We didn't care that much as it was just a one night sleep.

Ironically had to pay a security deposit for what was a room that needs a complete refurb.
Impossible to shower as insufficient cold water and no cold water in morning to brush teeth. Not good.

"Unusual venue for regular business traveller. Room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable, the bathroom was large but not the greatest of showers. The hotel doesn’t have a lot of amenities due its dual purpose outlook. However, the location close to Headingley offers plenty of places to eat and drink. There’s even a Wetherspoons within 200 yards. Nice touch from the hotel was a breakfast package in a bag, as I was leaving before breakfast was served. Ideal for someone looking for a peaceful nights stay."

"Check was efficient, the room on first inspection looked good, the first problem the socket for coffee machine and kettle would not work, the reception team came to room 108, it could not be fixed as it was weekend. Due to socket which is also adjacent to mirror, was difficult to use hair dryer so far away. I would have also expected there to be hand towels in bathroom, also it would have been a nice touch for bottled water to be available as the weather was so hot. The bar and restaurant that is attached to the hotel, was very expensive, we only had a drink, but we had a service charge of 10% added to the bill, which i found rather odd as we were guest of the hotel, the hotel was in a good location for our trip to the Leeds arena, I also appreciate the discount of parking"

"We used this hotel as we were travelling to visit the university site @ beckett for my old child. The staff were all lovely and welcoming. The only thing that let the site down was the parking as after a period time they don’t have a massive area. If you wanted to visit the city centre get a local taxis and leave the car behide."

"I requested a quiet room , which when I arrived was happy to see I was on the 5th floor . After the event I attended I came back to my room and was very upset to be met by very loud music blaring into the room from outside , this continued all night and stopped at 5am . I managed 1hours sleep , I was mortified . This ruined my experience."

"Leonardo is a well-known chain in the UK and Europe, so you generally can't go too wrong with their hotels. However, this particular Leo in Leeds feels a bit less impressive than the ones in Glasgow Royal or Manchester Central. It's probably on par with the Heathrow branch, in terms of indoor facilities. There's a Sainsbury's supermarket right behind the hotel, open until 11 PM, which is super convenient for grabbing snacks. It's a 10-minute walk from Leeds Station, and also not far from Leeds Corn Exchange, Leeds Art Gallery, and Leeds Armouries Museum (which I highly recommend for its weapons and ancient warfare exhibits). You can also take a bus to the University of Leeds (it doesn't have walls but boasts a large campus) and Hyde Park next to it. 🏃🏃♂️🏃♀️"

From checking in early to checking out, everything was superb ! The staff af reception were among the friendliest we have come across.
The room was very clean and a really comfy bed made for an excellent night's sleep.
Breakfast was amazing, and as soon as anything ran out, it was replenished straight away. Choices were really good and excellent quality too
Definitely recommend this hotel, and we'll definitely be back.

GGuest UserAs a first time solo female traveller, I was apprehensive at first. However, I need not to have been. Staff, were amazingly friendly, kind and helpful. At breakfast, I sat alone and a member of staff came over and asked if I was OK, and did I need anything. I just thought it was a lovely personal touch, especially nowadays, where good customer services seems to be a hard ask. This hotel is definitely recommended, and I will definitely be going back next time I am in the city. Keep up the good work!!

Yyuanyuan.Good hotel but have bad experience. As I arrived at the hotel around 22:00 I booked a suite to have a quiet night but at around 4:00am I was woken up by a loud knocking on the door, I don't know how long he had been there, I was very disturbed to see through the peephole a drunken male in a grey blouse on the floor, he kept screaming and banging on the door next to a person in a pink skirt in front of my door , I was very scared and I called the front desk in a hurry and the front desk kicked him out. But I was mentally damaged, I was woken up at 4am by knocking on the door, I was in the hotel alone as a female and my personal mental state was seriously damaged, however the hotel did not give me any feedback either, this night was the worst night of my stay.

The room was spacious and bright, complete with slippers, bathrobes, complimentary bottled water, and cookies, as well as a kettle and a coffee machine. Honestly, this has been the best value-for-money hotel I've stayed at so far on my trip to the UK.

MM432452****The hotel's location is fantastic, right inside the train station, yet the room was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The bed was also very clean and comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly friendly and understanding; he even let me check in at noon when my train arrived. Highly recommend!
