"To experience the local religious culture, I made a special trip to Shadian, Gejiu, and stayed at the Shadian Hotel (Gejiu High-Speed Rail Station branch). The owner was incredibly welcoming. The room itself was modern and well-equipped, with a lovely mini-bar, comfortable bedding, and was spotlessly clean, spacious, and bright. I especially want to commend the shower head setup; in addition to the fixed bracket above, they also installed one lower down, which is incredibly convenient for washing. This kind of thoughtful detail is very rare and shows how much care the management puts in. The hotel is very close to the mosque, and Shadian Snack Street is also easily accessible, making for a pleasant stroll. The owner recommended Shadian Shicui restaurant, and the food was excellent and reasonably priced, especially the braised beef – it was absolutely delicious and highly recommended!"

"The room was spotless, decorated in elegant tones, and had a faint, pleasant scent of agarwood. The air conditioning was very quiet, the pillows were soft, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The owner, a young and gracious woman, was incredibly kind and went out of her way to meet guests' needs. In the evenings, she even hosted a tea ceremony around a fireplace with guests, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Best of all, it's right next to Shadian Grand Mosque and Shadian Food Street, making sightseeing a breeze. The surrounding area is lush with trees, creating a truly elegant and tranquil environment!"

DDanny5306When traveling long distances with children, we always choose Hanting as a transit station. It is clean, sanitary and comfortable. We can also do free laundry by ourselves. GGuest UserOverall hotel and hotel owner is fine. However in the night no WiFi have in room. In morning elevator not working. You can see grand mosque 🕌 of shadian from room window 🪟. However, they remove green tombs Arabic structure which was the identity of grand mosque 🕌 and now they renovating into Chinese architecture. Renovation will complete in July 2024. So, it’s worthless to visit shadian town before July 2024. There are few new mosque 🕌 around town. Overall , Shadian is very peaceful town with friendly people.

This stay was very clean and was in between the station i came from and the mosque. ******* rides around this stay helped me easily access everything.
