"This is the first time my family and I have been so satisfied staying in a 2-bedroom residence unit. We could all stay together with our two parents and the two of us. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The sofa bed was also comfortable and spacious for sleeping. It could easily accommodate 5 people, or even 7, because the king-size bed was incredibly huge, more than 2 meters wide. We were very impressed and satisfied with all the facilities. There were two dressing tables. There's a bathroom in each room, and even an additional toilet in the living room, although it's not for showering. So, a total of 3 toilets. The room temperature was just right; it could be adjusted and turned off. There was only one hanger in each room, so we had to request more, and it took a long time – we had to call three times before they arrived. Initially, we didn't realize the shower drain had a rubber stopper, so it ended up flooding everywhere, and it took a while to get a new mat. But overall, it was a very nice experience staying at LK Pemuda. Please improve the quality of your service and facilities!"

"One of the 4-star hotels in the heart of Semarang. The reservation process was easy and hassle-free, and the staff were very easygoing. The TV channels were extensive and included YouTube, so it seems they have a smart TV system. "My first stay at this hotel was quite unpleasant. I was given a room at the very end of the hall, and the cleanliness was subpar. There were a lot of mosquitoes, and the bed sheets and pillowcases weren't clean; it seemed like they hadn't been changed after the previous checkout, as there was a lingering smell of hair oil on the pillowcase. I tried to report it and asked the staff, but they insisted they had been changed. The water pressure from the sink faucet was extremely low, and the first flush of the toilet was very dark, like drain water, so I had to let it run for a while before I could use it."

"I always choose this hotel whenever I visit the city because it has never disappointed me. The location is excellent, with easy access to shopping malls, restaurants, and public transportation, making every trip very convenient. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help with any requests. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. "The hotel has a great design. Although the rooms are small, the beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the rooftop. The downsides are that there is no elevator, the staff is not well-trained, there is no restaurant, the parking lot is very small, and there are no slippers in the rooms."

"Love the room very much. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is an elevator, smooth internet. You can walk to the peony market, semawi weekend market, alun2 mosque agung weekend market. Easy to find halal and non-halal food. Private parking, so safe, no competition with other shops. Cold air conditioner, smooth hot water, smart TV. The room is quite spacious. The room only provides shampoo soap."

Anonymous UserAll the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities are excellent, and I particularly have to praise their swimming pool. Having stayed in numerous five-star hotels across different countries, I can confidently say their pool is one of the larger ones and impeccably clean. The only downside is that it closes at 8 PM.
The hotel's breakfast buffet is incredibly extensive; you're guaranteed to find something you'll enjoy. The restaurant staff are exceptionally attentive. If you dine there for breakfast two days in a row, they'll already remember your preferences and ask if you need anything specific.
Furthermore, their Chinese restaurant, Summer Palace, serves outstanding Cantonese cuisine, and the prices are very reasonable. Even the staff in the Chinese restaurant maintain the hotel's consistently friendly service. If you ever have the chance to stay at this hotel, I highly recommend trying their Chinese restaurant.

Anonymous UserThis hotel has a unique and pleasant interior. The location is very strategic. The rooms are also comfortable and spacious. Generally, the cleanliness is good. However, there were some stains on the bed sheets. We checked, and the bed sheets had already been changed, but the stains were still there after coming from the laundry. Perhaps they could cross-check this with their laundry vendor. Even after we asked for new ones from housekeeping, they were in the same condition. Another minor point for me is the complimentary drinking water. It seems to be water from a dispenser (we don't know if it's refilled or not) served in a jug, not bottled mineral water. That's a bit odd for a 4-star hotel standard. But overall, it's okay.

Ong HartonoThis was my first time staying at Khas Semarang. I arrived around 12 pm and the hotel was very crowded because there was an event that day. The staff told me check-in was only at 2 pm, which is fine, but the problem was there were basically no seats available in the lobby to wait.
They suggested I sit in the restaurant instead. Honestly that felt a bit strange since it’s Ramadan and people are fasting. Anyway, as a local I didn’t really mind, so I just went to Paragon Mall which is about 10 minutes away to kill some time.
The room itself was quite clean and had all the basic amenities, so no issue there.
For sahur, I requested breakfast to be delivered at 3 am. It only arrived around 3:30 am. When I asked the staff why it was late, they said they had to deliver to more than 20 rooms first. That made me wonder why they don’t just open a simple sahur buffet to make things easier for everyone. The soto was actually nice, but unfortunately it was already cold by the time it arrived.
Food overall was decent.
One thing I like about this hotel is the location. There are quite a few nice cafés around and many of them are open 24 hours, so it’s easy to find somewhere to hang out late at night if you want.

HENDRO PRDOn my frequent business trips to Semarang, I always stay at the PO Hotel, which is conveniently located next to Paragon Mall. It's a 5-star hotel in the city center, offering a nice staycation experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and for dinner, I just walk to PG Mall through the connected doorway. The breakfast menu is also comprehensive and delicious. My suggestion for PO Hotel would be to upgrade the TVs to smart TVs and add more local channels, specifically Anteve and Indosiar, if possible.

My stay at Novotel Semarang was very satisfying overall; it truly lives up to its international brand reputation, with all aspects performing above average.
Excellent Location: The hotel is situated in a prime location in downtown Semarang, offering incredibly convenient transportation access to the Old Town (Kota Lama), popular attractions, and shopping malls. It's a top choice for both business travelers and tourists.
High Standard of Service and Dining: The staff were exceptionally warm and professional right from check-in. I especially want to praise their breakfast – the variety was impressive, with a wide selection of local Indonesian flavors and Western dishes, all prepared with great care.
Well-Equipped Facilities, Though Showing Some Age: The room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. While it's clear the hotel has been around for a while and the decor is more classic and traditional, the overall cleanliness was spotless, and maintenance was excellent. The hotel's pool and gym were also very clean, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

Tokyo07Everyone was friendly..Staff were helpful and polite..They greeted you everytime they see you..Some even offered to assist you even though if you didn’t ask.Service was simply perfect,no complains!
Gym and pool were under maintenance.Construction was going on at the main hotel.Wasn’t aware of the maintenance till you checked in (Maintenance Notice placed on room table).Maybe updates should be reflected on third party apps or via whatsapp to avoid disappointment.
Wifi was poor.For a well rated hotel,this was a huge letdown.Management & maintenance should look into this.Was staying at room 806.Not sure if other floors or rooms are encountering this problem.Ended up using data roaming through my 3 days there.

eyecandygoThis is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in years, easily top three. Their attention to detail and dedication to service quality are absolutely incredible. I wholeheartedly and earnestly recommend this hotel to all travelers; they are truly outstanding. As for location, it's very close to Semarang's Old Town, about 500 meters away, making it a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to explore the old town's charm and vibrant atmosphere.

the service is also friendly
there is a lift to go up to the upper floors
the room is clean, fragrant, no cigarette smell
