Amazing
GGuest UserStayed in twin room on second floor. Check in was easy, staff really friendly and service excellent. Room was lovely. Comfortable and quiet. Good facilities and shower was fantastic. No hot buffet breakfast, but you ordered from a menu. Portions small but very tasty. There was a cold continental style buffet. The young lady who served us both mornings was delightful. Nothing too much trouble. Wish I had taken her name to name drop her specifically on this review! Location was excellent. Around 5 mins walk from the station and 2 mins walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars etc. When checking out at 11, the hotel allowed us to keep our bags there until 6pm as our train wasn't until early evening. Saved us a bad back carrying them around! All in all, excellent stay and would be my first choice hotel if / when we return to Leeds.

GGuest UserThis hotel doesn't offer extra beds or sofa beds, which was inaccurately stated on Trip.com. Thankfully, it was resolved smoothly. The hotel is very close to the train station, making it ideal for those traveling by train. You can drop off your luggage and easily explore the city.

Great
AAnonymous UserLovely overnight stay at Queens for a concert in the city. Location is ideal (attached to the train station). Excellent, friendly staff. Did online check in before arrival which made it quick and simple to collect key card from the reception. The room was spacious and clean with everything you’d need. Limited noise from outside even though the hotel is slap bang in the city centre. Would stay again.

Very Good
TTTTHIf you're traveling by train, this hotel is relatively close, about a 10-minute walk from the train station and a 15-minute walk from the city center, both easily accessible. The hotel breakfast is good, offering a basic English breakfast, though the coffee isn't great. The rooms are a bit larger compared to other English hotels. During my stay this time, the bathtub drain was blocked, but the staff went out of their way to help me resolve the issue, and they succeeded. The hotel also has a swimming pool and a sauna, but children are not allowed in the sauna. If children want to use the pool, they must go before 6 PM. This is a good hotel, and I would visit again.

GGuest UserAltough fully paid thriough Trip.com, the reception had difficulty in finding my booking.
Don't be fooled by the swimming pool photo offered by the hotel, it is actually quite tiny.
The hotel room is a bit small. We paid £61 a night including breakfast for 2. No complain.
From the reception to the bedroom, there are many 3 steops along the way. Altough step lifts are provided, probably not worth to use them just to get a large luggage over the steps.
The location is excellent, it is near The Springs retail park which is a new shopping and dinnig place.
GGuest UserThe hotel it's self was brilliant and the location was fab . Got late check out witch again was great but the cleaning was not great BUT I did talk to the lady in the morning and she asked for the photos and flagged it straight away. This lady was fantastic but didn't get her name .
The bed sheets where ALL inside out and the bottom sheet was not big enough so there was a 4” gap at the top of the bed witch was mattress protecter, this had a dirty mark on it that looked like blood .
The whole room was dusty and the spoons for the cups where dirty and it looked like it had not been hooved . I didn't want to course a fuss as me and my daughter had a brilliant night and I didn't want to spoil it .
It was flagged with management so I'm hoping they get in touch with me regarding this situation as obviously I did pay for a clean room .
CCatrynExcellent location just off the motorway. Spa / pool / gym are great to break up the day. Staff are great, very friendly and helpful. Rooms lovely.
Bar & grill could do with a change of menu. Food choice and standard are both poor. The price also being expensive for what it is. No one asks if everything was ok with any meals. Frequently cold meals / parts of meals. Breakfast buffet was not the best and the hot selection was poor in taste & quality. Not worth £10.
I would stay again but order food in or bring food with me.
BBradleyWe had an overnight stay for dinner and breakfast and were very impressed with the hotel, set in an old Manor House which is well maintained to keep the original style alive.
The food was nice and the experience was great even despite the original restaurant room being closed for refurbishments.
The bar is set in the Manor House’s drawing room which made for a nice setting after having dinner in the evening.
Overall it was a very nice stay and was reasonably priced for what was on offer and we hope to stay again!
AAnonymous UserDisappointing! Stayed at this hotel in the past and felt the standards had dropped. Our room had been set up as a twin . We didn’t complain but someone arrived to change it to a double when we were just enjoying a coffee and relaxing.
The fire alarm went off several times which was unpleasant . We appreciate it needs to be loud but there was obviously a problem with it!
The view from the window was just a view over a concrete roof.
The staff seemed very disinterested when we waited to be seated at breakfast! The coffee machine was broken ( jugs of hot coffee were available)
After breakfast we had intended to relax before leaving but room 118 didn’t allow for this It was directly over a keep fit class with tunes like “ Come on Eileen “ blaring out whilst the instructor sang along!!
GGuest UserPoor customer service.
There is an info in the room that taxi can be booked at reception desk. We went to reception and the staff member only pointed at the phone numbers and told us we could book it ourselves. She didn’t even get up from her chair or come over to assist us .
Room only ok, lots of dust in the bathroom ventilation vent
