AAussiePaulaThis getaway was exactly what I wanted. Traditional, immersive, comfortable, accomodating.
The staff came and greeted us in the car park, the dinner and breakfast was amazing, delicious, adventurous. And the onsen on the roof was perfect!
The staff thoroughly explained their processes. I spoke some japanese and they spoke only some english but they were very accomating with us and welcoming.
I would highly recommend and its also not far from town either.
It snowed a little the night we stayed and it was so magical!
We had our own private onsen at our room but the others in the ryokan are even better and available to be private, just lock door when your using.

じじのびり温泉好きとしては飯坂温泉は行くしかないっしょ！ということで、しかし宿の料金は抑えたいのが正直なところ。
そこで毎回恒例Trip.comで最安値の宿を絞り込みで検索したらなんとも風情のある旅館が見つかった。
最安値なのに駅から近くて部屋からの景色も良い。
そもそも飯坂温泉周辺の温泉所やお食事処、観光名所となる歴史的建造物などが徒歩圏内にあるという丁度良いコンパクトさなので一人旅の人だけではなく、カップルや家族旅行をする人達にもピッタリな場所だと思う。

Our rooms were spacious and panoramic, with a beautiful view from the window. The room had everything we needed.
I really liked the private bath; it was comfortable and beautiful.
The public bath wasn't particularly impressive, perhaps due to the recent renovations. I can't say anything bad, but my expectations were a little higher.
The biggest plus is the staff. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness; it's thanks to you that we keep coming back.
The food was also great; the standard dinner menu has changed slightly since last year. There's a wide selection of drinks.

GGuest UserThe first time I went to Japan after the epidemic, the first stop was the Fukushima rice version hot spring. There were few people, the environment was first-class, and the soup experience was perfect. Because the exterior wall of the hotel is under maintenance, the store is afraid that customers can't find it. When the tram arrives, they will have a special person waiting at the intersection, which is very good.

AAlly2023Service is excellent! The staff is very friendly and helpful. He can speak a bit of English. Room is huge and clean with a private toilet and a kitchen area with a microwave. Surrounding area is very quiet and scenary is very beautiful. Got free parking. Onsen is fantastic too. We can use the onsen one more time even though we have checked out at 10am. Got free coffee. Overall, recommended if you visit Tsuchiyu, Fukushima.
