YMCA has to offer!"
Blue Door Inn
"Yes, it's very clean, like a farmhouse. The meal is simple, but it's quite delicious. 15 minutes walk from the visitor center."
Appenzell Inn
"Safety: Good Hygiene: good Environment: good, a little distance from the lake"
River Ridge Cottages
Streamside on Fall River
"Nice, close location close to one of the Rocky Mountain State Park entrances. We had room #10 with the jacuzzi whirlpool. It was a little dated - the tile and tub are pink, but it worked fine and my 7 year son LOVED taking a bath in it. Do be aware that the main bed in this space is a murphy bed and the secondary bed is a hide-a-bed. The murphy bed was not the most comfortable thing."
Idlewilde by the River
"These cabins have a great location, right on the Big Thompson River, but they are old, not well maintained, and their cleaning crew needs training (or they just don't care). The shower was disgusting, dirty, moldy and the shower curtain had mold and a mysterious red algae growing on it (see photos). I wore my flip flops to take a shower. The bed was horrible, no support, and I think the lower half of my body was at a 45 degree angle from my head. Sheets were old and stained, not even sure if they were changed from the previous occupant. The foundation of our cabin (#5, Ataloa) is caving in, as the floor sloped down as you walked from the bedroom to the bathroom, and the toilet is unstable (wobbled when you sat on it). The carpet was stained. I spoke to the women staying in the #6 cabin next to us and they agreed that the cleanliness of their cabin was also not adequate. Thank goodness we were only there for one night. After we checked out, I spoke to and emailed the Operations Manager, Armand, and requested some monetary compensation for all the issues with our cabin. I never got a reply nor any refund. Do yourself a favor and try one of the many other cabin options in that area."
