A+++ Family Vacation (2 Adults, 3 Kids – 4, 5 and 7). You should not hesitate to book this super lux spot for your next vacation. We chose Conrad Tulum because it was on the CN Traveler best places to go. It did not disappoint. No way for the resort to be any more lux/beautiful or service to be better. Pictures are real and in some cases don’t do the place enough justice. Place is brand new. Further, the “kids club” was critical to our vacation. Shamara, Sehem, Ivette and Ruth all jointly run the kids club. It is a mix of indoor and outdoor activities from 945am-5pm (lunch with parents at Noon). Making pinatas, painting, reading, traditional Mexican art/crafts alongside pool (there is a specific pool about 2.5 feet-3 feet deep which is great for young children), beach, watersport, treasure hunts around the resort, etc. This is a very curated program for kids, exceptional in every aspect and also customizable based on what the kids may want to do. My kids are begging to return. Thank you to the staff at the kids club! Some other outstanding parts of the resort include morning wellness activities on the beach (Rafael is wellness coach speak to him on arrival for schedule/info) and the breakfast restaurant which has countless stations servicing traditional Mexican food cooked to order in front of you by chefs as well as a plethora of recognizable American breakfast items. It is a showstopper. Rivals the best breakfasts at the worlds finest hotels. Other restaurants on site (pan Asian, Japanese, Mexican, etc) are all superb. Guacamole, coconuts, champagne, wines all delivered poolside, beachside, etc. All the fine service you would expect. Some suggestions for the future as the hotel is brand new. Fix (or get a new) ATM that dispenses Mexican Peso so Americans can tip your exceptional staff in pesos without paying a silly exchange rate at the front desk. For the watersports company on the beach they need high end equipment to match the character of the hotel. For example, snorkel equipment must be the “dry” snorkels and they should have goggle defogger on site and used prior to each swim – price should be raised to accommodate this. Oscar is the local snorkel guide and he is REALLY GOOD. There is a massive set of coral reefs with tons of fish (some as big as sharks) outside the hotel but accessible only with the best equipment. (bring your own better yet!). Childrens food at the hotel/poolside could improve so that the kids have healthy and LOCAL choices (fruit/veg as sides, fun kid local fruit drink, less of the burger/chicken stuff that is on every menu in the USA). Guacamole ice cream cones (made from tortilla chips, delivered as fun snacks for free every day which the kids loved) were amazing and that should be on the menu! Finally, there are some comments about sea****. They have huge crews that come clean it up every morning (done by about 9/10am). Its not a nuisance. Probably by the time you wake its all gone and you never know its there. It

Second visit to this resort hotel. Loved it the first time so much we couldn’t wait to come back, but of course we had to wait until after the pandemic! Sadly, it didn’t quite live up to our memories. It certainly wasn’t as clean as the first time, lots of areas looked tired and grubby. Things like the showers and the balconies and also the pools and surrounding areas. It was sad really, because the staff were still as lovely and amazing as ever. It’s been four/ five years since last being here and I’m now vegetarian and was surprised at the lack of choice there is for those of us that don’t eat meat and fish. The beach bar literally only has chips and sometimes rice that’s a veggie option, so I wouldn’t say that was 5 * The saddest part was the sate of the beaches. There was rubbish and plastic everywhere, even on the turtle beach which they claim to pride themselves as eco friendly helping the turtles. This rubbish wasn’t cleared up the whole time we were here and just appeared to get worse and worse. I know that’s the environment we live in now, but when you’re claiming to be an ecological site this is poor, sadly poor. It was so sad to see turtle holes filled with rubbish and debris. The ATM didn’t work the whole time we were here (2 weeks) and they wouldn’t let us draw any money out on our cards, so we hadn’t got extra cash for tips or the twice weekly market. Sadly we won’t be returning or recommending it to our friends

We visited Seaside Suites in 2012 for our honeymoon and I never had any desire to return, at the time I thought it was ok and nothing special. However, we decided to give it another go in September 2023 and I am so glad we did. We travelled from Scotland with TUI, transfer time was just over an hour. Check in was a little chaotic, reception appeared very busy on arrival. We were eventually taken to our room after around an hour. Now, when we visited in 2012 I thought the rooms were dated and unfortunately they remain exactly the same - immediately I regretted booking! However, the following morning we decided not to let the room dampen our spirits and we went out to explore. The resort has been extended since our initial stay with more amenities on offer. The new Italian and Asian were lovely, the food and service were fantastic. We also enjoyed the cocktails in the tequilla bar. I recently read that from July this year the Asian and Tequilla bar come at an additional cost ? I hope that’s not the case. The evening entertainment, which I felt let our initial trip down, was completely different with a better program running in the evenings. We enjoyed the beach most days , yes there was seaweed but the workers are constantly clearing it away. The beach bar at the far end was a firm favourite. We both enjoyed the spa, followed by couples massages on the beach - absolute heaven. In summary, I am so glad we returned to this resort, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit this time. My only criticism would be the rooms are in desperate need of modernisation.

There is no shower and no lights. We are ready, but we live on the first floor and we were chopped to death by the people on the second floor. We were still walking around at two o'clock in the morning, and there were people arguing next door until late 🥹 All the staff's services can't be said. In other words, this place is enough for a day. The price/performance ratio is not too high, and the breakfast is good.

Very chic, new and modern hotel in the newly Aldea Zama neighborhood which is a modern mix where tropical and city meet. For starters the hotel is located in a new section of Tulum that’s “heavily” under construction. If you can see pass the construction you’ll be fine, if construction bothers you stay away. If you’re looking for beach access stay away. The beach is about 10 minutes (taxi), 35 minutes bike, or an hour walk. Speaking of bikes the hotel has them for free to use, which is a nice perk. The hotel pool and view is simply amazing! The hotels rooftop restaurants food is good (ate there twice). The rooms are spacious and new. I had a issue with my first room but they were able to move me to another room after some slight back and forth! It was my birthday and they welcomed me (in the room) with a happy birthday banner and towel cake (super cute and thoughtful). There are about two handfuls of restaurants in walking distance, a pet market, a fresh market, and pharmacies. They changed the towels everyday, they made the bed everyday but didn’t change the sheets although requested. The rooms always smell good and the staff they all are amazing, helpful and sweet! If your looking for a upscale vibe in a newer section this is the place you want to be.

You can have an eco stay. There is no pot, refrigerator, TV. The outlet is only 1 in the room, and the electric capacity is low, so you can't use it even if you bring a dryer, and you can only use it for charging your smartphone or tablet. The location by the sea is good, but there is a club in front and it is noisy until midnight every day depending on the room. If you close the window, you won't hear it a little, but there is no air conditioner in the room, so if you don't open the window, it's hot and you can't sleep. So it may not be suitable for those who want to relax quietly.

GGuest User The staff is amazing! Our visit was over Chris**as. We stayed in the adventure penthouse with the suspension bridge access. Unfortunately and very unexpected the restaurant was not open. I inquired about making reservations for Chris**as Eve and Chris**as.. I was not informed that it was closed. That was the only disappoin**ent and inconvenience. You will need a taxi or take a bike to get supplies. Town is close and a nice adventure 😉. They provide cookware for the stove top. The stairs connect each floor. When it rains they get very slippery. My husband slipped and fell, be very careful The rooms are beautiful. Everything you need even big spray! Use it!!!! We were not a big fan of the rainshower over the tub with no curtain. Everything gets wet and the floors get slick so you end up using the towel to dry the floors. The private rooftop space with the plunge pool is amazing. The pool swing needs updating. The bikes to town were the best. We also did the beach. We definitely want to explore more next time. Rubi is definitely a very special place. If the restaurant would have been open it would have been perfect! The new airport opened in Tulum. That will make it easier.. It is down a bumpy dirt road. We had difficult time getting a cab to bring us back when we went into town for dinner. Need a van or SUV. Make sure you arrange this ahead of time.. It was the little hiccups that made the experience that much more special. We are very easy going so we made the best of it. We look forward to returning and experiencing Baxale..

GGuest UserSuper sad about this experience, we choose this hotel accordong to the reviews but during our stay we totally don’t get why people recommend this hotel. The staff probably doesn’t know what hospitality means. Our room was dirty when we arrived, the pool is full of leaves all the time, the bed is very uncomfortable and the pillows - it feels like they are full of clothes, like jeans or jackets - not any of pillow material :) :) :) The first night there was a party near the hotel and the music was extremely loud, so we couldn’t sleep, next morning at the front desk they said “what music? There is no music, we didn’t hear it”. We left tips for the houskeeper for celaning, but when we got back to the hotel - the tips were taken, and the trash bin was left full, the sink was dirty and our wet towells were taken from the floor and put back on the shelf :) :) i know it, because I used it before I left, it was wet in the same place and taken from the floor (front desk told us to leave them on the floor if we want to get our towells changed) :) day after - we left our hotel at 8:30, get back - 3:30 no evidence that houskeeping was in our room. Ow, and I didn’t hear “sorry for that” once, front desk manager seems polite but doesn’t help with anything. If you want a pool towel you can only get one a day, and some of them are ripped and discoloured :) So this hotel is totally not worth the price or the reviews that it has. I stayed in Tulum for the same price in another hotel and got amazing experience. So be aware before spending your money ! :)

GGuest UserA very functiona, pleasant hotel considering the design of the commom areas. The rooms are large, with a clean setting that still lacks some amenities (just an open rack for clothes, no towel hangers). Our room (# 110), shared an opaque glass window with the internal hall that let through the light: a nuisance for a good night's sleep; the room's design does not include a well iluminated mirror necessary for makeups, put on contact lenses or shavings. Their employees ate very attentive and take a good care of the maintenance. Beyond the swimming pool area (surrounded by a nice garden),, the building's terrace offer a nice 360⁰ view of the region besides 4 very confortable cubic pools. The restaurant where breakfast is served also offers lunch service: even though it doesn't have a wine list, they will charge you a 500 pesos (around US$ 30,00) as a corkage fee.

GGuest UserWe had an overall wonderful experience for our 7 days spent at Hotelito Azul! We went with another couple and each stayed in the Oceanfront Suites (we were above them, they were ground level). The rooms were clean and spacious. Somewhat limited storage for clothes but we made the best of the shelving/hanging unit provided. The shower is a dream. The maid service cleaned our room daily and did a wonderful job! We loved the treats left on our pillows each day. AC was yours to control. One challenge we faced that would have a simple fix was the lack of rugs in the room. You’re walking through sand to get to your room and yes, there’s a bucket of water to rinse before entering however we were desperate for a small outdoor rug or just something at either the sides or foot of the bed to brush off sand before getting in bed. Interestingly, our friends downstairs had an awesome runner at the foot of their bed so maybe just consistency with that would make a huge difference! You wake to a cute basket with coffee each morning and they will refill your drinking water as much as you need it in the room. We can’t say enough good things about the staff. You communicate to them through What’sApp which offered quick responses to any questions or concerns or when ordering food/drink. Larissa, the concierge was WONDERFUL. She welcomed us every day and made us feel right at home and taken care of during our stay. She helped fill out trip with wonderful experiences whether it be tours, great local spots for food/drink or logistics. We rented scooters from the hotel the majority of our vacation days and it was well worth it. We did find the prices just across the street were cheaper however we liked the convenience of renting through the hotel. The food and drink at the hotel is all delicious, although we quickly learned that eating and drinking on the beach does get expensive, so we chose wisely when/how much we ate at the hotel. This just comes with the location. The physical location of the hotel is ideal because it isn’t too far down into the beach strip, which traffic became pretty bad the further you drove in. The aesthetic and details of the hotel are perfect for making you feel like you’re living in a whimsical jungle. FYI to all looking to stay on the beach in Tulum, during April-November or so, Tulum gets a massive amount of seaweed that makes it nearly impossible to swim in the ocean. The hotels, including Hotelito Azul, do their best to remove as much seaweed from the beach as possible, but man, is it an uphill battle. This limited our ability to sit out on the beach unfortunately, because the only relief from the heat was the outdoor shower. Which, again, is lovely, but not the ocean. Luckily, Tulum has so many other wonderful things to do that we did not feel this impacted our trip in any significant way. Those that travel during the better months have a lovely beachfront area to look forward to at Hotelito Azul. All in all, we loved our stay at this hotel and look forward to returning in the future! Thank you all!

Very Good
GGuest UserWe've been for only 2 days at the Diamante K. It is located directly and the beach and a reaaallly beautiful resort. The bungalows are pretty small and don't have AC but a vent and the vent was rly good. We booked a bungalow with a shared bathroom and everything was completely fine and clean. Just that you know, you pay more for the location at the beach than the room itself, I think it would be a little bit expensive if it wouldn't be at the beach. There are free yoga classes every morning and you get conditioner and after sun and water. All the staff was rly friendly. We have been there in June 2023 and the sea**** is really not that bad. They have some ppl who carry it away from time to time but you have more sea**** if you go to Greece in summer. The only thing we found a lit bit annoying is that you have to pay every time you eat or drink something in the resort and if you eat sth at the beach and then go to the toilette for a minute but leave all your staff at the beach, they immediately ask you when and how you pay and follow you. You have to pay a deposit of 150 USD in the beginning and I think it is a little bit over the top to then follow the guests because of a 10€ meal when they go to the toilette for a sec. Maybe either way just come with the receipt directly or sign the bill and pay it when you check out. But besides that, pretty beautiful!

GGuest UserMy wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 2 weeks here for our honeymoon. We stayed in villa 2 , room was big , great super king-size bed. The pool and views of the sea are amazing. Food wasn't great which is why I rated 4 stars. Everything else was amazing, the staff couldn't do enough for you, big mention to Francisco, Noemi, Jorge , and Freddy who catered to our every need, we can't thank them enough for their speedy service and attentiveness. Also a shout out to the entertainment staff Gio and Tati. To all the staff thank you so much for making our honeymoon so special. Love from Ireland to you all.
