This place is very close to the Bridge over the River Kwai, right in the city center, only 2 minutes away from major tourist attractions. The room is small but comfortable, has a hairdryer, and most importantly, it's very clean. You might hear some rain, and parking is limited, only fitting 3 cars.
It was 20min walk from the bus terminal. You can also find a small night market at night around there.
You will need a ride if you’re coming from the railway station.
7/11 is nearby so you wouldn’t have a problem with late night snacks. I felt safe thanks to the security is on the first floor.
For the local waiba, the hotel is excellent. It allows you to plunge into the natural beauty of this place. It is cool that on the shore of the Kwai River and close to the bridge. In general the location is good, friendly staff and very responsive. It is a very good place to cover basic needs and relaxation. With shower and water pressure from the tap there were no problems.
we check in late due to our early trip to the death railway.
easy check in system, you just need to see the owner and can directly check in to the room. room is huge, bathroom is clean. has refrigerator too.
locationwise, walkable to the night market and to the Kanchanaburi train station. from Kanchanaburi train station you have to cross the road and walk a little bit deeper to the shops area and small alley.
however to go to the bus station, you might need to take grab because its about 2-3km distance.
The advantage is having a private space that's not too far from the light rail station. There's no dining area and no lounge space. Overall, it's alright for a one or two-day stay if you don't mind roughing it a bit.
The boss is very enthusiastic. He said that no Chinese have been here for a long time. He also spoke Chinese to me. The room is clean and breakfast is provided. Where are you going, the boss will tell you how to go in detail.
