"Our stay at Hotel Chalet Swiss was one of the most amazing stays we have had. Our room had a clear view of Jungfrau which we could look out to every morning; the room was spacious and clean with that authentic Swiss Chalet interior. The breakfast was also excellent in a lovely dining room where the morning sunlight lights up the whole room. The staff were warm and friendly, especially the receptionist Natasha, who was always warm and genuine. The best hotel we’ve stayed in in Switzerland, and resting here made our amazing trip even better"

"This was my first time in Interlaken, and I chose Beatenberg Resort & Spa in Beatenberg Interlaken, a hotel with a century of history. From my room, I could see Lake Thun, and the surrounding scenery was absolutely breathtaking; every photo I took turned out beautifully. The hotel's facilities are quite unique. There's no air conditioning, but they provide a fan, and opening the window a bit makes it pleasantly cool. While the facilities aren't new, it's clear they are meticulously maintained, as everything was clean and tidy. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, with direct service to Interlaken West Station, which you can use for free with a guest card. However, we usually went to Interlaken Ost, and this bus only runs once an hour in the early morning and late evening, so most of the time we had to take an Uber. The breakfast was typical Swiss style, mostly cold cuts and bread. The croissants and hash browns were quite good! When we checked out, the handsome guy at the front desk seriously listened to our suggestions and said they would consider offering hot noodles, which would better suit Asian, especially Chinese, tastes. His attitude was excellent, showing that they are genuinely dedicated to running the hotel, which is commendable!"

"First, let's talk about the location. From Interlaken Ost station, turn right and walk straight for about 280 meters, and you'll arrive. Actually, you don't even need to exit the station; just walk to the end of the platform, and it's much closer. We discovered this later and always used that route – just make sure you know which platform to walk along directly, avoiding the underground passage. Second, the hotel service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They gave a thorough introduction to the hotel and important notices, specifically mentioning not to put food waste in the bins. For self-catered food, there's a dedicated dining area (Pic 8) where they provide free plates and cutlery, which you just need to return to the bar counter after use. We had to book a suite because all other rooms were full. The room was quite spacious, with a small balcony offering a nice view of the mountains behind (Pics 1, 2). The bathroom had a massage bathtub with lavender and ice salt available, which was incredibly relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was served in the back garden, and the setting was lovely. The only drawback was that the temperature hit 30 degrees Celsius during our first few days, and the room had no air conditioning. (Hotels with AC are rare there, which is understandable, but I still hope they'll improve this in the future, especially with global temperatures rising). After contacting the front desk, they provided a fan, which helped a lot. In the following days, the temperature dropped, and it was fine; after all, it gets cool in the mountains at night. The hotel's decor style truly resembles a vintage European hotel. Plus, there's a row of seats and tables outside the entrance, which is a great spot to sit and enjoy the street view in the evening. Directly opposite the hotel is the cable car station for the Harder Kulm viewpoint, and Hohematte Park is just a short walk away. Third, directly across from the train station is a large Coop supermarket that has pretty much everything. As others have mentioned, the roasted chicken is indeed cheap and delicious, about 7 CHF for half a chicken. It closes at 7 PM, but there's also a smaller Coop supermarket inside the train station that closes at 9 PM. It has fewer varieties than the main one, but it still covers basic food needs, even if the selection isn't huge."

"This hotel feels more like a 3-star than a 4-star. Pros: Excellent location, good air conditioning. Cons: It's primarily a hotel for tour groups, so it feels quite chaotic until you get to your room. When I first entered the room, I was a bit taken aback by how haphazardly the towels and bedding were arranged. However, I stayed for 3 nights, and when I requested room cleaning on the last day, it was sparkling clean—the cleanest it had been. It seems the quality of cleaning varies greatly depending on who does it. The breakfast, in particular, was really disappointing. For a 4-star hotel, it's quite a letdown overall. Even the coffee machine was an old Swiss model, which is surprising given how many guests there are. I wouldn't recommend staying here again unless the price is significantly cheaper compared to other 4-star hotels."

"Stayed 2 nights. Location is fantastic! Surrounded by many shops and eateries. Short walk to Interlaken OST station or just hop on to a bus just 1 stop away. Bus stop is just 2 mins walk from hotel. Very convenient. Hotel room furnishing is very old fashion. Room a bit not clean. Pilow really flat, like a thicker floor mat. The bed is not comfortable too. Toilet bowl base is a bit disgusting. No slipper, toothbrush or shower cap etc provided. Having to leave the room key at the reception is a hassle or you carry a heavy key chain out. This hotel do provide chargeable use of washing machine and dryer."

"This is a lovely hotel with a lot to offer. The location is truly excellent—close to public transport and within walking distance of the main station. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and very clean.  The only area that didn't meet our expectations was the breakfast. The selection was quite limited, and the quality didn't seem to match the rest of the hotel experience. It was the one thing we were disappointed with. Despite the breakfast, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and comfortable rooms."

"The location is excellent, right in the heart of Interlaken's commercial street, making it very convenient for getting around, dining, and shopping. The room is spacious, and the cleanliness is meticulously maintained. It's especially comfortable with the balcony; opening the window reveals a delightful view of snow-capped mountains and green meadows, which is truly a treat for the eyes!"

"The hotel was fantastic, with excellent service. They even upgraded my room! Its location is super convenient, just a short right turn from Interlaken West train station. There are also plenty of service centers and restaurants nearby, including a good Chinese restaurant called 'Taoranju'."
