"There is nothing wrong with the hotel. Exception: I think the price of around €200 per night is too high. Like most other hotel guests, I was there for a Schalke game. The price obviously takes advantage of the fact that the place will definitely be fully booked. But you can do it once. It is of course absolutely great that you can basically fall straight into bed from the arena and don't have to squeeze into the overcrowded tram, especially for an evening game. Of course there is still a lot of action in the hotel lobby until late at night. But I would like it to be like that for a football game."

"We were there for a opera visit at the music theater in the neighborhood and felt very well lifted in this hotel and also in the restaurant. The rooms are very beautifully furnished, the bed is a dream, the bath was large, clean and spacious. The hotel is located right next to a railway that is only driven by freight trains and my room was so close to that railway that I thought the trains are driving directly through my room. Personally did not disturb me because I was grown up next to a railway line. For the disturbing person, earstops are ready. The staff, especially in the restaurant/bar, were extremely friendly and premature. The food was very delicious! A tip for all visitors of the hotel: In 100 metres distance you can visit the North Star Tower at weekends. A mining museum and the Ruhrbergbau. There is a permanent exhibition on several floors about the mining, which is really worth seeing."
