"This was our first stop on our road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide, via the Great Ocean Road. As it was my first time driving a right-hand-drive car, I chose Geelong, being the closest to Melbourne, as our initial stopover. The hotel's location is excellent, right in front of Geelong Beach and behind Geelong's commercial center, making it convenient for dining and stocking up for a long drive. Both the hotel room and bathroom were spacious and bright, and at least upon check-in, they were very clean. The front desk staff was friendly and proactively arranged valet parking. Since there were three of us, housekeeping promptly set up and made the sofa bed. I do have to mention a common drawback: there were no disposable slippers. And another common issue: in today's personalized era, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided aren't really that useful. It would be better to save on those and instead provide guests with disposable slippers and shower caps."

"Had initially booked a room for 3 nights. Booked another 3 nights on line. Notified the staff in the office regarding my extended stay, they acknowledged this and stated I could stay in my original room. After my first nights stay I received a phone call asking why I had not checked out. I explained again to the same staff member that I had extended my booking. He then denied that I had a booking. I was able to show him the booking on my phone. He then informed me that my belongings had been removed and placed in another room. Not happy, will never stay at this motel again."

"We had some trouble checking in, the link sent to us didn’t work and we had no check-in details as we were travelling late. We tried the phone number which was an AI assistant that wasn’t able to help. I was lucky to find a mobile number eventually to get the details sent. A few things in the room was the pillows were extremely hot and very lucky. Also shower was tricky to work out. And when we figure out how to get the hot water, it was just a small trickle. The room itself and all other features is very special. Slightly disappointing with the pillow and the shower situation."

"The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the small town, making it easy for guests to reach tourist attractions quickly. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a gym and an indoor pool. While not overly large, they provide good fitness options for guests. I was very satisfied with the room size and cleanliness. However, the AUD 35 per night parking fee is unreasonable, as there are plenty of street parking spots nearby that are free from 5:30 PM to 9:00 AM. Therefore, if you stay at this hotel, you basically don't need to pay for a parking space."

"I specifically booked a larger family room because I was traveling with a 2-year-old, but the room was tiny and didn't match the 40 square meters described at all. It was even smaller than the 32 square meter room we stayed in the next day in downtown Melbourne. The front desk staff's attitude was pretty unenthusiastic; they seemed annoyed when explaining the hotel's complicated elevators and parking. The hotel is next to a golf course, which means it's quite remote and far from the city center. For dinner, we only had the option of the Thai restaurant on the first floor, which was overpriced and the food was just average. The breakfast also didn't offer much. The only upside was that it was convenient for parking since we were driving."

"01/1/26 $178. Stayed one night. Never again. The place was despicable, rubbish outside lower room areas, dried spilled liquid on concrete lower storage area, collected bed/linen sacks overflowing with some on the ground, refuse everywhere around steps to upper level, one upper level exit staircase closed off (huge fire danger evacuation issue), very ratty carpets, unclean mirror, squeaky entry door (hear it across the car park), otherwise clean bathroom but exhaust fan/light inoperative, curtain ripped, AND THE MANAGER JAMES? HAD A VERY POOR ATTITUDE, VERY ABRUPT (pointed his finger in my face when I challenged his attitude, & when sliding my receipt to me, held it down firmly with his other hand so I couldn’t take it and demanded respect when he was the one who was rude). All the above statements are my opinion. My wife agreed with me."

"Booked in for a two night stay in April 2026. First impressions were really good, nice location, spacious pod, cheese platter, wine and breakfast provided as promised and all of good quality. Was really looking forward to this much needed getaway however turned to disappointment as soon as the cold air settled in. Despite running the aircon at its max 30 degrees could not get the pod room to warm up. Luckily we had brought our own doona in the car and this was added to what I admit was a very comfortable king size bed and we bedded down for the night at 7.30 (not what I had planned) we woke up early to a freezing room and had breakfast in our winter jackets, the room never heated, I suspect either an issue with insulation or the aircon was too small or combination of both. We have decided to vacate after our first night and abandon the rest of the stay, pity because everything else was perfect."
