"Excellent hotel! It's clean, comfortable, and the service is great. The location is ideal, not far from the train station and Chenghuang Temple, both within walking distance. There are also attractions nearby like Shuixian Temple and the Catholic Church. The hotel gym is also very good. I'm very satisfied with this hotel."

"I was originally supposed to stay at XinYue in Toufen for four days, but on the second day, when I went back to rest at noon, they charged me, and the room wasn't even cleaned. So I checked out on the second day (and was charged an additional 409 NTD), and moved to Xinyuan in Hsinchu. It was surprisingly satisfying, honestly many times better than the one in Toufen. I highly recommend it here."

"Highlights: ✨ This hotel is incredibly photogenic, especially the Crystal Chapel on the 5th floor. Its pristine glass structure, long white walkway, and the mirror-like pool perfectly reflecting the building's silhouette create a serene atmosphere. It's an absolute must-visit photo spot! ✨ The location is excellent. It's about a 5-minute walk to Big City shopping mall and a 15-minute walk to Chenghuang Temple Night Market. The parking lot is spacious with plenty of spots, making it easy to park. 🛋️ Accommodation Experience: • Mysterious Odor: The most unpleasant part was the inexplicable odor that occasionally emanated from the room or hallway, which was a real drawback. • Bed Comfort: The room's hardware was decent, but the bed and pillows were quite soft and lacked sufficient support. 🍳 Breakfast Performance: • Overall, the breakfast selection was quite rich, featuring ice cream, drinks, and desserts. I particularly recommend the freshly fried sunny-side-up eggs and omelets – they were excellent! Other hot dishes were pretty standard. The room design felt a bit dated, and the power outlets were in rather odd places. Details like chipped wood or tiles at the corners of door sills were noticeable, but this is also reflected in the room rate."

"I always stay here when I visit Hsinchu. The rooms are spacious, and the location is super convenient. It's definitely my top choice! I especially love the blueberry vinegar among the free drinks; besides coffee, they now even have two types of Thai milk tea, which is a great addition! 👍 The breakfast selection isn't huge, but they change it up a bit every day, which is nice and keeps things from getting boring. Right next to the hotel is a very popular vegetarian restaurant. Their soups are packed with ingredients, and the chestnuts in them are incredibly fragrant. Just make sure to check their opening days as they have quite a few days off. But they get a lot of dine-in and takeout orders, and every bowl is cooked fresh, so the owners (I think?) are super busy! 🤣"

"Hotel is quite nice, staff was very friendly and room as clean and equipped nicely. Breakfast was expansive with a good selection for everyone. The location is within walking distance to many things. We took a nice walk to the science park area and visited one of the local temples. There is also a nice speakeasy bar within 10 min walk (kind of hidden past the starbucks up the hill). I would definitely recommend this hotel to business visitors or tourists as well."

"The location is convenient, close to Hsinchu Station, and within walking distance to places like Chenghuang Temple. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. While not brand new, it was functional and reliable. Breakfast was acceptable, and the self-service coffee was a nice touch. 👍"

"It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station to the accommodation, located in a small alleyway, making it a bit hard to find. However, there are many attractions nearby, and it's close to department stores, the City God Temple, the Central Market, and the East Gate Market, so the location is quite good."

"Pros: Breakfast is perfect, very good combination of western and *********. Location is perfect if you are visiting Jiao Tong University and Tsinghua University. Only a couple of bus stops. Very authentic local restaurants around. Employees are willing to help. Free soda in the fridge, decent gym. Good balcony view in certain rooms. Cons: My room was clean but shower head was loose, although I was able to fix it myself, it made the bathroom a chaos. Shampoo and bodywash are not good considering it's a 4-star. Electronic bidet that cleans you but doesn't dry you out... public baths could be a good place to relax, but it only open 4-10pm, which is not friendly to travellers who only stay for the night."

"The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the bathroom even featured a bidet toilet seat, which was a pleasant surprise! There was also a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak. On the ground floor, complimentary essential oils and bath salts were available for guests to take back to their rooms. The top floor offered washing machines (with detergent provided) and dryers. And the breakfast spread was quite good!"

"I stayed on a weekday, so the price was quite reasonable. The location is excellent, right next to Big City, and it's less than a 10-minute walk. The room wasn't huge, but the soundproofing was decent, and it was very clean. The breakfast was really delicious! I'd definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Hsinchu!"
