Ddr3amieOne word to describe this hotel: AMAZING. A beautiful, clean and luxurious hotel sitting just across the road from the Yangtze River. The tranquil and serenity enveloped me the moment I stepped out of my ride immediately relaxed every cell in my body. The staff are amazing, they actually made it a point to remember which room I stayed in. Got an upgrade and wow, the room was just amazing. They had a very wide breakfast spread for us to choose from, from the usual english breakfast to Jiangsu's traditional noodles. Be sure to ask for their baby lobster noodles and big bao, just super yummy. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant the 1st night and tried the delicacies they had. Puffer fish and what they called 长鱼, were really very yummy too. I really, really, highly recommend this hotel should you want to visit Zheng Jiang. I'll definitely be back again.

GGuest UserMy stay in the Deluxe King Room at Danyang Xiangyi Hotel was truly excellent! Firstly, the room was incredibly spacious, boasting modern decor and impeccable cleanliness. The king-sized bed was exceptionally comfortable, with a mattress that was just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom featured a convenient wet/dry separation, and the shower's strong water pressure was wonderfully invigorating. The provided toiletries were also of good quality. Secondly, the hotel staff were fantastic; from check-in at the front desk to room service, everyone was warm, professional, and very attentive. Finally, the location is ideal, especially for business travelers or those visiting Danyang to buy eyeglasses. You'll find a wide variety of dining and shopping choices within easy reach. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Danyang! I highly recommend it to all my friends.

The hotel environment is nice, warm and comfortable. The front desk lady is enthusiastic and responsive. The room is cleaned in a timely manner, clean and tidy. A plate of fruit is served every day, which is thoughtful. The breakfast variety is quite rich and the taste is quite good. In fact, what I like most is the dry and wet separation in the bathroom. The shower is comfortable for bathing. The hotel is good and I will continue to choose to stay next time I come to Zhenjiang.

GGuest UserReally want to call me crazy at the Shuguang Hotel I just stayed in! As soon as I entered the lobby, the atmospheric decoration style attracted me. It was full of high-end sense and the layout was very festive, suitable for taking pictures and punching in! The room surprised me even more, the space was spacious and bright, and the details showed the quality. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the toiletries are of high quality and very comfortable to use. The hotel's service is first-class. From the front desk to the cleaning, everyone is smiling, especially the front desk Xiao Zhang makes me feel very warm. I also sent a small snack intimately, super love. The hotel's supporting facilities are also very complete, self-service laundry and robots to send things into the room, we ordered takeaway, and soon sent it over! ! This stay experience is perfect, the price is super high, I strongly recommend everyone to feel it, I am avoiding the peak of travel, no need to crowd people, not bad [victory][victory][victory]

GGuest UserThis time, the king room with a bathtub was fantastic! The king-size bed was soft and comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The freestanding bathtub was clean with plenty of hot water, perfect for a relaxing soak. The printer and public computers in the lobby were super convenient, a lifesaver for business travelers needing to work on the go. The gym was well-equipped and clean, and the self-service laundry room with both washers and dryers was incredibly helpful for business trips or travel. The hotel was very clean, the service was excellent, and it offered great value for money. I'll definitely be back!

Next day I wanted to courier some parcel, they called courier guy, he charged very normal amount - No hide n seek, Overall I was happy with thier service. GGlenysMGreenTree Inn, Jurong (Jiangsu Province) is an oldie but a goody! I stayed there for 5 nights in late August/early September (2025). At first glance I was a bit dubious, but it turned out to be a really great place to stay. I felt very safe there and in the neighbourhood (day and night) and would stay there again. Excellent customer service ..… the Reception and cleaning staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The first room I was allocated smelt of cigarette smoke (no thank you!), but I was immediately moved into a nicer smelling room, which was absolutely spotless, quite large, and had a nice new smart tv, air con, an opening window with a flyscreen and security bars (essential for a ground floor room), nice solid furniture, pure white linen (impressively imprinted with “GreenTree Inn”) and a clean, comfy doona and pillows. A standard hard’ish Chinese bed, but I find them quite comfy. The old carpet runner along the length of the long ground floor hallway (where my room was) is a relic from way back when, but it was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel that I could see. The shower head needed fixing, but that’s an annoyingly common problem in pretty much every budget ＞ mid range hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in China. The hotel is only about 20 metres from Jurong Chongming Subway Station. Local bus stop almost at the front door (& across the road). The entrance to the old cobbled road (no cars allowed) & all its little shops is across the road at the lights, and a large pharmacy at the entrance (near the “archway”). Electric scooters galore to hire (via the AliPay or WeChat apps) outside the subway. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance once you get past the trades shops (plumbing supplies etc). My only gripe about GreenTree Inn Jurong (& this is a gripe I have for many hotels etc throughout China) is that smoking is allowed on the premises. I think it’s the worst it’s been since 2002 when I first started travelling to China. It’s awful walking into foyers and lifts that reek of cigarette smoke, and copping wafts of the smoke along hallways from smokers in their rooms (& ashtrays at lift entrances), and horrible arriving tired after a long flight and long trek from airports etc, only to discover you then have to request a room change to escape the smoke, and start all over again. No matter how accommodating the staff are, I could easily do without that hassle and the horrible smell. In my opinion, hotels etc in China need to up their game where that’s concerned, and follow the lead of the many countries which have banned cigarette smoking in all public buildings (including hotels), all public indoor and outdoor spaces, anywhere near children and shopping centres, on and near public transport etc etc etc.

GGuest UserI went out with friends on vacation this time and booked a standard room. The hotel upgraded us to two double rooms with projectors free of charge. The service was very good and in place. We checked in directly with the code lock without having to go to the front desk. There is an underground parking lot with free parking and an elevator that goes directly to the room. The next morning, we went to climb Mount Qishan and visit Beihu Park. The scenery was nice. The buffet breakfast provided by the hotel was also very good. Overall, it is very cost-effective and I will come again next time.
