"The hotel is located nearby the train station (around 5-10mins walk) and there are many supermarkets nearby. The hotel staff is super friendly, and has a very cheerful personality. Loved the fact that they provide water/tea/coffee options at their lobby, and they provide cutleries too (important if you purchase takeout sometimes). The view from the room is pretty nice."

"This is an old-fashioned hotel with over a hundred years of history in the area. It's a combination of two classical hotel buildings, a modern central lobby and restaurant built more recently, and a two-story modern apartment-style accommodation at the back. The two classical hotel buildings are Carlton and Europe. Their interiors have been largely optimized for modern needs. The current hotel owners, while renovating, had to adhere to government regulations for preserving the antique structure. However, the rest of the amenities have been modernized as much as possible, with original wood flooring used for repairs and replacements. Overall, it's a very good hotel! Breakfast is buffet-style, but the selection is essentially a Swiss-European breakfast: yogurt, bread and jam, juice, hot tea and coffee, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, pan-fried shredded potatoes, fruit, and various cheeses and cold cuts. For tourists not accustomed to Western-style meals, it might be a bit challenging. The restaurant also offers additional egg dishes or other options for an extra charge – but you have to pay more! The location is very convenient. Right outside is Interlaken Ost station, the starting point for various attractions in the Alps. You can even take a boat from here to the small town of Brienz, or to Iseltwald, famous for the Korean drama 'Crash Landing on You.' Both the pier and the small castle are stunning scenic spots. Upon check-in, the front desk provides a free bus pass, allowing you to take buses to explore various towns. This is different from the mountain trains and cable cars, which require extra payment to go up the mountains quickly. Generally, most attractions stop going up the mountain after 5 PM, so it's best to start early in the morning to make good use of your time! However, this hotel still has its drawbacks. For example, while the water supply is comprehensive, the hot and cold water stability is very poor. Turning on the hot water can be scalding, and sometimes it suddenly turns cold mid-shower, then becomes super hot again. The showering experience is quite subpar! Each guest room uses a classical keyhole lock for opening and closing the door. There's no modern double-bolt lock; you have to lock the door from the inside with the door key. The upside is that once locked from the inside, the keyhole is filled by the key, preventing anyone from picking the lock from the outside. When you go out and lock up, the heavy key can be left in the mail slot at the front desk, or entrusted to the front desk for safekeeping, in a classic manner! Most importantly, this hotel does not allow children! According to the owner's vision, he wants this hotel to be adult-focused, allowing busy people to enjoy their own time while traveling and recharging, rather than having to take care of children during their vacation. This way, adults can truly live for themselves. Therefore, this hotel does not allow guests under 16 years old. If you plan to book with children, please look for accommodation elsewhere – it's better for both parties! Overall, this is a good place for mature individuals to stay, perfect for those focused on enjoying mountain excursions. Who wouldn't want to return to their hotel immediately after coming down the mountain to rest?"

"The location is super convenient, right next to Platform 1 of Interlaken West station. There's a large supermarket directly opposite where you can buy groceries to cook in the apartment, and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. We stayed in an apartment, which was very spacious, and the facilities were well-maintained and quite new. Although we arrived in late May, we unfortunately hit a European heatwave with temperatures around 27-28 degrees Celsius. Since the apartment didn't have air conditioning, it was quite uncomfortable. I saw in the reviews that the hotel usually offers two fans per apartment, so I immediately called the front desk to ask if they could provide one. They said they could provide one. As there were two bedrooms, I asked if we could have two, and the front desk directly replied: 'No, you can only request one fan.' Their attitude felt a bit unfriendly. Also, in apartments without air conditioning, a fan should really be considered a basic amenity and not something guests have to specifically request."

"Had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Lötschberg. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast didn’t have a huge variety, but everything was fresh and tasty, which made it more than satisfying. The location is also a big plus — just a short walk from the train station, making it super convenient for getting around. Overall, a comfortable and easy stay, and I’d definitely consider coming back!"

"I chose the 4-day family suite, which comes with two double beds. The mattresses were comfortable and clean, and the room even has a balcony. The only thing that could be improved is the addition of air conditioning—that would make it absolutely perfect. The hotel features a common area equipped with a microwave and a kettle, where you can heat up food or boil water. They also provide self-service tableware, which is a great amenity. The location of the hotel is excellent! There is a bus stop right outside the entrance downstairs that goes directly to the train station."

"This hotel was honestly a really good value for the price. The location is very convenient — less than a 5-minute walk from the train station, and there are also bus stops nearby, so getting around was very easy. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a nice atmosphere. Opening the window in the room, you can see calm and peaceful scenery outside, which made the stay feel very relaxing. The room and bathroom were nice, and the bathroom had a separate shower area, which was really convenient. One thing I especially appreciated was the shared dining area. There was a place to boil water, make coffee or tea, and they also provided microwave, basic utensils and tableware. It was very useful for us since we brought some instant noodles and simple food back to the hotel at night. Haha, the selection of one British tea brand they provided here felt even more varied than what I usually see in supermarkets back in the UK. The staff were also very kind and helpful. I accidentally lost a T-shirt there, but they contacted housekeeping for me and eventually found it. I really appreciated their help. We stayed here for two nights, and because the hotel was fully booked for our last night in Interlaken, we moved to another hotel that was more expensive. But we still preferred this one because it felt more comfortable and practical for travelers like us."

"Stayed at twin deluxe room which is newly renovated and on the higher floors. Chose this specific twin room because of its size. Pros: 1. Hotel staff were friendly both at reception and breakfast 2. Rooms were fairly large and modern, views were incredibly (ask for mountain facing room) 3. They will give you an Interlaken guest card. 4. Location is about 7-10 mins walk from Interlaken West Station and surrounded by high-end shops. 5. There's free self-service coffee and tea making area at one of the floors and its helpful if you have a jug/bottle to fill cold/hot water Cons: 1. Same breakfast everyday and it lacked variety 2. No kettle nor cups to make hot drinks (notice this is the case with hotels in Switzerland 3. TV channels were mostly in German language"

"I was very satisfied. The location is excellent, right in the bustling area of Interlaken. The front desk service was fantastic. The room had a coffee machine, an electric kettle, tea bags, and a bottle of mineral water. Plus, it came with a balcony, making for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was also included. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit."
