The recommended route is to take the cable car up from the entrance, walk through Dajinshan Tower and Dongwuyan Tower, and exit from the East Gate, which leads directly to Huinong Farmhouse – very convenient and avoids backtracking. You can call ahead to order, so you can have your meal ready in no time. Breakfast also includes hot porridge and eggs – a truly comprehensive service. The gentleman knows many routes along the undeveloped sections of the Great Wall, but we didn't have time this time. I'll definitely stay here again next time I have the chance.
