Richmond Hotel Fukushima Ekimae ★★★
"Conveniently located with friendly staff. Comfortable rooms, but the bed was a little too firm."
Sansuiso Tsuchiyu Spa ★★★★
"Wide selection of onsens - no dinner option around the area if you haven’t reserved dinner prior to check in"
Jr-East Hotel Mets Fukushima ★★★★
"The room was small but very clean, and the included breakfast was lovely. The front desk was incredibly helpful, offering free skincare samples and even providing travel adapters. Such a great stay!"
Hotel Sankyo Fukushima ★★★
"Excellent value for money! I booked through Trip.com and it included a wonderful, extensive breakfast. The room was a standard size, but had everything you needed, which is typical for hotels in Japan. Location-wise, it's about a 10-minute walk from Fukushima Station and just a 3-minute walk to the bus stop for Hanamiyama. You can check the bus schedule in your room and head out just in time. For buses to Aizu-Wakamatsu, you can catch them at Fukushima Station or, even closer, at the Prefectural Office, which is only a 5-minute walk away. It's also incredibly convenient for train travel: 1.5 hours to Tokyo by Shinkansen and just 30 minutes to Sendai."
APA Hotel Fukushima-Ekimae ★★★
"The room was clean and perfect, and the large public bath was empty and comfortable as I used it in the evening. The location is also good, and I would like to use it again."
Adachiya Ryokan ★★
"room is comfortable. food is delicious. service is well done"
Grand Park Hotel EX Fukushimaebisu ★★★
"It's a bit of a walk from Fukushima station, about 600 meters, but the hotel is excellent. The staff are very helpful. They provide two pillows, which is very comfortable. The bathroom is huge, and there's a shared shower room. They have cold soba noodles at night, and you can leave your luggage there. If you want overnight cleaning, just leave your key at the counter."
The Celecton Fukushima ★★★★
"The hotel is very old. There is only one plug in the room. The newest is the bathroom. The staff is quite good. The hotel is near the train station. You can go across to find food. There is a shopping mall a bit further. The parking lot is 300 meters away from the hotel. The room can open a big suitcase but you have to rearrange the space. It is quite narrow."
HOTEL ROUTE-INN Grand FUKUSHIMA EKIMAE HIGASHIGUCHI ★★★
"It was close to the station and very clean. I would like to use it again."

Iizaka Onsen Surikamitei Ohtori
"The room was clean and comfortable. The bath was spacious and relaxing."
Izumiya
"The hotel has hot springs where you can soak. Our family of five stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room, which was very spacious. The hotel offers many traditional Japanese experiences, providing yukata, geta (wooden clogs), tatami chairs, cushions, etc. There are also delicious round dumplings nearby."
Horieya Ryokan
"The atmosphere of an old hot spring inn has been preserved. Many "Onsen Musume" related goods are on display inside the building. Of course there is a hot spring, but since Sabakoyu is next door, you might want to use that instead. Meals are served in the room, and the portions are plentiful, the food is well prepared, and it was very delicious. The stew made by the head female owner was particularly delicious. The owners, a married couple, were also very kind to us. However, there are no locks on the rooms, so it may not be suitable for people who value privacy."
Mukaitaki-bekkan Takinone
"The hotel has a great location. The staff were excellent and very helpful with everything, including the itinerary. We were very satisfied. Two of the staff members spoke Mandarin, which made the hotel even more welcoming. The included breakfast and dinner were of high quality and excellent service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot spring water was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely choose this hotel again if we have the chance."
Toyoko Inn Fukushima-Eki Higashi-Guchi No 1
"It's normal. I thought it was nice that they had the option to provide breakfast in a bento box."
Toyoko Inn Fukushima-eki Nishi-guchi
"Nice hotel beside the station. However the buzz is in the other side of the station."
Hotel Fukushima Hills
"No-frills, simple set up for short term stays. Clean and comfortable for my one night stay. Staff were courteous and helpful."
Otomeyuri
"Be sure to bring your own toothbrush, razor, etc. There are no vending machines, so be sure to prepare everything before checking in. Bring your own food, alcohol, snacks, etc. as needed. A refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle are provided. Prepare as if you were staying in a dormitory room."
Takayu Onsen Kagetsu Highland Hotel
"The hotel is located at the highland so the view looking down to the Fukushima city is amazing, esp during the night time. The staff service is very caring too. Every staff always has a smiley face. The room we reserved is a bit dated. However all other facilities in the hotel are very clean, neat l, well decorated and pretty new too. The Onsen areas are clean and modern too. The food is surprisingly tasty. I truly enjoyed my stay."
Ryokan New Ougiya
Hanataki
"This was my second time staying at this hotel. I was always able to relax in the bath, as it was always private. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Feeling the river breeze after a bath was the ultimate luxury. I would like to stay again."
Yoshikawaya
"Everything is good and the dining environment is good! There is also the sound of insects in the creek. The bathing environment is also good, but it is a pity that there are few outdoor areas. The indoor bathing environment is quite clean. The room layout is Japanese style, the tatami beds are made efficiently, and the space is quite sufficient. Unfortunately, we did not stay long enough to experience the facilities in the museum, which is quite suitable. Family travel accommodation."
Harumiya Ryokan
"The breakfast and dinner are served in the room and the baths are private. I didn't meet any other guests. The guide was cute and the service was excellent. The hot spring was a little hot. I added some water!"
Iseya
"I got the impression that they were working very hard. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to soak in a hot spring, enjoy the nearby restaurants, and then relax in their room."
Matsuriya Yuzaemon
"The warm water of the radium hot spring is perfect for therapeutic bathing, so I was able to soak for a leisurely 30 to 40 minutes. I felt like I was slowly sweating. Unlike sulfur hot springs, it has no scent and is lukewarm, so it's safe for small children to soak in it for a long time."
