GGuest UserMy stay in the Deluxe King Room at Danyang Xiangyi Hotel was truly excellent!
Firstly, the room was incredibly spacious, boasting modern decor and impeccable cleanliness. The king-sized bed was exceptionally comfortable, with a mattress that was just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom featured a convenient wet/dry separation, and the shower's strong water pressure was wonderfully invigorating. The provided toiletries were also of good quality.
Secondly, the hotel staff were fantastic; from check-in at the front desk to room service, everyone was warm, professional, and very attentive.
Finally, the location is ideal, especially for business travelers or those visiting Danyang to buy eyeglasses. You'll find a wide variety of dining and shopping choices within easy reach.
I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Danyang! I highly recommend it to all my friends.

GGuest UserRamada's service is beyond words. You are greeted at the door before you even enter the hotel. You really feel at home. Although the hotel is not big, it is very warm. It is very close to Beigu Mountain and within walking distance. It is also not far from other attractions. Far away, overall I was very happy about my trip to Zhenjiang.

TTomoko M 0926Members of staff at the hotel, including receptionists, are very nice and friendly, welcoming my arrival, greetings 'Hello' every time with big smile on their face.
My stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.
HOWEVER, there is only one small problem.
When you book a room, please check very carefully if the room you are booking has a window or not. On the Trip.com site, it says; 'Has a window' 'Partially has a window' 'A fixed window' or something like this. Not only see some photos of the rooms on the website, but also carefully check if the room you are booking surely has a window or not.
When I checked-in, I was told that my room had NO window. It was O.K. if you were in your room only to sleep, because the room is large enough, clean enough and comfortable enough. Nothing is wrong with the room itself at all. However, I found on the following morning that I could not see how the weather was like until I actually went outside, because I could not see outside from the window.

MM401103****The price is really good for off-peak travel. From the moment we arrived, the hotel front desk provided us with meticulous service with a professional and enthusiastic attitude. Not only did they patiently select a comfortable room for us to ensure that we stayed at ease, but they also carefully introduced the beautiful scenery and characteristics around the hotel, which gave us a deeper understanding of Zhenjiang. In particular, the tourist route planned for us by Xiao Zhang at the front desk was so thoughtful! I was deeply impressed that she took the initiative to contact us when something accidentally fell in the lobby. Your enthusiasm and professionalism made us feel the warmth of home and made this trip more memorable. It is our luck to meet a front desk like you who serves with heart! I am very satisfied with this stay experience. There are many parking spaces, and there are places with popular snacks around. The room is also clean and tidy. The waiters I met are all warmly greeted. It is a happy and satisfying experience.

A particular highlight was the complimentary coffee machine in the lobby – the coffee was rich and aromatic, and I could grab a cup anytime. What truly impressed me even more was the constantly stocked ice dispenser right next to it! For someone like me who can't live without iced drinks, this was an absolute godsend, making it incredibly convenient to get an iced Americano or just cold water. Such thoughtful attention to detail definitely deserves full marks! Highly recommend!

11365651****I went out with friends on vacation this time and booked a standard room. The hotel upgraded us to two double rooms with projectors free of charge. The service was very good and in place. We checked in directly with the code lock without having to go to the front desk. There is an underground parking lot with free parking and an elevator that goes directly to the room. The next morning, we went to climb Mount Qishan and visit Beihu Park. The scenery was nice. The buffet breakfast provided by the hotel was also very good. Overall, it is very cost-effective and I will come again next time.

GGlenysMGreenTree Inn, Jurong (Jiangsu Province) is an oldie but a goody! I stayed there for 5 nights in late August/early September (2025). At first glance I was a bit dubious, but it turned out to be a really great place to stay. I felt very safe there and in the neighbourhood (day and night) and would stay there again.
Excellent customer service ..… the Reception and cleaning staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
The first room I was allocated smelt of cigarette smoke (no thank you!), but I was immediately moved into a nicer smelling room, which was absolutely spotless, quite large, and had a nice new smart tv, air con, an opening window with a flyscreen and security bars (essential for a ground floor room), nice solid furniture, pure white linen (impressively imprinted with “GreenTree Inn”) and a clean, comfy doona and pillows. A standard hard’ish Chinese bed, but I find them quite comfy.
The old carpet runner along the length of the long ground floor hallway (where my room was) is a relic from way back when, but it was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel that I could see.
The shower head needed fixing, but that’s an annoyingly common problem in pretty much every budget ＞ mid range hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in China.
The hotel is only about 20 metres from Jurong Chongming Subway Station. Local bus stop almost at the front door (& across the road). The entrance to the old cobbled road (no cars allowed) & all its little shops is across the road at the lights, and a large pharmacy at the entrance (near the “archway”). Electric scooters galore to hire (via the AliPay or WeChat apps) outside the subway. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance once you get past the trades shops (plumbing supplies etc).
My only gripe about GreenTree Inn Jurong (& this is a gripe I have for many hotels etc throughout China) is that smoking is allowed on the premises. I think it’s the worst it’s been since 2002 when I first started travelling to China. It’s awful walking into foyers and lifts that reek of cigarette smoke, and copping wafts of the smoke along hallways from smokers in their rooms (& ashtrays at lift entrances), and horrible arriving tired after a long flight and long trek from airports etc, only to discover you then have to request a room change to escape the smoke, and start all over again. No matter how accommodating the staff are, I could easily do without that hassle and the horrible smell.
In my opinion, hotels etc in China need to up their game where that’s concerned, and follow the lead of the many countries which have banned cigarette smoking in all public buildings (including hotels), all public indoor and outdoor spaces, anywhere near children and shopping centres, on and near public transport etc etc etc.

AAnonymous UserThe room was quite spacious, but a bit old and had cobwebs. The toiletries were disposable and quite complete. The window couldn't be completely closed, and the high-speed rail announcement was so clear that it made people feel a sense of urgency. It was very close to the high-speed rail station, so convenient. I no longer had to worry about missing the high-speed rail.
