YYully Kim1996This hotel is quite popular, and I managed to snag a south-facing balcony room for two days by booking a month in advance, then booked a north-facing room for the last day. The south-facing rooms are marketed for their Eiger views, but since we were on the second floor, most of our view was blocked by an old hotel undergoing renovation across the street. If you can get a higher floor, the south-facing rooms would be great. What was surprisingly good was the north-facing room on the last day; it also faced a beautiful hillside, got excellent, unobstructed sunlight, and had a very peaceful and lovely vibe. Plus, the rooftop terrace offers stunning views of both the north and south sides, so there's no need to be too particular about the room type. The hotel's location is definitely its best feature; it's incredibly convenient. Sometimes you can see the train arriving and still make it downstairs in time. After a day of hiking, it's amazing to step off the train and right into the hotel! For this price, it offers great value for money in Grindelwald during summer!

GGuest User各方面都挺好的我們住了兩晚，酒店就在first山的半山腰Bort這個纜車🚡上下點，其中有個遊樂項目Trottibike的起點就在這裏終點在山腳，我們要在first玩所以定了這個酒店，酒店不大總共10多個房間，房間沒有空調，夏天上半夜有點熱，下半夜就沒問題，冬天有制暖器。如果入住這裏大家一定記得提前在下午五點前check in，因為我們要在山下的小鎮格林德瓦坐纜車上來的，纜車最後一班大概在下午5點-6點，除非是自駕車，不然晚上上來酒店很麻煩。大家如果喜歡安靜且希望窗户直接可以看first景色的話這裏就挺好的，酒店下面吃自助早餐的位置也很好對着雪山，房間價格還行，下山做纜車衹有一站，從Bort到山下十多分鐘。對了酒店旁邊還有個適合小孩玩的小樂園。

Is pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel that left a lasting impression. From its impeccable design to the delectable breakfast, my experience was delightful overall. Although the weather didn't quite cooperate during my stay, the hotel's fantastic service more than made up for it.
The hotel's interior design is simply stunning. Every aspect of the decor exudes elegance and sophistication. The attention to detail is evident, and it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the premises. The architecture and furnishings are tastefully chosen, providing a luxurious and comfortable ambiance for guests.
One of the highlights of this hotel is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. Unfortunately, I encountered some bad luck with the weather during my stay, which limited my ability to fully enjoy the surroundings. However, even through the mist and rain, I could sense the beauty that lay beyond the hotel's windows. I can only imagine how magical it would be on a clear day.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Grindelwald for four nights. The hotel lobby offers complimentary coffee and tea, and outside of breakfast hours, the hotel restaurant is freely accessible to guests. You can use the microwave and induction cooker to prepare food, but you'll need to bring your own pots.
We dined at the restaurant next door five times in a row, and not once did we have a complaint. It seems 'white people food' didn't overwhelm our Chinese palates. A friendly tip: definitely don't order rice with Western meals; the undercooked rice in Switzerland is truly awful – we fell for it more than once.
The train and bus stations are just a two to three-minute walk from the hotel, making transportation incredibly convenient. Prices in Switzerland are exorbitant; a typical steak at a restaurant costs around 500, a fish dish about 400, and a bottle of sparkling water 85. For two meals a day, food alone can cost 1000 big bucks. Compared to back home, everything here is simply expensive.
The hotel provides luggage storage. After speaking with the front desk, they'll give you a key so you can store your luggage yourself, lock the door, and then return the key to the front desk.

GGuest UserI stayed for one night in a private room. The room was comfortable, but I couldn't charge my phone by the bed. The toilet and shower were shared on the floor, but I never ran into anyone. Breakfast was excellent, and the view was amazing. The guy at the front desk was very friendly, explained everything in detail, and was always ready to help. There are lockers for luggage storage and a laundry room. You can get there by bus or on foot, but it's better to walk without luggage. They provide a free travel pass.

QQIANThe hotel is halfway up the hill, some distance from the Grindelwald center and the train station. The hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be transported. We are self-driving. There is free parking in the hotel. It is relatively close to the cable car station of the first mountain. There are not many types of breakfast at the hotel. But it is enough, the biggest feature is the scenery, so beautiful! Whether it is a room or a place to have breakfast, look out for the snowy mountain, if you come to grindelwald next time, you will stay here!

GGuest UserIt's close to the station. The room is warmly furnished and the lighting is very atmospheric. It's amazing at first sight when you open the door! There were few choices for breakfast. I didn’t find any shampoo or shower gel until I took a shower on the first day. However, when we asked about it the next day, a guy at the counter helped us bring it to the room. Thank you!

SsieunIf you stay in Greendelwald, unconditionally recommended!!! Compared to all the nearby Eigerview accommodations, the cost performance was crazy, and the view was crazy!!
Every meal was bought at Coups and ate at the hostel ... No need for other luxury hotels!! Breakfast is also very good, the front desk staff are friendly and everything is perfect!

XXiaxiaxiayiranSwitzerland is really beautiful to live in Grindelwald. This hotel apartment is generally ordinary, but the scenery is really beautiful. If you want to live in the mountains, you need to choose what traffic is. Going to the center to shop needs to take the bus. It takes only a few minutes to take the bus. If you choose to walk for about 20 minutes, it will be very dry. The hotel can cook things but there is no range hood, so we can do it on the balcony, otherwise the whole room will smell of oily smoke. But watching the beautiful scenery cook and eat is also a special experience. It is worth coming once in a lifetime! But let me go for the second time, I will choose to live in interlaken or Tuen, young people are suitable for going to places with many people, and Greendwa is enough to go back and forth on the same day alone. Staying for 7 days is a bit boring

DDariaThe hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Also, potentially because it was in the middle of the mountain or it was winter, it felt very dry in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there can be a humidifier in the room.
However, the view of the room is absolutely worth it. You can look at mountains like Eigerblick just from your room and the breakfast buffet, and it is extremely breathtaking.
The breakfast buffet included was decent, with fruits, bread, cereal, some hot food and drinks. In particular the eggs were very nicely done.
The bathroom looks a bit old-fashioned and narrow, with slightly insufficient lighting, but overall it was clean and good.
The service was generally good. We were greeted with great smiles and friendliness by the reception and staff at the breakfast buffet.
Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it:)
