Semarang Hotels with Breakfast

All the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities are excellent, and I particularly have to praise their swimming pool. Having stayed in numerous five-star hotels across different countries, I can confidently say their pool is one of the larger ones and impeccably clean. The only downside is that it closes at 8 PM. The hotel's breakfast buffet is incredibly extensive; you're guaranteed to find something you'll enjoy. The restaurant staff are exceptionally attentive. If you dine there for breakfast two days in a row, they'll already remember your preferences and ask if you need anything specific. Furthermore, their Chinese restaurant, Summer Palace, serves outstanding Cantonese cuisine, and the prices are very reasonable. Even the staff in the Chinese restaurant maintain the hotel's consistently friendly service. If you ever have the chance to stay at this hotel, I highly recommend trying their Chinese restaurant.

The room was spacious and very clean. It's an older hotel, but it has a charming history. Dining at the restaurant was also a very pleasant experience. The gym and sauna facilities were well-equipped and comfortable. Plus, it's located right in the city center, making it convenient to get everywhere.

Super super great location, close to Lawang Sewu, a mall, and a bus station. A cathedral and an army museum are within walking distance (tho you can skip the museuk tbh). Staffs are great, very polite, helpful, and quick to offer solutions. Quite loyal with the food and they provide water in the corridors. With that price, ofc there will be some setbacks, amenities are minimal, no fridge, no hair dryer (you can ask them directly), but they do provide water bottle everyday. Overall a great service and a pleasant stay

Value for money. The front desk staff are efficient and responsive. They responded immediately when we requested for a room change because the room allocated to us initially was just next to the lift. We were given another room at the far most end which was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The beds are slightly smaller than the other hotel beds which we have been to. And just like some other hotels in Java, we need to request for a hairdryer from the front desk. The breakfast food choices were excellent and we enjoyed the different local Javanese food for two mornings. The hotel's spa-massage service was also good and you'll need to book early for the session. Thank you.

As mentioned on my previous review the hotel tomorrow and provides a really good however aging amenities and hotel experience. The stay was good the food was amazing however I do have to say that in the four star hotel class in central samarang there are a lot of other choices so feel free to take a look at those first but do not leave novotel entirely out of your list.

Comfortable, Strategic Location, and Friendly Staff I stayed at Whiz Hotel Pemuda Semarang from August 16–18, 2026, for a vacation. I booked a Standard Single Room with 1 small bed, including breakfast for one person, and was assigned room 418 on the 4th floor. Overall, I was quite satisfied with this stay. I'm also a repeat guest and received a complimentary slice of fruit. Small gestures like this are quite pleasant, in my opinion, as they make guests feel valued. The check-in and check-out processes were quick, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere felt quite familiar, like a second home. The Wi-Fi was also stable and smooth. My room offered a view of Paragon Mall. Regarding the room itself, I found the AC to be not cold enough, and the TV was still a standard model. The bathroom was quite comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and was pleasant to use, while the bath soap had a lovely fragrance. For breakfast, I felt the menu options were quite limited. I hope the variety can be increased in the future. I have a few suggestions that I hope management will consider, particularly regarding the speed of answering phone calls, the swiftness in delivering guest requests to the room, and the need for more detailed room cleaning, including the floor, furniture/wood, desk, wardrobe, bathroom, TV remote, glasses, and lighting. I also hope that all staff and HODs (Heads of Department) can greet guests more frequently when passing by. A simple greeting and a smile, I believe, can make the hotel atmosphere much warmer. Furthermore, coordination between FO (Front Office), HK (Housekeeping), FB (Food & Beverage), and Engineering is crucial to ensure guest needs are handled more quickly. During breakfast, the speed of clearing dirty plates could also be improved, or a self-service area could be provided for guests to place used cutlery. As for the location, I find it very strategic. It's easy to find food around the hotel, with 'warteg' (local food stalls) and a 24-hour Indomaret. The location is also close to Paragon Mall, Queen City Mall, DP Mall, Semarang Poncol Station, Kota Lama (Old Town), Tugu Muda, and Lawang Sewu. Overall, Whiz Hotel Pemuda Semarang has provided a good experience. I offer these suggestions as a guest who wishes for the hotel to continue improving, especially in terms of service and attention to detail. Plus: Friendly staff at lobby, reception and restaurant. Helpful staff at Obsidian who helped reheat our food although bought from outside 🙏👍 Location is strategic - near to the mall and walking distance old town tourist attraction. Minus: The touchless elevator buttons were too sensitive. The lift at all floors lit when hand came near. It caused the slowing down due to stopping at each floor and prolonged guests waiting time especially during peak hours. Sound proof was not effective- the loud noise from traffic, exercise dance music from nearby square was truly disturbing during night and morning. Restaurant is quite small. Hard to find a seat during breakfast time.

This hotel is great for light sleepers; the soundproofing exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, with simple yet stylish decor. Hot water was consistently available and stable. The staff were polite and efficient. All facilities were well-maintained and in good working order. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation and plenty of amenities. It's a quiet and comfortable place to stay, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. Definitely worth returning to.

Great hotel actually, nice pool and breakfast, but the building and interior is a little bit old that I’m not really into it. Many cracks at the wall and floor that not looks good. Its located in a local residences, not too close to the center of the city.

The hotel design was aesthetic and can see javanese culture.. Love it. My kids also love the hotel and the staff is really friendly. The service also excellent. Oh ya, the breakfast buffet is great and kids meal friendly . Will stay here again in the future 🥰🥰
