The hotel is excellent, clean, and has complete facilities. The Kids Club offers many activities for children. Ms. Sella from reservations was incredibly helpful. The salon facilities are good, and the service is excellent, especially from Ms. Firda and Ms. Nining. Breakfast has a wide variety and everything is delicious. PADMA is the best hotel in Semarang, Indonesia, and this Tentrem is a close second. As soon as you enter the lobby, there's a strong, pleasant fragrance. The restaurant and pool are located on the sixth floor. Right across the street is a shopping mall, and on the second floor of the mall, there's a Chinese restaurant called Xia Gong. Hotel guests get a 15% discount there, and you'll receive a discount voucher from the front desk when you check in.

This hotel is centrally located in Semarang, within walking distance of attractions like Queen City Mall, the Old Semarang Post Office, and the Great Mosque. It's also conveniently located about 960 meters from Poncol Train Station, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Facilities and services include an outdoor pool, fitness center, executive lounge, free WiFi, and free parking. Some rooms feature a minibar and a private bathroom. A buffet breakfast is offered, and certain room types include executive lounge access. The staff are warm and welcoming, and check-in and check-out at the front desk are quick and easy. Overall, the service experience is excellent!

Very clean room and a very new hotel. The space in front of the bed is a bit limited, but I honestly did not mind at all. The location is convenient, situated above a mall, and the TV is a smart TV so you can watch YouTube. Do note that if you are dropped off by taxi at the mall entrance, there is an additional IDR 5,000 charge due to the mall’s policy. Overall, I was satisfied with the stay and felt it was good value for the price paid.

The hotel is conveniently located with a shopping mall right across the street. The breakfast spread is abundant and varied, and the service is warm and friendly. The only downsides are that the air conditioning can be a bit noisy at night and the bathroom is relatively small.

I have been staying at this hotel for a long time and it has always been one of my familiar choices whenever I visit the area. Some facilities seem a little old compared to before. Last night was slightly difficult because there was a loud fan or machine noise coming from outside, which made it a bit hard to sleep. I hope the hotel can check this issue because it could affect guests staying in nearby rooms. Aside from that small inconvenience, my stay was generally satisfying. The staff were friendly as usual and the service was reliable. I still appreciate the comfort and memories I have had here over the years, and I hope the hotel will continue to maintain and improve its facilities in the future.

Excellent Location: The hotel is situated in a prime location in downtown Semarang, offering incredibly convenient transportation access to the Old Town (Kota Lama), popular attractions, and shopping malls. It's a top choice for both business travelers and tourists. High Standard of Service and Dining: The staff were exceptionally warm and professional right from check-in. I especially want to praise their breakfast – the variety was impressive, with a wide selection of local Indonesian flavors and Western dishes, all prepared with great care. Well-Equipped Facilities, Though Showing Some Age: The room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. While it's clear the hotel has been around for a while and the decor is more classic and traditional, the overall cleanliness was spotless, and maintenance was excellent. The hotel's pool and gym were also very clean, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

Here are the things considered extra servies which the guests have to pay to use: pool, cutleries to use in room when you don't order food from room service and hair dryer. That's just the things I thought to ask for, maybe tons of other things are also not free. Hospitality is awful, female crews were absolutely rude. Don't bother staying here if you're trying to have a half-decent vacation. Also, the bathroom stinks, the double bed is a fake (only 2 singles pushed together which created a hole im the middle), there are rats running around the pool area, the TV is not a Smart TV yet (old style cable only), in-house spa and massage prices were over the top.

The hotel is quite old and very big, but everything is still well-maintained and in good condition. It offered good value for money for three people plus a friend. We enjoyed beautiful views of Mount Ungaran every morning. The breakfast was delicious, with a different menu offered daily – absolutely fantastic! One thing that made us quite reluctant to move was the incredibly long walk from the reception to the elevators. The restaurant is also quite a trek from the elevators, which is understandable given how massive this hotel is. If you're staying alone, I wouldn't recommend this hotel; you might get the creeps walking around by yourself, haha! However, if you're with a big group and kids, it's fine and not spooky. But precisely because the hotel is so huge, the distances to the elevators and restaurant are considerable, and it can feel incredibly deserted! 😭😭😱😱
