"Clean and tidy. We arrived quite late, and the front desk upgraded our room, which was a nice surprise. The environment is pretty good. It's a convenient stopover before heading to the Great Ocean Road. Breakfast was decent, and the hotel's own Thai restaurant was quite tasty. Overall, it was a pretty convenient stay."

"An overall relaxing and peacefully stay. The view looking over the vineyard is remarkable. The amenities and breakfast provided were more than enough. The 10:00am checkout though is a bit rush as other properties would usually have a 11:00am checkout."

"I've stayed at the Admiralty Inn a number of times in the past and usually the stay has been good. On a previous stay earlier in the year, and as I was packing to leave, there was a knock on the door saying 'Housekeeping'. The time was 9.40am (checkout is at 10am) and I just felt I was being pushed to leave. I let it slide at the time as i wasn't far off packed and ready to leave anyhow. However, on my most recent stay in May it was taken to a whole new level. Having in mind my previous experience, I decided to place the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door. My thinking being that this should mean that I wouldn't be disturbed until the 10am checkout. At 8.09am, yes I checked the time, the door to my room opened, no knock no warning, and the housekeeper is poking their head in the door. Whilst I was awake I was still in bed though, but what if I had just jumped out of the shower and no clothes on? The housekeeper did make a hasty retreat saying sorry but I just feel that's not good enough, especially as I had the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door and almost two hours prior to checkout. It makes me wonder if any one else has had a similar experience. When you book a motel room you do expect a reasonable level of privacy but I am now very hesitant to stay at the Admiralty Inn again as I feel I cannot be guaranteed any privacy at all. In saying all this, I was tempted to leave a poor or bad review, but I settled on average as the room itself was adequate for the price. All things considered I think my rating of average is more than fair."

"This hotel in Geelong is right in the city center, by the beach. It's super convenient. This morning, I saw a sky full of beautiful colors from my room's balcony, so I quickly headed downstairs and crossed the street to the beach. I ended up witnessing a stunning sunrise. The hotel staff are all really friendly. The room has everything you could need – a washing machine, dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen, making it feel just like home. It was fantastic!"

"The starting point of the Great Ocean Road, we chose to rest here for one night. Geelong is known as the 'Rainbow Fairy Tale Town' of the Southern Hemisphere and is definitely worth a stopover. I communicated with the hotel via email to reserve a parking space, and the communication was very smooth."

"Wonderful, warm and comfortable cabin..... heated pool in winter was a great surprise for the children. We left something behind and the staff promptly contacted us and then held on to it until we could make it back to collect. Much appreciated. Highly recommend!"

"This was our first stop on our road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide, via the Great Ocean Road. As it was my first time driving a right-hand-drive car, I chose Geelong, being the closest to Melbourne, as our initial stopover. The hotel's location is excellent, right in front of Geelong Beach and behind Geelong's commercial center, making it convenient for dining and stocking up for a long drive. Both the hotel room and bathroom were spacious and bright, and at least upon check-in, they were very clean. The front desk staff was friendly and proactively arranged valet parking. Since there were three of us, housekeeping promptly set up and made the sofa bed. I do have to mention a common drawback: there were no disposable slippers. And another common issue: in today's personalized era, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided aren't really that useful. It would be better to save on those and instead provide guests with disposable slippers and shower caps."

"I had a particularly satisfying stay this time. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around and shopping, with plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful, handling check-in and check-out efficiently with a gentle and polite attitude. The room was clean and tidy, with a logical layout, soft and comfortable bedding, and great sound insulation, ensuring a very quiet night's rest. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, all toiletries were complete and clean, and there was ample hot water supply. The overall environment and hygiene were well-maintained; there were no unpleasant odors in the hallways or public areas. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including meat, vegetables, desserts, and drinks, all tasting homely and offering good value. The hotel provides great value for money, with comprehensive facilities and attentive service, leading to a wonderful living experience. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to everyone."

"Staffs arr very kind and hospitable. They upgraded the room for us from ground floor to 9th floor and from the room we can see the sea. The unit is very well-equipped and comfortable.There are washer and dryer, fidge and freezer and dishwashee. It takes only 2-3 minutes walk to the sea and to Westfield Mall. In all we are so impressed with everything."
