Stepping out the door, we can stroll along the ancient ferry crossing, taking in the breathtaking scenery. Even more surprising, the hotel's convenient transportation is incredibly convenient. We originally booked a king-size room, but upon learning we were traveling as a family of three, the front desk staff enthusiastically upgraded us to a twin room free of charge. The spacious room, with its two beds strategically placed, accommodated our children comfortably, while the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless and tidy. Every detail was meticulously thought out."

"Last time I went there, I booked three standard rooms at once. It's no exaggeration to say that those who travel to Zhenjiang recently can go there without a second thought. The location cannot be said to be completely in the city center, but Zhenjiang is too small, so it is super convenient to take a taxi, and most importantly, the hotel is very new! All facilities are in place. It's so happy to live here. The service attitude is also good. I'm too lazy to run around in the hot summer. There is a restaurant in the hotel lobby. The food is delicious and not expensive. It's no problem to travel with family. I was worried that it was Atour X. It's better than many Atour stores! There are parking lots both on the ground and underground. Here are some travel photos."

"Take the children to Zhenjiang to play during the summer vacation, and choose Huanpeng again.
The hotel is a little distance from Zhenjiang City, but it is very convenient and there are enough parking spaces.
On the morning of the check-in day, the front desk lady called to ask about the time, turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance, and the cool air in the room at night was stinging.
The front desk service is very warm, with children to check in will give a separate dental appliance and slippers, and there are small toys when checking out. The service is very thoughtful.
The room is not large compared to the friends who have lived elsewhere, and the two 1.35 meters bed room is slightly cramped. The bedding is soft and hard, and it is more comfortable to sleep all night.

"The location was excellent, near the historical 西津古渡 and The former British Consulate. The hotel was beautiful, built in the Republican period architectural style.
The landscape of the surrounding area was ideal. The garden was well kept. However the room carpet not very clean. The general cleanliness in the bathroom was acceptable.
Service was excellent. We forgot our password of the deposit box. The maintenance guy came and politely said must call the manager who came shortly after that. They were both very polite and professional."

AAnonymous UserHonestly this is the best hotel I stay during my whole trip in China. Once I enter the lobby to check in they serve us with a tea. One of the lady also know how to speak some English which is good for foreigners. They don't really question us that much regarding our visa like any other hotel. The lobby is also spacious and very nice interior. The room I book for 3 people is so big too it can fit for 4 people. We were given the 8th floor so we get the view of the front of Nanshan. The laundry area is really nice, everything is there! The laundry detergent, the iron. And what I like the most is they have laundry services in which the aayi will help you do your laundry and even fold them for you! 🤗 In our room we also have a sofa which is great! I also ask for a late checkout but they don't have problem with it at all. After check out they gave us another bottle of water. Overall this is the best hotel I've had so far and will definitely stay here again when I came to Zhenjiang!😍 5 STAR!!

GGuest UserRamada's service is beyond words. You are greeted at the door before you even enter the hotel. You really feel at home. Although the hotel is not big, it is very warm. It is very close to Beigu Mountain and within walking distance. It is also not far from other attractions. Far away, overall I was very happy about my trip to Zhenjiang.

GGuest UserMy stay in the Deluxe King Room at Danyang Xiangyi Hotel was truly excellent!
Firstly, the room was incredibly spacious, boasting modern decor and impeccable cleanliness. The king-sized bed was exceptionally comfortable, with a mattress that was just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom featured a convenient wet/dry separation, and the shower's strong water pressure was wonderfully invigorating. The provided toiletries were also of good quality.
Secondly, the hotel staff were fantastic; from check-in at the front desk to room service, everyone was warm, professional, and very attentive.
Finally, the location is ideal, especially for business travelers or those visiting Danyang to buy eyeglasses. You'll find a wide variety of dining and shopping choices within easy reach.
I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Danyang! I highly recommend it to all my friends.

AAnonymous UserTemporarily decided to Zhenjiang, chose a hotel close to the train station, walked out of the train station for seven or eight minutes to the hotel, taxi is also very convenient, the overall environment is good, the third floor is pedicure, and the hotel uses the same elevator, people feel more messy, the room door is not installed anti-theft chain, I suggest improving!

My stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.
HOWEVER, there is only one small problem.
When you book a room, please check very carefully if the room you are booking has a window or not. On the Trip.com site, it says; 'Has a window' 'Partially has a window' 'A fixed window' or something like this. Not only see some photos of the rooms on the website, but also carefully check if the room you are booking surely has a window or not.
When I checked-in, I was told that my room had NO window. It was O.K. if you were in your room only to sleep, because the room is large enough, clean enough and comfortable enough. Nothing is wrong with the room itself at all. However, I found on the following morning that I could not see how the weather was like until I actually went outside, because I could not see outside from the window.

As soon as I entered the lobby, the atmospheric decoration style attracted me. It was full of high-end sense and the layout was very festive, suitable for taking pictures and punching in! The room surprised me even more, the space was spacious and bright, and the details showed the quality. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the toiletries are of high quality and very comfortable to use. The hotel's service is first-class. From the front desk to the cleaning, everyone is smiling, especially the front desk Xiao Zhang makes me feel very warm. I also sent a small snack intimately, super love. The hotel's supporting facilities are also very complete, self-service laundry and robots to send things into the room, we ordered takeaway, and soon sent it over! !

GGlenysMGreenTree Inn, Jurong (Jiangsu Province) is an oldie but a goody! I stayed there for 5 nights in late August/early September (2025). At first glance I was a bit dubious, but it turned out to be a really great place to stay. I felt very safe there and in the neighbourhood (day and night) and would stay there again.
Excellent customer service ..… the Reception and cleaning staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
The first room I was allocated smelt of cigarette smoke (no thank you!), but I was immediately moved into a nicer smelling room, which was absolutely spotless, quite large, and had a nice new smart tv, air con, an opening window with a flyscreen and security bars (essential for a ground floor room), nice solid furniture, pure white linen (impressively imprinted with “GreenTree Inn”) and a clean, comfy doona and pillows. A standard hard’ish Chinese bed, but I find them quite comfy.
The old carpet runner along the length of the long ground floor hallway (where my room was) is a relic from way back when, but it was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel that I could see.
The shower head needed fixing, but that’s an annoyingly common problem in pretty much every budget ＞ mid range hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in China.
The hotel is only about 20 metres from Jurong Chongming Subway Station. Local bus stop almost at the front door (& across the road). The entrance to the old cobbled road (no cars allowed) & all its little shops is across the road at the lights, and a large pharmacy at the entrance (near the “archway”). Electric scooters galore to hire (via the AliPay or WeChat apps) outside the subway. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance once you get past the trades shops (plumbing supplies etc).
My only gripe about GreenTree Inn Jurong (& this is a gripe I have for many hotels etc throughout China) is that smoking is allowed on the premises. I think it’s the worst it’s been since 2002 when I first started travelling to China. It’s awful walking into foyers and lifts that reek of cigarette smoke, and copping wafts of the smoke along hallways from smokers in their rooms (& ashtrays at lift entrances), and horrible arriving tired after a long flight and long trek from airports etc, only to discover you then have to request a room change to escape the smoke, and start all over again. No matter how accommodating the staff are, I could easily do without that hassle and the horrible smell.
In my opinion, hotels etc in China need to up their game where that’s concerned, and follow the lead of the many countries which have banned cigarette smoking in all public buildings (including hotels), all public indoor and outdoor spaces, anywhere near children and shopping centres, on and near public transport etc etc etc.
