Tongyeong-si Hostels

I honestly could not be more satisfied with this hotel! When I first booked, I noticed it looked like a newly opened property, and from the reviews it seemed the owners were running it with great care. The rooms looked stylish yet affordable, so I immediately reserved two nights without hesitation, and it turned out exactly as I had hoped! Although the hostess doesn’t speak much English, she was extremely warm and welcoming, and even kindly allowed us to check in early. The room was a bit small, but very well designed and beautifully decorated. What I loved most was the window view—it was so calming and made the whole environment feel wonderfully comfortable. On our second night, we met a man who also didn’t speak much English. At first I thought he walked away because we couldn’t speak Korean, but it turned out he had gone to use his translation app to communicate with us. He was equally hospitable. I suspect he was the owner, since the hostess mentioned that her husband designed this hotel. If you’re visiting Tongyeong, staying at this hotel is definitely the right choice. I strongly recommend booking a sea-view room. Tongyeong itself is a lovely small city, much more relaxing than Busan. I also visited Geoje Island, and honestly, the two days in Tongyeong and Geoje were the highlight of my entire trip. Busan was fun too, but it didn’t quite compare. I look forward to exploring more small cities in Korea in the future!

The other hotel we booked (Tongyeong Beautiful Hotel) gave us a wrong room and worst that we pay for, we cancelled in 22:00 and booked for this one. The worker was so nice and the room was very clean and comfortable

The hotel was new and clean. Enjoyed the toiletries provided and there are 2 convenience stores nearby if you need any snacks, etc. Location was accessible and easy to find as well. Will probably visit again in the future. Thanks.

This is the accommodation where I stayed for one night in Tongyeong to go on a tour to Yokjido with my son. The facilities were clean overall. The mattress was comfortable, so I slept soundly. There is a rooftop area, and there were various amenities on the second floor. Breakfast starts at 7:00 AM, not 6:00 AM. The owner was also kind. The parking facilities seemed a bit cramped. There are many restaurants nearby, and Jungang Market is within a 5 to 10-minute walk. The only downside is that there are no tables!

The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. It's a great hotel. There's a cafe downstairs that gave us a discount. It's fantastic, right in front of the harbor.

This is a great value accommodation for a business trip to Tongyeong. It is located in a slightly narrow alley, but the staff were friendly and even showed me where to park. The room is average, but the value for money is incredible. I would definitely visit again.

Good value, nice clean room. Great location close to the bus terminal. Lots of restaurants, shops and giant Emart close by, and not far from walking path along the water. We were able to borrow umbrellas when it rained too.

The sea view is right in front of you ~ !! There are many restaurants around, and the location is good ~ !!

GOOD AND NICE FOR LATE CHECK IN. HOWEVER, FLOOR IN ROOM WAS SO DIRTY. TOILET AND BED WAS CLEAN AND SO ON...
