"We had a truly wonderful 3-night stay at Park Plaza (LiTing), Wenchang, Hainan. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and professional, making us feel immediately welcome and well taken care of.
The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful amenities that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the quiet environment, which allowed us to rest well after our daily outings.
The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and everything was conveniently arranged. The location is also a great advantage—peaceful yet accessible, making it easy for us to explore Wenchang without hassle.
What truly stood out was the excellent service from the staff. They were always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any request, which made a big difference to our overall experience.
Overall, we are very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wenchang. We would definitely return again in the future!"

"I've stayed at four Hilton hotels across Hainan, and this one definitely feels a bit old. Seriously, two or three outlets in our room (3517) were broken!?! And while the public areas are by the sea, they're not particularly beautiful and lack that relaxed, resort-like vibe. The pool isn't great either, and only one was open, so I didn't even bother using it. Breakfast was especially bad – they must be cutting corners too much! My husband even pointed out that their Hainan specialty 'Zaopo Vinegar' didn't even have any seafood in it!
Also, I have to speak up for the little animals. Those few squirrels are quite pitiful; their activity space is too small. It feels a bit like animal cruelty. They should be released; it would be a truly meritorious act!"

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise for me. As a beachfront hotel, it's rare for an older property to be outstanding, given the constant battle with sea breezes and typhoons, unless it's perpetually undergoing renovations.
Let's start with the pros:
1️⃣ The room was very clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. My child loves to touch and crawl everywhere, and even after wiping surfaces with wet wipes, they remained spotless.
2️⃣ When I reported an odd smell in the room, they responded quickly with a solution. Several staff members even followed up to ensure the issue was resolved, which was highly impressive.
3️⃣ The breakfast offered a wide variety. We booked a family room, which included breakfast for two adults. When my 80-year-old relative joined us at the restaurant, they didn't charge us for an extra person, which was a very thoughtful touch.
4️⃣ Many hotels push for good reviews, but this one didn't at all. Giving them a positive review truly feels like a genuine act of kindness, yet their service was exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. Big points for Wenchang!
Cons:
1️⃣ The hotel facilities are a bit dated. For example, the balcony door was a bit stiff, and there were noticeable gaps around the room door.
2️⃣ The complimentary travel photography was difficult to review.
3️⃣ The family-friendly amenities could be improved.
4️⃣ The beach wasn't maintained, but it was very close and uncrowded."

Level 6 is the restaurant where breakfast is served.

There is no gym room at this property.
Location is alright though eatery is a distance away.

"I booked this hotel in Wenchang for just over 100 [currency unit], and the location is great. There's parking right outside, and the staff helped me find a spot. The place feels quite new. Even though the TV and AC aren't top brands, they work perfectly fine. The service was excellent. On the day I checked out, I complained to the hotel staff about noise from the room above. When I checked out, the lady at the front desk apologized very warmly and even gave me a gift. This handling of the situation really touched my heart, so this positive review is for the lovely lady who assisted me during checkout. I truly hope your career and life path are smooth sailing from now on, all the best!"

"Staying at the Wenchang Jinshi International Hotel again was a great experience. The hotel's location is superb, just a two or three-minute walk to Gaolong Bay Beach. In the morning, you can enjoy a breathtaking sunrise from the balcony, and in the evening, a stroll along the beach with the sea breeze is incredibly relaxing. Transportation around the hotel is also convenient; it's not far to attractions like Dongjiao Coconut Grove and Global Wharf, making travel worry-free.
The service was even more warm and thoughtful. Our butler provided attentive follow-ups throughout our stay, proactively addressing our check-in needs and helping us plan our itinerary. Any issues we had after checking in were quickly and efficiently resolved with patience. The staff were enthusiastic and polite, always greeting us with a smile. Such meticulous service made us feel incredibly welcome.
Since it was our honeymoon, the hotel even helped with decorations, which was a very thoughtful touch ❤️.
The hotel restaurant also offers seafood processing services. We bought seafood at Global Wharf and brought it back to the hotel to be cooked. The price was the same as outside, and the dishes tasted great!"

The front desk receptionist was polite and enthusiastic, the room was comfortable, and the overall design was simple and generous. The variety of breakfast is rich and the taste is good, which makes people feel very satisfied. However, the soundproofing of the room is slightly poor, and the sound from the adjacent room can be heard clearly. I hope the hotel can improve the soundproofing and enhance the accommodation experience.

GGuest UserThis hotel is amazingly clean and at tip top condition as compared to Junhao Hotel during my stay in Hainan. Though it is a 5-8mins car ride from city, but, the it is a very pleasant stay. Highly recommend if you are looking for an accommodation in Wenchang. Oh..remember to purchase their shampoo and conditioner. It is so nice! Room is super big as well!! 🥰

GGuest UserThe room was clean and the service was good. It might be a new hotel, as there was a strong smell. There were also bugs in the room, and I got bitten over a dozen times. There's no breakfast, and the only nearby option is an old-style 'dad tea' place that wasn't very clean. There were a lot of flies, even on the egg tarts, and most of their food seemed to be pre-made and microwaved.

GGuest UserGot a room with a view to the river. Is near the old parts of the city and walking distance to Qilou. Room is clean and bright, quiet and big enough for 2 big bags. Reception staff are courteous and polite. Breakfast is very simple. No coffee though. A few metres away is a Lao Pa Cha shop. Can try out their breakfast/lunch there. Good old hainanese coffeeshop. Will probably stay again there

GGuest UserIn wenchang,this is considered a newer hotel. The breakfast spread is good. But has to make sure that when you check out,the front desk has done it well as we encountered problem when we check in another hotel in sanya and discovered that the city comfort hotel staff didn't check out for us through their computer so we couldn't check in into another hotel in sanya until we called them to do so. Wasted quite a bit of time for them to do so on the phone.

The hotel is very dated. Though the bedroom was decently clean, the bathroom was a mess. It had stain marks all over the walls. The groutings in the shower cubicle had mild dew stains and so was the anti-slip bath mat. It is definitely not fit to be used. The foldable wooden windows above the wash basin had rotted and the paint was coming off.
Coordination between front office and dining room staff was poor resulting in me being questioned about my eligibility to have breakfast. A moment of embarrassment. However the manager apologised and sent us a complimentary fruit platter and a pot tea.

OOtautahianI chose this hotel for its proximate to Qishui Bay Beach and the price. The buildings are all modern, bright and clean. My room was a delight: spacious and with air-conditioning in both the living room and bedroom. There is a gym with weights and running machines, and a decent laundry room attached to that. Breakfast was fresh and had a reasonable variety. When I visited (May 2025) there were only a couple of restaurants immediately near the hotel, but many family-run eateries are about a 12-minute walk away, towards the town to the west.
Special thanks to staff member, Divan, who spoke with me in English and was very helpful. Aside from Divan, all the staff were warm and welcoming.

Front desk not really helpful. Just want you to go as it was the whole time ”OK, OK...” and ”I'll take you to your room”...
But no help with luggage, nor an answer if the kitchen would have something for me to eat... I sent my list of allergies (gluten, dairy, egg, honey and soy) to the hotel's wechat the evening so that they could give it to the kitchen...
First room:
The fridge was not cold.
Bathroom floor wet and entrance floor dirty 😰
The manager came and was friendly and helpful. He helped me with my luggage to another room 8505, which was larger.
Here the fridge was also not really making cold and switched off when going out. They couldn't give an extra card for electricity.
In the morning the manager showed me the different food at the buffet that I could eat, but I never received the pork etc, he promised the previous evening, for breakfast nor answered my message when I asked if I should wait for it...
For breakfast I could eat the fruit and in a steam basket a piece of corn-on-the-cob, sweet potato, yam and taro. They also had corn flakes.
Interesting they had 3 milk options: cow milk, soy milk and coconut milk...
The second evening I spent an hour on Wechat with reception to find out if the kitchen could prepare something for me with my allergies - I did give it the previous evening.... Then I went for a walk on the beach... When I came back, they hadn't prepared the fish! The manager gave me a coconut with a straw to drink the juice...
So I only wasted my time to find out if they could prepare something - I did give them my list in Chinese of what I cannot eat...😰 Luckily I always have some food with me...
The fish tanks are outside the dining room so you can choose your fish fresh.... As in most places in China 😊

Very nice quiet environment away from the crowds! After the fireworks at 21:00 the outside lights were switched off and then you only hear the sea...
If you do not have transport, it is a bit far, but if you want to go and rest for a few days, away from crowds, then this is a good place 😎🤠🌻🏝️🏖️

GGuest UserI brought my children to Wenchang to participate in a competition. When I checked in, I felt bad. The two ladies at the front desk were chatting with each other. Because they were speaking in local dialect, they didn't know what was said.
However, it felt good to stay for five days. They would not take the initiative to clean the guest room or deliver water without request.
The room we stayed in was quite quiet, but it was impossible to sleep in this place without air conditioning, it was too hot.
