"Hotel has connecting family rooms available for booking. Hotel does not restrict smoking in non-smoking rooms. The rooms at level 8,9,10 had guests smoking in their rooms that affected ours via the aircon vents. Level 7 where laundry room is located, is also the same level for hotel members’ mahjong room = smoking rooms. 4 washer and 4 dryers + iron + board. Level 6 is the restaurant where breakfast is served. Typical Chinese cuisine breakfast. There is no gym room at this property. Location is alright though eatery is a distance away. Walking distance of 10mins to reach Waika International Hotel area where minimarts, fruits and restaurants can be found."

"After our trip to Shimei Bay, we arrived at the hotel with my entire family, including young children and elderly parents, along with several large suitcases. We were understandably quite tired from the journey. Upon arrival, it was clear that the hotel had a significant shortage of staff both inside and outside the lobby – a stark contrast to Shimei Bay, where service personnel were readily available everywhere. Although there weren't many guests checking in at the time, and the scene wasn't particularly busy, given our large group and numerous bags, I had to proactively request a luggage cart to make things easier. For a resort hotel that prides itself on the guest experience, the initial service response would be much better if it were more proactive and if staffing levels were more adequate. Regarding the room, the promotional pictures I saw when booking showed a sea-facing view with a visible beach. However, the actual view from our room was quite different from what we expected. While we could see the sea in the distance, our primary view was of the hotel's pool area, and the beach wasn't visible at all. The visual impression didn't match the promotional images. During the Chinese New Year period, the hotel organized various activities, some free and some with a charge, which is understandable. However, it was quite surprising to find that even digging for sand crabs on the public beach area required an additional fee. Compared to the hotel we stayed at previously in Shimei Bay, the activity planning here was indeed a bit lackluster. On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent. There was a rich variety of options, especially the Pandan Tofu Pudding, Pandan Pancakes, and various Hainan noodles. These were not only distinctive but also delicious, adding a wonderful culinary delight to our mornings. What truly impressed us was the mature food scene around the hotel. From Coconut Chicken, Wenchang Chicken, Ding'an Jumping Beef (which can be hotpot or BBQ), Baoluo Noodles, Hainan Noodles, to all sorts of desserts and snacks – the choices were incredibly diverse. This added a lot of local flavor and memorable gastronomic experiences to our trip. The hotel's beach area itself was quite good. The sea breeze, sand quality, and the overall experience were very relaxing and comfortable."

"Found the perfect hotel in Wenchang! It's brand new with a modern, light luxury design. The bedding is high-quality Carnation brand, paired with a down duvet and two pillows of different heights. It's incredibly soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. Little details like the one-touch call to the front desk and the huge 65-inch TV are thoughtful and convenient. You can really feel the care put into every aspect of the design. The lobby is spacious and bright, with free flow coffee available anytime. On the first floor, there's a laundry room and a business area, making it super convenient for working or handling tasks. With breakfast and coffee all included, all your travel and accommodation needs are met. The staff are warm and attentive, always quick to respond. Any request during my stay was promptly handled, truly making it a worry-free and comfortable experience. If you're visiting Wenchang for leisure or business, this hotel is definitely the right choice. The experience was fantastic, highly recommend!"

"The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. The hotel's internal environment is also very good. The room has a balcony, which is suitable for family outings. The dining area around the hotel is also good. There is a new energy charging station downstairs, and parking is free, which is suitable for self-driving and very convenient!"

"The hotel has been open for over ten years, so the facilities can't compare to newer hotels, but the overall service is good. They provided us with bike rental vouchers, and my family had a great time riding along the seaside boardwalk. It's also very close to the popular 'Seaside Library' attraction. Any issues we encountered during our stay were promptly and well-resolved by the front desk staff."

"Staying at the Wenchang Jinshi International Hotel again was a great experience. The hotel's location is superb, just a two or three-minute walk to Gaolong Bay Beach. In the morning, you can enjoy a breathtaking sunrise from the balcony, and in the evening, a stroll along the beach with the sea breeze is incredibly relaxing. Transportation around the hotel is also convenient; it's not far to attractions like Dongjiao Coconut Grove and Global Wharf, making travel worry-free. The service was even more warm and thoughtful. Our butler provided attentive follow-ups throughout our stay, proactively addressing our check-in needs and helping us plan our itinerary. Any issues we had after checking in were quickly and efficiently resolved with patience. The staff were enthusiastic and polite, always greeting us with a smile. Such meticulous service made us feel incredibly welcome. Since it was our honeymoon, the hotel even helped with decorations, which was a very thoughtful touch ❤️. The hotel restaurant also offers seafood processing services. We bought seafood at Global Wharf and brought it back to the hotel to be cooked. The price was the same as outside, and the dishes tasted great!"

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and their recommended restaurants were delicious. Plus, parking and EV charging downstairs were both very convenient."

"Booked this hotel for my parents. The location is great, right in the heart of the old town. It's about a 20-25 minute leisurely walk to Wenchang Old Street. The hotel itself is very new, I heard it's part of the Jinjiang group, and the facilities are quite high-end. The rooms are also spacious and comfortable. My parents said the breakfast was pretty good too. Definitely recommend staying here when visiting Wenchang!"

"The hotel's environment and service are excellent. The sea-view room offered a stunning sunrise! They even provided a complimentary 'goodnight soup' every evening, with a different one each night, which was a thoughtful touch. On the first day, we received a complimentary fruit platter! The hotel pool was large and clean, and the lifeguard was incredibly helpful – seeing I was struggling with my breathing technique, he proactively offered to teach me! I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!"

"The room is very spacious, and there's a large terrace with a great view. It was a comfortable stay. Plus, there are supermarkets and markets nearby, making shopping convenient. It's really suitable for a long stay."
