"Because we were traveling to and from the Great Ocean Road to see the Twelve Apostles, we saw this resort hotel that included breakfast, and the price was very reasonable. Plus, the hotel isn't far from the Geelong visitor center, so we could also take a stroll along Geelong's waterfront. The room was spacious, and the shower facilities with a handheld showerhead were excellent, making it perfect for a family road trip to use as a stopover on the way to the Great Ocean Road. Although the hotel breakfast wasn't particularly elaborate, basic items like eggs, various breads, yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea were available from 7 AM, which is great for travelers who need to get an early start."

"An overall relaxing and peacefully stay. The view looking over the vineyard is remarkable. The amenities and breakfast provided were more than enough. The 10:00am checkout though is a bit rush as other properties would usually have a 11:00am checkout."

The place was despicable, rubbish outside lower room areas, dried spilled liquid on concrete lower storage area, collected bed/linen sacks overflowing with some on the ground, refuse everywhere around steps to upper level, one upper level exit staircase closed off (huge fire danger evacuation issue), very ratty carpets, unclean mirror, squeaky entry door (hear it across the car park), otherwise clean bathroom but exhaust fan/light inoperative, curtain ripped, AND THE MANAGER JAMES? HAD A VERY POOR ATTITUDE, VERY ABRUPT (pointed his finger in my face when I challenged his attitude, & when sliding my receipt to me, held it down firmly with his other hand so I couldn’t take it and demanded respect when he was the one who was rude). All the above statements are my opinion. My wife agreed with me."

"Good stop over place in Geelong before travelling down to great ocean road. Location is near enough to the city center but away from the noise and crowd. Great burger joint right by the motel too. Lift provided to transport luggages upstairs to rooms."

"This motel was good value for money. It has been nicely renovated and was very comfortable. The position was close enough for us to walk to the shops and there were plenty of eateries in walking distance. There was a microwave and a new fridge. Highly recommend staying here."

"Nice and peaceful location. Room was cool even though it was a very hot day so it wasn’t necessary to use aircon. Awesome mattress to sleep on - not too hard or too soft, perfect! Plenty of power points to charge devices, located at bedside as well as by dining table. Hassle-free check-in and check-out. Pokie gaming in the evening was fun. We would definitely stay here again. "Wonderful, warm and comfortable cabin..... heated pool in winter was a great surprise for the children. We left something behind and the staff promptly contacted us and then held on to it until we could make it back to collect. Much appreciated. Highly recommend!"

"Geelong is a must-go town on the Ocean Road, and it is also the departure point for taking a boat to Tasmania Island. The BEST WESTERN brand is similar to the domestic Atour positioning. The service facilities are above the average. Parking is free and the parking space is enough. The hotel is in a good location. The room is much larger than expected. There is a balcony."

"The hotel reception was closed at 9pm, we arrived late, the hotel left the keys in the room and left us. The room is very spacious, the refrigerator and microwave oven should be fully equipped and the parking is convenient."
