MMOHD NUR HAFIZ BIN SAMRENThis one is homey, we feel like its Istanbul homey. The decoration, the reception, the room, even the breakfast. But the cats were suprisingly very shy. Mr Atilla was a very helpful guy, he even helped us with Uber since no body wanted to accept my travel in InDrive. He constantly made sure we were comfortable. You should try it. After a tiring day of walking and sightseeing, going back to your room feels different. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality. May Allah bless you always.

GGuest UserI stayed here in a hurry and checked in at 1pm. There are lockers and locks, a bathroom and a kitchen. Remember to bring your own toiletries.

I was in Istanbul for three days and excited to stay here for all three days. However, they arranged a very drunk man next to my bed. He was grunting aggressively and throwing things around. When I was taking shower, he went on to bang the shower room door violently.
I did not feel safe with the man around because he might destroy my possessions, if not endanger my wellbeing.
I went to the counter and told the staffs, hoping just to move me to another room to have peace of mind. However, one of the staffs Zakaria, invalidated my request and repeatedly telling me the drunk guy has ”no problem”, indicating I'm not allowed to move to another room and they also did not intend to solve the problem.
He then said to me ”this is a hostel” insinuating I should lower my expectations with the type of people I share room with in a hostel. As someone who survived family members with drinking issue, his lack of empathy is pissing me off.
After insisting on my request I will not go back to that room, luckily the other staff decided to switch me to another room.
Over the course of my stay, this Zakaria staff totally forgot his professionalism and giving me sour face the entire time even though I was being very cordial with him.
I also realize he also intentionally charge me double for using the kitchen. (The price displayed here was $1, he asked me for $2, not a lot but its frustrating).
If I take Zakaria out of my thought, this is really one of the loveliest stay in Turkey for me.

KKuangbendelaorenThis price, this location, what kind of bicycles are needed! Less than 200, standard room, in addition to the kettle, toothbrush, water cup, bottled water, even breakfast, the key is a small terrace facing the sea, the bathroom has floor heating, worth it! Much better than the domestic light travel! Finally, I reminded that the front desk and the picture photos are not a family, and it is a bit suspected to sell dog meat.

But! is just on a very busy street, the bed up near the window is also without curtains, well, that is, transparent is a tulle, but the light from the lamps is very bright. And that 's another big minus because the entrance door and the door to the room I didn 't lock, you just open the door no code is needed, i.e. your stuff in the closet with a lock in the room that doesn 't close. Toilet and showers on the second floor, and I lived on the fourth, constantly running there here is not convenient

LLeón-clDon't be fooled by Google Maps, because you won't find that sign. The location is first-rate, right next to the Blue Mosque, and the surrounding atmosphere is very good, suitable for opening. If you have obsessive-compulsive disorder, don't live there. Those who lively can't sleep before two o'clock in the morning, there is nothing wrong with that. Breakfast used to be included, but now it’s cancelled. And the on-site reservation is 20% cheaper than the online price

EEmirahanI came to Istanbul for a business trip and preferred to stay at Gökçe Hostel. The price performance is very good, it is a reasonable price, it is a reliable place. The hotel staff is good, they solve a problem immediately, I got a positive energy during my stay as a customer. The rooms are clean, the sink and shower places are very nice and modernly designed. Hotels like this are usually expensive. But Gökçe Hostel is cute, warm-blooded, customer-oriented, they work with friendly staff, reasonable price, clean, reliable, fast internet in the room, hot water 24/7, instant connection to a customer representative. In short, we can say that the service provided here is above the price paid.
