"The arrangements completely exceeded my expectations. I initially didn't want to stay in such an old hotel, but upon arrival, I found it was very well-maintained and clean. Surprisingly, there weren't many mosquitoes either. The staff were very attentive and generally met every request from guests, making for a truly wonderful stay. The night tour was particularly fantastic; my family participated, ate ants, saw birds sleeping at night, and marveled at the starry sky – it was absolutely worth it! It's amazing how this hotel hasn't let its unique geographical location compromise its service quality. The only minor drawback was a slight odor in the bathroom, possibly due to aging pipes. However, this didn't detract from the overall excellent experience. If I have the chance, I'll definitely come back."

"This place was feels like home! You gwt this feeling of boutique hotel that takes care of the little things - convenient parking, comfortable rooms, friendly staff.
Beds are very comfortable and they took seriously our request about non-smoking room. Hotel has great sound isolation, you can not hear neibours.
Also, breakfast is very nice - with some freshly cooked noodle soup and plenty of food suitable for international guests.
We loved to stay here, big thank you to the hotel staff!!!"

"During the off-season, the hotel was incredibly quiet, I barely saw anyone all day. The hotel is small but beautiful, with lovely greenery and aesthetically pleasing decor. While it's clear the hotel has been around for a while and some areas are showing their age, for the off-season price, it's still unbeatable value for money.
Overall it was great, but there are a few areas that could be improved:
1. The public restrooms. It's excellent that they provide hand towels after washing your hands, but the lighting is dim, and the labels on the hand soap and lotion bottles next to the sink are very hard to read; you have to get very close to see them.
2. The pool. They could definitely provide towels by the pool.
3. The food. This was quite disappointing. Breakfast wasn't particularly outstanding (especially the dessert section), and the complimentary afternoon tea was truly awful. You could tell immediately it was frozen instant food that had just been taken out and not fully thawed – everything was soft and mushy on the outside but hard on the inside. Also, I don't think the hotel's fruit selection was good; it was all bland and tasteless, which I think is unacceptable.
Despite these points, let me highlight the biggest positive: the service. The hotel's service rivals that of some luxury hotels. Staff always smiled and greeted guests, responded very quickly to requests, and the shuttle service was available on demand. There was also turn-down service, with rooms cleaned twice daily, morning and evening, and even guests' clothes neatly arranged.
Another plus is that the hotel's back entrance is close to the botanical garden, which is perfect for those who want to visit at night or early in the morning to avoid crowds. It's also ideal for spending one day near the Wangtianshu Scenic Area and then just relaxing at the hotel for the rest of the time. I had a wonderful weekend here."

"It is undoubtedly the best hotel in Mengla. It is worth mentioning that among so many hotels in the world, this is also the hotel with the best service and the most popular service. Manager Zhang of the hotel contacted me a week in advance and added WeChat, saying that he could provide a series of services and help. Of course, other hotels also have this kind of advance communication service. One day in advance, Manager Zhang arranged a room for me and kindly reminded me if I had any needs. It felt that service was really supreme. He was still replying to my WeChat in the middle of the night to explain the situation of the nearby scenic spots. After arriving at the hotel, Manager Zhang came out to greet us in person, politely, and sent us to the room. He left after making arrangements. After checking in, Manager Zhang booked a package for the Wangtian Tree, which was cheaper than the scenic spot. During the stay, you can say WeChat at any time and solve it immediately. "The hotel offers a pickup service, which was absolutely perfect! The owner herself picked us up and dropped us off. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. This place was a pleasant surprise, offering excellent value for money. GGuest UserI had planned to go to Banna for a few days during the Spring Festival. When I booked a hotel on Ctrip, I found that the room rates had doubled. The 7 Days Inn chain, which usually costs only over 100 yuan, also soared to over 1,000 yuan a night (the people of Banna want to make back the money they didn't make in three years in 7 days). What I hate most is these places that rip off customers like crazy during holidays. So I decided to change my plan and go to Luang Prabang, Laos. Since it is not possible to buy D87 transit train tickets during the Spring Festival, you can only buy tickets in sections, first Kunming-Mohan, then cross the border in Mohan to Boten, Laos, and then Boten-Luang Prabang. I took the train to Mohan on February 13th and booked this homestay on Ctrip. It has a high score of 4.8 on Ctrip, so it must be good. I contacted the hotel before arriving in Mohan, and the hotel guy said that he would pick me up at the train station and send me to the border the next day. Sure enough, as soon as I got out of the station, the young man was waiting on the road in front of the train station. After checking in, I was amazed by the intelligence of the hotel, including smart curtains, smart toilets, and showers with digital temperature display. The room was spacious and tidy, and the bedding was clean and fresh. Although I have stayed in many B&Bs, this one is definitely the ceiling among B&Bs. Moreover, the guy is very handsome, and I’m worried that the girl will continue to stay! The only regret is that the hotel does not have breakfast, it would be perfect if there was breakfast.

TTakemeeverywhereIt was a perfect stop before passing the border of Lao. The employees are great and helpful. They could even provide us with some cash to be able to pay our visa at the border.
The breakfast buffet was delicious, they even made something special for us as they thought we don't like chinese breakfast.
The room was beautiful and very clean with a very nice view on a lushy green scenery. The bed was very confortable. They had already turn on the AC before we enter the room, that shows such a good service. There is a very good restauraurant ”Jinsong...” just 5 min walk on the main road.

GGuest UserThis hotel was amazing. It’s only a year old but the amenities look like it’s brand new and inside of the room seems no different from a five-star. The only thing missing was a bathroom scale. Nice courtyard pool below just big enough to do some short laps and a kilometer from the night market. Interesting little area and they have street side eatery outside with a good view. The best part though is the manager Mr. Wu was exceptionally helpful. When he saw me arriving by bicycle, he did everything he could to make my stay more pleasant and even offered to go the extra mile with extra service and help. An unbelievable bargain, and a nice end to my journey.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to the Nanla River, and the environment is lovely. It's both the starting and ending point for the Nanla River rafting. You can walk right out of the hotel to the Manlong Village market, and just a bit further, there's a huge dragon fruit field. The breakfast felt outsourced; not much variety and pretty standard. There aren't many dining options nearby. If you're coming for Wangtianshu Scenic Area and rafting, I'd recommend staying here. The cleanliness is acceptable, and the front desk staff are quite friendly and helpful!

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel I stayed at this time did not include breakfast, the overall experience was very good, and the price in the early 100s completely exceeded my expectations.
First of all, the location is excellent. The hotel is right next to the government center and it takes only 8 minutes to walk to the subway station. It is super convenient to go to the attractions and business districts. There are also many places to eat around, convenience stores, breakfast shops, various restaurants are all available, completely making up for the inconvenience of no restaurant, but choosing more diverse.
Secondly, the room was clean and tidy. This is my most important point. Although the room is not big, the layout is reasonable, the bedding is clean and comfortable, and there is no smell. The bathroom was cleaned thoroughly, the wet and dry separation was done well, and the toiletries were complete. The sound insulation effect is much better than I expected, it is quiet at night, and the quality of sleep is very high.
Finally, the service is thoughtful. The front desk staff was very welcoming and the check-in and check-out were very fast. I needed to print things temporarily, and the front desk was very happy to help solve them. There were any problems during the stay and the response was very timely.
Overall, this is a very cost-effective hotel. If you value the location, clean and convenient, and don't rely on the dining in the hotel, then this is definitely a very good choice. I will definitely stay here next time I come to this city!

Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby, so you definitely won't go hungry. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and accommodating. Highly recommended! The photos are of the botanical garden. I don't usually take pictures of hotel facilities; just doing this for the points, haha!

PPsymondThough an old hotel with a squat toilet, this hotel provides excellent value for its price due to its warm service and convenient location near the train station. They provide free pick up and drop off service to and from the train station; the boss was also kind enough to take us to and pick us up from the Lao border for 40 yuan each way. Despite facing the road and hearing the morning roosters, the air-conditioning and strong water pressure made the room adequate for our needs.

Location is perfect if you want to enter in Tropical botanical garden or CAS research institute from west door only need 1 minute walk on suspension bridge 🌁 and direct entrance of tropical botanical garden ( A must view scenic place very peaceful and beautiful garden. There is also a coffee , bars and massage centers as well as shops and markets. I will give 70/100 rating points to this hotel from all prospective.

GGuest UserBringing my son to play in the Yuanyuan Wonderland, I chose a hotel for a long time, and I felt that the hotel was in the scenic spot, so I chose this one. Throughout the process, the hotel's service is thoughtful and welcoming. The battery car will pick up and drop off at the visitor center. The room is relatively large. There is a large green rice field behind it. There is a small river next to it. The lawn is behind it, and the front and back are unobstructed. The rest is very quiet at night and the air is fresh. Breakfast was eaten at Huajianyuan Hotel and it was very rich. Very satisfied!
