"This was the last hotel on my 30-day trip to France, and unexpectedly, it was the only one I had to give a bad review: First, don't expect the service staff to greet you proactively when you enter; second, it's on the third floor with no elevator, so don't expect anyone to help you with your luggage; third, there were souvenirs like hair left by previous guests on the bed; fourth, it was the only hotel without a kettle; fifth, the staff didn't provide any parking directions; and sixth, don't expect them to say goodbye when you check out. In short, this hotel failed to live up to Ctrip's recommendation!"

"This is such a cozy and romantic little hotel; they gave us a prime balcony room. Parking is convenient in the courtyard, and it's easy to walk to Elephant Trunk Hill. There's also a shopping street and a Carrefour supermarket nearby. The hotel breakfast was delicious; I especially loved the fresh applesauce."

"Horrible experience with hundreds of bedbugs biting you at night. Avoid at all costs! The owner took no action. I will never return. Ferocious bedbug bites from the infested sheets, pillows, mattress, and everywhere else in the room—floor and fabrics. My stay was ruined. I was forced to leave in the middle of the night, freezing with a suitcase and no idea where to go. The parking lot is very far away and inaccessible between 8 pm and 8 am. A disgrace to the otherwise charming town of Étretat. Absolutely avoid this place in its current state. It's overrated on ***********, which is incomprehensible..."

"The hotel is a little over 10 minutes' walk from both the bus station and the town's visitor center. Elephant Trunk Hill is a 30-minute walk away or accessible by the sightseeing train from the visitor center. The spacious double room I booked offers views of the mother elephant and the town's architecture from its small balcony, with particularly beautiful scenery in the early morning and evening on clear days. The room features Chinese-style décor and furnishings, a large triangular whirlpool tub, and a shower. Air conditioning may not be available, but there are two large heated seats. The Michelin-starred restaurant's exterior is covered in greenery, and the walls and chair backs are decorated with Picasso-style paintings. Guests may enjoy complimentary afternoon tea."

"Incredibly charming hotel in a fantastic location. Small personable room, with a lovely view. No elevator but the charming proprietor carried one of our bags up to the room - a lovely gentleman whose dinner suggestion was superb! The one thing we would change? The pillows, too hard!"

"Dreadful! Arrived to check in, mentioned myself and my partner were both unwell. She checked us in told us we were staying on the 3rd floor then laughed in my face when I asked if there was an elevator. She did not offer to help with our bags. I hurled them up many flights of stairs before getting to the room to find it was in the attic and unbearably hot. I went back to reception to ask if she had a room on a lower floor thinking it may be cooler but she laughed again. When I asked if there was a fan or small ac unit we could plug in and she abruptly and repeatedly said no before laughing at us again. I don’t know if the woman was psychopath if or had a a serious personality disorder but she should not have been in a service based role. Laughing at unwell guests is not just unacceptable, it’s horrendous behaviour! To ad insult to injury the room had a dirty bathroom, non natural polyester or acrylic bedding. I wanted to leave but all the hotels in the area were booked and we had completely run out of energy at this point."

"This stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is superb, very close to shopping areas, tourist attractions, and the subway station—all within walking distance, which is incredibly convenient. The room was spacious, with excellent natural light and ventilation. Cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the toiletries were of high quality. The staff were attentive and helpful, with quick check-in and check-out and prompt responses to any needs. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted delicious. Overall, a perfect experience! Highly recommended!"
